"Yeaaahhh... About that." She looked down at the sleeping bundle in her arms, "Loki turned him into a child."

Charles looked at the child in surprise, "You have been busy."

She set Eric down on a bed and let the nurse look after him while she went and grabbed an icepack from the small freezer. "Have I mentioned I misssssed yooou" She put on some big puppy dog eyes, "I had to fill out so much paperwork and interviews and deal with Director Fury!.... Max here's been having a hard time. He was an older gentleman when Loki turned him..."

"I see" Charles nodded, "So there have been gods using our playground, that's a new one."

"Yes... and what's worst is that... Loki found out about... you know." She looked down at her chest. "Which is why Thor is still here... >>"

"I see" Charles thought a moment, "Are you alright though? That looked terribly uncomfortable"

Celeste's face turned to one that was rather unimpressed, "I'll manage. It's certainly the first time I've been held up by my rib cage.. But what on earth was he thinking? Flailing us about like that. Such a ridious thing to do." She was of course, refering to Thor.

"And after I asked such a silly question of him..."
"Meow..." CoCo jumped through the window and went right up to Charles, rubbing against his pant leg happily.

Charles knelt and gave Coco some love, "He isn't really the type of person to think things through, at least that's the impression I get from him. What did you ask of him?"

CoCo purred, turned small and leapt onto Charles' shoulder, rubbing his head against Charles' cheek.

Celeste blushed, "It's nothing. It was a silly thing to ask of him.

"Meow." CoCo replied.
"Oh don't give me that, little mister."

Charles seemed intrigued, "Is there something going on between you and Thor that I should know about?" he scratched the cat's ears.

She crossed her arms, "No...Anyways, I think I'll head home for the day."

"Very well." Charles nodded, "Have a good night. I'll see you in the morning"

"Come on CoCo...."

The cat almost pouted then hopped over to her shoulder and started meowing.

"Meow meowmeowmeoooow" (My oh my, looks like the girls to shy-)

"Stop that."

On her way back home, Thor was waiting along the path.

Celeste felt a knot turn in her stomach. She had been hoping he would have been helping the rest of them clean up, giving her enough time to flee... And possibly go down the hill to the pub to drink a little bit.

"T-Thor." She waved weakly, "Shouldn't you be umm.... back at the school?"

"if you would permit me M'lady" Thor replied, "I would like to speak with you"

"Very well... sure. CoCo, you want to run along?"

"M..meow." CoCo looked at Thor then Celeste and headed down the path.

Thor nodded gratefully, "I wish to speak to you about earlier when you... um... asked me... I meant you no disrespect, I simply was uncertain how to respond-and then my hammer alerted me to the trouble and..." he rubbed the back of his head a little awkwardly as they walked. He stopped and turned to face her, "You are a beautiful woman, a great warrior and a noble being. I apologize for my inconsiderate behavior. Please understand, there is... there is someone else who has caught my eye-and while she is by no means a comparison to your greatness, she has awoken something in me." he found himself smiling, "I wish to preserve that, but I also do not wish to disappoint you m'lady" he hesitated, obviously feeling caught in a troubling situation. He really did not want to turn down any request from Celeste.

Celeste put up a hand, "It's alright, Thor. Don't worry about it. It was a sort of in the moment sort of request... I'm just not use to men being soo...charming and interested in me. I've sent a great deal of my life on the family estate so I'm not all use to social interactions of that... matter. I hope everything works out for you two. Just try to think a little bit before acting. You were giving me mixed signals."

Thor blinked, "I was?" he asked obliviously, "I was only trying to assure that you were well taken care of." he bowed his head, "I apologize! I will do better!"

"Thank you, for being so understandin-" She moaned a little bit, rubbing her chest, "-Standing. Now if you'll excuse me. I have a drink at the pub with my name on it..."

Thor lit up a little, "A drink! What a wonderful idea! Would you mind if I joined you?"

"Only if you buy me one." She punched his arm, "It freakin hurt when you threw Max and I around."

"Again, my apologies" Thor nodded, holding up a golden credit card, "Director Fury gave me this for when I visit. I am told it makes mead and beer appear"

Celeste almost grinned, "Fury eh?..." She wrapped an arm around his, "Then what are we waiting for?" And she lead the way to the small pub.
