When Horatio woke up the next morning, Ceres was making pancakes and Polly was nowhere to be found. "Do I did the pitter patter of Time Lord feet?" She asked while she was pouring some more batter into the pan.

"mmmmggg...." Horatio groaned, stumbling into the room and quickly locating a seat, "Was I drugged last night?"

"No... but you were showing some rather unusual symptoms. Polly and I had the same weird dream and went to check on you." Ceres placed a plate in front of Horatio with two large, warm pancakes on it. "I've never seen anything like it... Your eyes were blue and pink..."

Horatio blinked, "... I'm told they are normally gold or silver, depending on the use of my... previous abilities." he sniffed and touched the plate, "As delicious as this smells, I'm afraid I'm not terribly hungry..."

Ceres pouted, pulling the plate over to herself, "Well that's alright. You seemed to suck the life force out of Polly and I last night. Probably why you're not so hungry."

"I did?" Horatio sounded concerned, "are you alright? I don't remember anything like that..."

"Just a little winded and very very hungry." She munched down a pancake before going back to the stove to flip the next pancake." No worries tho. Polly and I think that because you've made contact with us, your soul gem is reacting, trying to reach out to you... where ever it is and making you unstable. Polly went in search of Juno early this morning." Ceres looked out the window, Max was suppose to have breakfast with them this morning. Where are earth was that man? There were IMPORTANT PANCAKES TO BE EATEN here.

"Should she have gone alone?" Horatio frowned, "I thought she was dangerous"

"Polly can handle herself. She's quite the wonder woman of Shield.... She didn't go far. Went to call in some favors."

"... okay" Horatio sighed, "you know, if I had my powers I could sort this out in under a minute"

"I know you could." Ceres walked back over, placed her hands on his shoulders and kissed his head. "And we'll soon have you back and kicking time in the face in no time. I'll be right back." Ceres went out into the backyard and threw her slipper at Max's window. "OI. Hobbit. How dare you keep a wizard waiting!" She called

After a moment Max opened his window to look down at her, "A wizard is never late, he arrives exactly when he means to... especially when his son is tearing through his wardrobe, throwing out all the clothes he doesn't approve of -_-" he sighed, grabbing a shirt as it went soaring out the window next to him, "What's wrong with this one?!" he demanded, looking back in the room.

"Are you serious?" Pietro's voice replied, "That shade is awful for your complexion"

"I wear purple all the time-YOU put me in purple, ALL THE TIME"

"Not that shade of purple. It's hideous dad. I'll make you a new one"

Max looked back down at Ceres, "Evidently all of you and the students kind additions to my wardrobe, are not up to standard"

"Don't get me wrong" Pietro appeared in the window, "I appreciate you not letting him run around naked-but really?" he held up the hobbit costume, "The stitching is atrocious!"

Max grabbed it from him, "Hey! You aren't touching that one! They put a lot of work into that!"

A rather upsetting face fell upon Ceres' face, "But I thought he looked rather dashing in the purple one... That's why I bought it for him..." She said, a little disappointment in her voice. She shook her head, a smile returning to her face"There's plenty of pancakes waiting to be eaten. Would you care to join us as well Pietro?"

"If by plenty you mean enough to feed an army, then he might join" Max commented, glancing around before going to hide the purple shirt somewhere away from his rampaging son.

"Sounds great! I'm just finishing up here-done!" Pietro proclaimed before grabbing his father and speeding out in a moment to meet Ceres, "I love pancakes!"

"Well that's good because there's plenty of pancakes to be had." She smiled, "I seem to have made too much batter... I tried doubling the recipe but ended up tripling or something. >.<" She opened the screen door, "Horatio! Max and Pietro are here for pancakes <3"

"Hi-I don't feel very well" Horatio replied, still sitting at the table with his head rested on it.

"Well keep it away from the pancakes" Pietro suggested.

Ceres walked over and knelt down, a hand on his shoulder, "You want to lay down? Headache? upset Stomach?" She asked

"I can't place it..." Horatio replied, "it's like... my energy's just fading..."

"You should talk to my buddy Iron Fist" Pietro commented, already scarfing down some pancakes, "I met him on my little tour around the world. He knows all about energies and stuff. Cool guy."

"Ah, you've met the King of K'un-L'un. Yes, he might have a better idea of what's happening to you... Here does this help?" She took his hand and placed it on her gem.

There was a faint glow but after a moment Horatio shook his head and pulled his hand away, "Not really..."

"I'll go find him after breakfast" Pietro nodded

"Thank you Pietro. If you mention Ceres sent you, he won't ask several questions." She smiled up at Pietro. "I wish Father wasn't away on a different plain...." She went over to the phone after flipping a pancake and putting the fresh ones on Pietro's plate.

She dialed a number and headed into the other room. After a few mins she came back, "Pietro, could you also take a detour for me? I need you to go to this shrine." She wrote down directions on a piece of paper. "They'll have a package ready for you. It's very important that it gets here in one piece."

Pietro swallowed the fresh pancakes almost instantly, "Uhh sure" he took the directions, giving them a glance over and shrugged.

"... you aren't even going to ask what it is?" Horatio questioned.

"Years of working for this guy" Pietro pointed a thumb at his dad, "Don't ask questions"

Ceres sat down, "He'll be picking up Vesta." She put bluntly, rubbing Horatio's back softly.

"Are you sure that just one person is safe enough to do that?" Horatio asked, still rather concerned.

"Fastest person on the planet, heck yeah" Pietro scoffed, "Don't tell Flash or Kid Flash I said that. Last time we tried to have a race we kind of started a tsunami and we promised to leave it at a draw-even though I was clearly winning!"

"No one will expect her soul gem to be moved. And after last night and how you're feeling today, I don't want to take a chance. If touching her soul gem stabilizes you long enough to find Juno, then it's a risk we need to take."
