"I would greatly appreciate it." Eric smiled

"Perfect. I'll call right now. Just a sec." She got up from the table and returned after a few mins. "I talked it over and it seems alright. actually, do you have any experience training mutants to use their powers? We've been having the students do Skype lessons to help learn to deal with the changes in their body. It'd be amazing if we actually had someone on staff.."

Eric blinked, "A... job?" he grinned, "As a matter of fact, I do have some experience with teaching mutants."

She smiled, rather excited and clapped her hands together, "Perfect. Course there will be a job interview but I think you'll fit in quite well."

"I'll give you a reference from Genosha, just as soon as I can" Eric nodded

The next day.

"Everyone, this is Mr. Eisenhardt. He'll be accompanying us back to the academy. He's got a interview so let's make him welcome." Miss Ambrose introduced at the front of the bus. All the students clapped in welcome.

"Miss Ambrose. Miss Ambrose."
"Yes, Gilad."
"Isn't he the man who's been following us around for the last couple of days."
"Well..." She looked at Max and then back at the students. "That... That's because part of his interview process was to asset you all on your behavioural skills out in public. And I must say you all did a pleasantly good job representing the school. In fact, once we're over the boarder I'm buying everyone drinks from Timmies!" She cheered and was soon followed by cheers from the students.

The only two seat left were at the front.

Eric sat down at the front with the teacher, "What is 'Timmies'?" he asked curiously

She sat down besides and giggled, "Oh right. You're not from Canada. It's short form for Tim Horton's. It's a coffee shop chain in Canada. Very popular. They're cinnamon rasion cookies are the best <3. So where did you live before Genosha? " She asked curiously.

"I've moved around a lot" Eric replied, "across Europe, a little in America. Here and there."

"Ah, an explorer type eh?" She pulled out her tablet and some earbuds, "Wanna watch a movie? It's a rather long bus ride."

"... you have movies on that?" Eric asked, looking at the screen, "Since when was this type of technology available for everyone?"

Miss Abrose blinked, "Ummm... at least 10 years I think? Why?"

"-_- And here I thought Forge was making major breakthroughs on Genosha." he face palmed.

"Maybe you were so blown away by this sort of thing he didn't bother showing what he really had made?" She suggested as she scrolled through the movie covers. "Anything pop out?"

"I remember this one" Eric pointed out a remake of an old movie, "It was very good"

"Okie Doke." She selected it and handed him an earbud. "Don't worry, I wash them after I use them"

Eric looked at the earbud and carefully placed it in his ear, the sound was surprisingly good and he smiled, sat back and watched the movie.

About half way through the movie, Miss Ambrose fell asleep and her head flopped against Eric's shoulder. Long bus rides always put her to sleep.

Eric blinked, smiled a little and let her rest. Such a lovely lady.

Miss Ambrose awoke when they took their pit stop at Timmies. It was rather dark by the time they arrived back at the school. Miss Ambrose lead Max to the staff housing. "You can stay in the guest house tonight. I'll come get you in the morning for your interview."

"Thank you" He kissed her hand, "You have been more than accommodating for me. Please, tell me if there is anything that I can do to repay you."

"Well I was taught to treat others the way I would like to be treated so no biggy... Just make sure next time, instead of stalking someone just go up and talk to them." She smiled sweetly back. " My house is the next one over if you have any troubles.Good Night."

"I'll have to keep that in mind" Eric chuckled, "Goodnight" he nodded to her and headed into the guest house.

"Gooood Morning!" came a voice from the front hall. "You better hurry. I hear they're making crepes this morning in the mass hall."

"Hmm?" Eric yawned a little, he'd gotten up and was just getting himself ready, "I'll be there in a moment!" he replied, making his bed.
