Thor smiled and soon they were drinking and having a grand ol' time.

((I haven't decided what to do with Loki yet... I'm thinking more about eric. Also, I think that Ciara and Horatio should have come with Charles to the school.))

When Eric awoke, he would be most surprised to find a familiar face looking down at him.

"D'awww... who has the cutest little cheeks?" Ciara's voice rang in his ear as she poked his cheeks.

"mmmnnn..." Eric groaned, his head was aching. "cease..." he demanded, waving his hand wearily to swat her away and accidentally sent the bed on the other side of the room crashing into the ceiling and back to the floor. The noise startled him awake and a some of the other beds went screeching a few feet away as he sat up sharply. "Ciara? what?"

Ciara covered her head and waited for beds to stop moving. She looked up and over to the door frame, "I told you it was him." She called. "He's awake now." She turned back, "How you feeling, Little Hobbit sized Maxie?" She smiled warmly, giving him a hug.

"My head is pounding" Eric admitted, looking over as Horatio made his way slowly into the room, "What are you two doing here?"

"I come visit here every once in awhile. And I dragged Horatio along cause he's been hiding in his room for weeks."

"I do not see the need to leave" Horatio replied grumpily, "I do not see anything, so what is the point in going anywhere?"

Eric raised a brow, "That's a healthy attitude" he commented sarcastically, then paused and looked back at Ciara, "wait, so you've known about this place? Why did you never tell me?!"

"I told you, Nathan's working on something for that...Papa..." She stood up and changed her posture and face to mimic his, "They will never learn- But Papa if they went to a school- A school full of hate and evil But if we can trust- Trust them to betray us! ... Need I go on?"

Eric shifted awkwardly, "I suppose I have been... difficult in the past... but still. You could have brought me here... or... I don't know" he sighed, massaging his temples, his headache was getting worse, "I uh... Thank you for... for being a reference."

"If I brought you here, you would have turned the school upside down trying to figure out where the evil lab was that was making everyone like each other was... Are you ok? Do you want some water?" She asked, picking up the glass.

"Yeah-water" he nodded, there was more screeching as the other beds skidded across the room. Horatio startled as one of them tripped him. "sorry!" Eric cringed, "looks like I'm getting my powers back at least.... I just don't remember them being so... viscous..." a drop of blood trickled from his nose.

Ciara went and helped Horatio up and over to some place safe before grabbing a cloth to wipe the blood from his nose. "You were malnutritioned, under weight and under a great deal of stress and pressure. Your body must have turned them off due to all that..." She stated looking him over. "CHARLES!" She yelled. Where was that man? Eric needed someone to guide him to use his powers before he hurt himself.

"Charles?" Eric asked, "what would he be doing here?"

"There's more to it than that" Horatio commented, "This has happened before-well sort of. We came to the same place a different way obviously. The problem is a combination of the cure fighting for control in his system and the aging magic they've been trying to work on him. The solution is far more complicated."

Ciara smiled, giving Eric some pain killers, "Who do you think the headmaster is?"

Eric took the pills, swallowed some water and laid his head back on the pillow, "I suppose that's just like him... little fu-" he cut off into a yelp of pain as his head throbbed. The metal frame of his bed began to curl around the mattress, twisting and becoming very distorted.

Ciara leapt on top of Eric and wrapped her arms around him protectively while a bubble of water surrounded them.... Leaving a rather large hole in the water pipe in the wall.

"I've got you..." She whispered softly, her motherly nature taking over.

"I can't... make it stop" Eric whimpered, holding his head and curling up in Ciara's arms, "make it stop..."

"It's only going to get worse" Horatio commented, "and quite frankly, I'm not sure what to do. I don't have my powers to age him through this."

A few minutes later Charles came rushing into the room, "Ciara! What's going on?!" he panted, "I was on the other side of campus"

"Eric. You need to stay calm... Try picturing your powers as a room and I want you to close the door to that room... Can you do that?" She heard Charles's voice," He needs help! He can't turn it off." The mattress had wrapped around them like a taco. Ciara was using all her might to keep it from curling any further.

Charles tried to move closer but the other beds were getting defensive and becoming obstacles, Horatio had pulled himself into a corner and wasn't moving in hopes that nothing would come his way.

"Eric!" Charles called, unable to get much close than the entrance to the room, "Breathe, do as Ciara says. I'm going to try and help"

Eric shut his eyes tight, trying so hard to focus. With Charles' help the metal seemed to calm somewhat but it was still not enough. Finally the telepath had no choice and he forced Eric's mind to shut down.
Eric's eyes rolled back as he passed out and fell limp in Ciara's arms. The rest of the metal clattered to the ground.

"This is not good" Charles frowned, finally able to come closer, "It's beyond controllable... I've never seen him like this..."

Ciara forced the bed back in place and held Eric. "Papa.... What do we do Charlie? We have to help him!"

"I'm not sure" Charles replied, "Back in the day I would lock his powers away until he could control them... but Eric is well learned as to how to control his powers... and that tactic has a tenancy to not work out well."

"Do you even listen to me anymore?!" Horatio snapped, "You drag me all the way out here and I get shoved in a corner. THIS is why I don't leave my room!"

Ciara set Eric down on the bed and tucked him in, "Best keep him under for now... Till we can figure out what to do." She walked over to Horatio and pulled him to his feet, brushing him off. "You're just grumpy cause you're hungry and don't like social interactions. Did I ever tell you, this school has the best broccoli and cheddar soup?"

"I'll take care of it" Charles nodded, taking Eric's hand for a moment and sighing, "what will I do with you old friend..."

Horatio shrugged ciara off and took out his walking stick, "I'm fine." he stated, "and for the record, I'm not just talking out of my ass here. I've seen this happen before. First few times I ignored it and you know what happens? He dies, every time. The cure and his mutant gene duke it out until his body finally gives up because it can't take the stress."

"Ok. I believe you. This is something that needs our full attention...But you're also being a big grump. "

Horatio sighed, toying with one of his dreadlocks, "I... sorry." he finally stated grumpily, "lets get some food..."
