She blushed, "I wish you'd stop doing that." But she knew why he did. She was something he'd only heard in fairy tales of Asgard. And here she was alive in the flesh.

And to think they had almost gone a whole semester without the school getting damaged.

Miss Ambrose lead Thor down a path of the other side of the school and to the lake. On the far left was a small almost shrine surrounded by bushes of flowers. There were several different religious symbols marked on the door. And in front of it were a set of steps, leading down into the water of the lake. A small stone pool in the water.((Like this:))

"So of our students come from various cultures. We try to acconidate for all their religious and cultural beliefs.


"CoCo. If you would." The little cat appeared by her side and in a blur it wrapped it's self like a ribbon around her, forming an oval and then returned back to it's form. Ceres stood in a white gown, her hair flowing all the way down and her glasses gone.

"This is truly a place of tranquility, it reminds me of the pools in Azgard" Thor commented

"My uncle would be most flattered by your compliment." She smiled, "He prizes his work in this sort of thing." She walked down the steps, picking up a wooden shallow bucket, "This takes some time, you best get comfy, God of Thunder." She walked into the pool and knelt in the shallow water.

Thor nodded and sat on the ground cross-legged, "I will do all that is required of me"

"I guess your presence here is all that is required." She smiled lightly, her back to Thor and her front facing the lake. She picked up a bucket of water and poured it over her head. She shivered. The water wasn't the warmest this time of year. Her jewel giving off a faint warm glow.

CoCo curled up infront of Thor's feet.
"Meow..."

Ceres stopped half pour, "CoCo says you look like you have questions you wish to ask."

Thor hesitated, "... I do not wish to impose..."

"Not at all. Now that you know what I am, I rather inform you then leave you wondering all day about it. Go ahead, Thor."

"Very well... if you insist" Thor replied, still a little hesitant, "... what is this cleansing you are doing now? How is it that your grandfather isn't also one of your kind? Are you adopted? Are you somehow only partially one of the legends? Is that even possible? To be half or...."

She held up her hand to stop him, "So many questions, I see." She smiled back at him before turning back.

"Let us see... The cleansing is part of the Ambrose family traditions... A custom. To wash away all the evils of this world from my body. So that one may remain strong and in balance with the magics of this world.

As for your other questions, I shall try to answer it best I can... in the form of a story.

Once a upon a time, long ago when the world was new. There were 4 families. The Silvermans, The Zenders, The Ries and the Ambroses. No one knew how the fighting had started but the families were at war with one another. One day, the heads of the families gathered to end the blood shed once and for all but when they went to attack one another...

A great light appeared before them. A tall glowing figure with eyes like the moonlight appeared in the brilliant light. The figure vanished and left before each man, a gem incased in the most elegant metal they had ever seen. The men took this as a sign to end the war and work together. Each head took a gem and a time of harmony and bless began. The gems brought each household great fortune and power.

In this time of harmony, each head of their family bore a child. Each one, a baby girl who's body had merged with the jewel of such good fortune. And each child wielded such great power and grace.

But the time of harmony ended when those with darkened hearts and minds corrupted the lands. Each girl defended their home. They're goal to bring hope back to this world....

When they died, their gem returns to the shrine of each household and waits for when it is needed once more."

She turned around to face him.

"I was once a Divine being. One who could not be touched by those among this plane... I am not human but I am not a true divine being. I have fallen... like a shooting star in the night sky. I can no longer return home. "She pulled her dress down a bit to show the gem," This gem is all that reminds of my original body. It is my heart and soul... My power... It is bonded with this body and can not be removed... Not till I must sleep once more..."

Thor gazed at her in wonder, "I have never heard this part of the legends. Does that mean that there are four of you on this earth?"

"I'm not surprised you haven't heard it. Because this took place after your myths and legends were formed in Asgard.

