"Probably has something to do with all the magic and chemical warfare going on inside you... But I can relate. I didn't always have such control over my own powers." She looked down at her hands, "It wasn't till I got my familiar that I was able to fully ground my powers."

"I'm not sure you've really explained to me what's going on with you" Max pointed out, "Why your chest was suddenly magnetically drawn to me, why your family is so... different. What exactly are you?"

"Well, umm... You see...We're a magic based family. And-"

"Oh simply tell the man." Came a rather sophisticated sounding voice from a rather familiar cat.
"You know I'm suppose to keep this under wraps-"
"Your souls are wrapped around one another... he can hear me and see me." He stated, his form changing into a large rose coloured spirit like cat before sitting down beside her.

"Max. Eric. This is-"
"Colin Cormac. Or"
"CoCo for short." Celeste introduced.

Max looked at the cat, then back at Celeste, "So you are that person I saw back in New York."

"Well Um-" Celeste began. The Cat who was much taller than either of them, rolled his eyes and smacked her on the back. Her clothes burst into little pink bubbles and in an instance she was wearing a long flowing dress, her hair the colour of cotton candy and the mark upon her chest now visible.
"Um..yes." She blushed, looking down. "I wasn't sure if you were an enemy or not so I didn't tell you..."

"I understand" Max nodded, "and by no means do you have to explain everything to me now, I'm just curious to learn more about you."

She nodded and blushed a little, "I'm not use to people being so curious about me... But this is why I stuck to you." She pointed out the piece on her chest. "It's infused into my rib cage. It's a very unique type of metal but I've never had it become magnetized before."

"Fascinating" Max looked it with curiosity, "That certainly took us both by surprise"

"Yes. It certainly did. Really hurt. Especially when Thor started throwing us around."

"Why on earth would anyone do that?!" he exclaimed, "I felt like a rag doll covered in metal. it was horrible."

"Apparently he doesn't think before acting." She stated sitting down on the grass. "I had NO idea he was going to throw you ><"

"No worries" he shrugged, "I've been through the upper atmosphere before, I know how to handle it-for short periods of time anyway." he sat next to her.

CoCo flomped down behind them giving them a nice pillow to lean against.

"I'm glad you were ok tho. That really took me by surprise."

"I've been through worse" he shrugged, "the rise and fall of Hannah Montana, children having iPhones, the holocaust. It's all sort of lumped together" he chuckled.

Celeste couldn't help but actually let out a fit of laughter. It had been quite awhile since she'd laughed so honestly. " That and Justin Beaver. If I hear one of his songs one more time."

"Is that the boy with the really low jeans that looks like a girl?" Max asked, "I think we had his image banned from schools in Genosha."

She laughed again, "Yes that would be the one. He's the new Justin Timberlake of this generation. "

"Okay, now which one was Justin Timberlake?" he asked uncertainly, "was that backyard boys or spicey... something...?"

"N'Sync. They were the boy band that rivaled the Backstreet boys."

"ooohhh... um, kay" Max replied, he had no idea who N'sync was.

"They're like Backstreet boys but they sang songs like... "bye bye bye" and "I drive myself crazy"..." She noted the look on his face. "Here." She sat up and cleared her throat, holding her hands in a very proper choir pose.

"Hmm, doesn't sound so bad coming from you, perhaps I should look them up?" Max wondered aloud.

She blushed again and smiled, "I sing it a bit differently. It's good to look them up to figure out the pop culture but now that I'm older and I listen to them again. I can't help but notice all the innuendos and 'boy meets girl' type songs they sung."

"It certainly seems like that's all the kids are listening to these days" Eric sighed, "since when was humping each other a dance move?"

"I.DON'T.KNOW." She exclaimed. A couple of teachers who use to work at the school took me dancing one night and I couldn't believe amount of humping going on." She blushed just thinking about it. "I just went to dance around to some music... My respect for those ladies was never redeemed."
