"But Papa... What about your family? Pietro is starting to not dislike you as much. If you leave, you'll ruin all of that progress... Maybe, a vacation instead?" She suggested kneeling in front of him. "Papa. The people of this city love you. You gave them a home, a purpose, a second chance...Why would they not give you one too?"

*Meanwhile nearby,*

Luke held tight to Charles hand, "You sure he won't mind." Luke had been going on and on about giving Eric his pictures and now that the time had finally come, he was rather nervous. Since he'd never truly met the man.

"It's not that simple" Eric replied, "I've been thinking a lot about what you and Magda have said to me. I..." he hesitated, the thought of it still made his insides squirm, "I'm going to try living among them again. You say that homo sapiens deserve a chance, that some can be trusted. I value your opinion but I have to see it for myself and I can't do that here. Pietro will be fine, my family knows how to get a long without me."

"I see..." She put her hands on his, and smiled lightly, "This is a big step of you. Promise you'll stay in touch?" She asked, trying not to get emotional.

Eric nodded, "My biggest problem is that I can't fly anywhere. My face is plastered across the world on no-fly lists."

"Everything's fine" Charles encouraged, nudging Luke to the door.

"Hmmm...." Ciara got up, playing with a curl of hair as she thought. "I may know someone who can help on your appearance... Nothing permanent just a bit of magic...Let me go make a phone call."

Luke looked toward Charles and then up at the door and gulped. He was about to knock when Ciara opened to door, making him jump back a bit.

"Oh. Hello Luke, Charlie. What's up?"
"Is... Mr. Magneto in?"
Ciara smiled, "Why yes, he is." She rubbed his hair. "Papa. You have a little visitor." She held the door open for them before heading off to look into Eric's little problem.

Luke walked into the room and stopped, looking down at his shoes, rather nervous. "Umm..."

Charles nudged Luke forward again.

Eric looked over curiously, "Hmm... it's Luke, right?" he asked, leaning forward, "what have you got there?"

Luke straighten up when his name was called, "Umm, yes sir." He looked down at the pictures and blushed lightly. "Um. Charlie and Violet said you weren't feeling quite like yourself since you got back so I drew you get better pictures."

Eric couldn't help but smile, "That's very kind of you. Well? Are you going to come over here and show me?" he asked, patting the bed next to him.

Luke looked back at Charles before smiling and climbing onto the bed. "This one is you building Genosha with your super metal powers... Oh, this is you disarming a tank and saving a whole bunch of people... This is you lending a hand to some people who got stuck..." Luke pulled out the several drawings and one of them had Eric in a speefy new outfit.

"That one doesn't look like me" Eric pointed out the new outfit, "What am I wearing?"

Luke looked at it, "But it is you. See you're using your metal boots to float."

"It's certainly a lot of white. I like it" he smiled at Luke, then looked at him curiously, "Are you a mutant?" he asked, he couldn't quite remember.

Luke looked down and shifted back and forth, "No sir. I don't have any powers."

"But your sister does. Maybe you'll get some to"

Luke looked up hopeful, "You think so? That would be nice...Then I have the ball at recess." He said excitedly.

Eric tilted his head a little confused, "What do you mean?"

Luke realized he'd spoken outloud and looked at Charles and then back at his nap, playing with his pant leg, "Well... some of the kids at school don't like that I'm different... they don't let me play with the toy balls during recess..."

"That's not very fair" Charles frowned, "Maybe if a certain creator of Genosha went to talk to them..."

Eric gave Charles a look.

"No! No. It's ok. I mean, Mr. Magneto is a busy man... and... They're just angry. Because... people treated them badly. So they're trying to even the score... even tho it's not fair and it hurts a lot... They're hurting too right?"

That hit a little close to home, but Eric tried to smile still, "that's right" he ruffled Luke's hair, "you don't hate them for it though?"

"Violet says Hate is a strong word... I don't like what they do but I know why they do it... I just wish we could be friends... Eric, he can fly around and David can make his drawings come to life!" He got excited just thinking about it.

"That's pretty cool" Eric commented.

"I know right? I hope I have powers someday. But if I don't, that'll be ok cause I'll still be me..." A look of horror crossed his face, "Am I gonna have to leave the island if I don't have powers? Jimmy says they throw all the human off with a giant catapult. I don't wanna be thrown into the ocean. I'll be good :( "

Eric chuckled, "no, no, you have nothing to worry about, I'll make sure of it."

Luke smiled warmly, "You know, you're pretty cool Mr. Magneto. Do you feel better now with your Get better pictures?"