That's right. There are 4 divine beings who have fallen to this earth. Pallas, Vesta, Jun and myself. Thought currently only 3 of us are alive at the moment. "

"Jun, that was the one that attacked you" Thor pointed out, "are you having a disagreement? I am well aware of the trouble siblings can be."

"No... nothing like that. She's not herself... it's like Vesta all over again."

"Who is Vesta?" Thor asked, "what happened?"

She sighed deeply and CoCo got up and pawed at her from the side of the pool. "It's ok CoCo. He should know." She patted CoCo who returned over to Thor, purring away.

"Before we all fell from the heavens. The four of us were sisters.... Pallas is the oldest, then Vesta, then Jun, then myself. Though sometimes when we are reborn here on earth we aren't always born around the same time... Vesta was 14 years older than me when I was born...

There is something you should know about us beings. We mate for life. " She turned away a bit, "When we become one with another we are bond to them for the rest of their lives... It is tradition for our families to select suitors for us... Vesta didn't like that idea. She wanted to choice for herself.

She ran away with a man who she thought was good hearted but... he turned out to be a monster. He sealed her magic away and hid her away from us, abused her and even shared her with other men...

The families united to aid the search for her.. It was my human parents who found Vesta. Alone and broken in the rain.

I was about 4 years old. They brought her home and contacted the families. She stayed with us for a few days... On the second night... she snapped, a rage like no other from her eyes. She killed my parents. I don't know how I survived. I just remember finding myself in the tall grass, staring up at a burning house.

So I was raised by my grandfather at the family estate..

The girl from the other night, Jun, she was different than Vesta. She disappeared about a week ago. But her gem... it's suppose to be green but... it was almost black... "

"o.o..." Thor stood, walked over and gave her a giant bear hug, "I am terribly sorry for your loss. Surely there must be something we can still do to prevent Jun from succumbing to the same fate"

Ceres blushed as bright as a near by rose bush. She was soaking wet, in a white gown... "It's alright... Vesta will be reborn once more... But that's why my Grandfather is so pushy with suitors for me... And as for Jun, I don't know... I've never seen anything like it... Can... can you put me down?"

"Ah-certainly" Thor set her down and with a bow of his head stepped back. "So perhaps your sister can yet be saved then?" he asked hopefully before slamming his hammer down and bowing before her, "I pledge my hammer to the cause! I vow to do all within my power to aid you in the salvation of your sister!"

Ceres wrapped her arms around herself, the dress was a wee bit transparent at the moment and a wind had started.
CoCo jumped when Thor slammed his hammer down and hissed, having just fallen asleep.

She blushed once more, "I... I appericate the help but... I wish you'd stop... treating me so... honorably. >///>"

"But it is who you are" Thor replied, looking up at her, "You are the most noble being ever to exist. Never have I met a creature that is more deserving of honour and respect." he bowed his head, "All of Azgard's beauty and power are nothing but mere specks of dust when compared to thy glory. It is my duty, as the son of Odin, to be an expression of all Azgard's gratitude towards you an your wondrous kind. Surely all of the known planets and realms, even Azgard itself, would be nothing without you."

CoCo wrapped himself around her once more and she returned to her normal teacher outfit.

Celestse placed a hand on his shoulder, "Araise, noble warrior. I'm merely not use to such flattery. Especially from such a fine example of godhood as yourself."

Thor stood, towering over her again with his height, "Surely from what you have told me, your human family is aware of who you are?" he asked, "how can they possibly treat you any differently from what you deserve?"

"Oh.um. Well.." She stared up at him, "They do treat me very well. I just meant that Im not use to being..."She looked back upat him and her eyes locked with his. " to... Having someone _outside_the family... Treat me like you do.." Her heart was racing as she took a step closer to him.

Thor blinked, "... well, perhaps if you actually allowed others to know your true self, they would be wiser."

She paused and took a step back," Maybe..." She coughed, " We should get bac-" she started, her heel slipping as she fell backwards.
