"More?"

"... yes" he handed over the bowl. "What are those painkillers? I don't like T3's"

She took the cup and poured him more, "No, we make our own. Senior Herbology class made them. Much more effective."

"Natural remedies?" Eric actually perked up a little. He knew a thing or two about natural remedies, it was more than once in his life that he had needed to find such things out in the wild before. "Like rosemary and willow bark?" he asked.

"Something like that." She handed him a tablet.

Eric swallowed the tablet with some soup to chase it down. He stared into the bowl for a moment afterwards, "I remember when I first learned about those plants... a bunch of us had just escaped the concentration camp before they could kill us all, but it wasn't long before the cold wilderness started making us sick. One of the girls had lived in a flower shop or something, she taught us which plants could be used to make us better"

She put a hand on his knee after letting him ramble on for a while, "Ready to go?" She asked softly.

Eric's eyes were distant, lost in his own world until she touched him, "huh? Oh, right... Fury" he shook the cobwebs from his mind and tried to get up again, slowly this time.

"My grandmother's family owned a flower shop when she was little..." She trailed off. "We're on the second floor, please allow me to carry you to the outside door. "She knelt down.

Eric sighed, "Alright, but just this once... because I'm tired... and everything hurts" he admitted.

She smiled warmly, "Our secret." She put her a finger to her lips before picking him up and the thermus.

She set him down just inside of the outside door.

"No way. You are not putting cameras in such places!"

"And what happens if Loki infiltrates this place again?" Fury retorted, "you want a single flaw in security to put your students at risk?"

Eric stepped outside, "I hope you realize that the whole country can hear you two screaming" he commented.

Thor was helping some students nearby. He'd given up trying to get the two to work together. Everyone else was working away.

Miss Turner walked up with Max. "Low Blood sugar."

"Hm? Huh?" Miss Abrose blinked, "Oh, th-thank you." She took a sip and her shoulders relaxed. "Umm... Where were we?" She asked having calmed down almost instantly.

"I believe Director Fury was insisting on better surveillance security" Eric stated, "however I agree with Miss Ambrose that Shield should not be allowed such liberties on this property. However, the school itself can increase it's own security protocols and that should make everyone happy."

"Er- Max, Shield is one of the reasons we have this school..." She pointed out, "Perhaps we should continue this conversation inside, over coffee?"

"Ah. The boy hero!" Thor came over, "What daring feat you performed yesterday. Muses shall sing of your bravery!" He patted Eric on the shoulder."

"ow-OW!" Eric yelped, dropping to his knees as he doubled over in pain, "ribs..." he gasped, "pain... not... a... child!" he added irritably.

Fury raised a brow-the only visible one, "You don't act like a kid, but you sure look like one. Don't tell me, mutant?"

"Yes" Eric breathed, "sort of... this is not my ability..." he clenched his tiny fist, "This is Loki's fault."

"Oh forgive me. I dont' know my own strength," Thor helped Eric back up and gently brushed him off.

"This is Maximilian Eisenhardt. He's our new teacher here at the school." Miss Ambrose explained.

"I... see" Fury replied slowly, "looks like he should be resting."

"I am perfectly capable of lending aid in this situation" Eric argued as he followed them into the school.

"He should be." Miss Ambrose looked at Miss Turner. "But I value his input on the matter at hand. I suppose he won't rest knowing what was going on."

Eric nodded and they made their way inside and to a place where they could all sit and discuss. Unfortunately, half-way through, Eric had succumb to his weariness-from the injuries and from being a child (nappy time!) and he passed out in his chair.

Miss Ambrose pulled a blanket up over Eric and carried him back to the infirmary. When she returned she sighed, "I understand why you want to put up so much security but-" She paused, a hand over her chest.

Eric looked so quiet and peaceful as he slept, snuggling into Celeste as she took him away.

The director looked at her, "Is something wrong?"

"I don't want to students privacy invaded but... He knows what I am."

"That's very dangerous information in the hands of the wrong person" Fury frowned, "and I'd say Loki is definitely the wrong person. I'm calling this in, round the clock watch around the perimeter of the school and I'd like to place a few undercover staff on the premises as well."

She sighed, "Very well..." She said, giving in. "... You're going to call my Grandfather about this aren't you?" She rubbed her arm.
