Thor's friends looked at him with disapproval but Loki just held up his bound hands, "if I was going to do anything, I would have done so already."

"Very well" Thor sighed, "We will be right over here." he nodded to his friends to leave them alone.

She nodded and walked over to Loki, "We... we kinda got interrupted back there...I just wanted to say... that..." She felt rather shy suddenly. "That I.."

"It's alright" Loki replied, touching his forehead to hers as he gave her a smile, "I know"

She smiled back, "K... If... what I do doesn't help, I won't mind staying in Asgard." Thought a little voice in her head spoke, 'But if you're playing me, I'll take back everything I tell your father.' She wasn't stupid. But she couldn't change the way she was feeling either.

Loki shook his head, "No, I mean sure the place is nice-they'd probably give you my old room, but they'd put you in another cage, just of different design. Freedom is the most valuable magic there is. If you really want to do me a favour, then promise me you'll keep it"

" It won't be so bad. No shield, no rules. It'd be like a cage with the door open. I don't know if I could leave you..."

he sighed, lifting his hands over her head to give her a hug and a kiss on the forehead, "People come and people go my little goddess" he tended to call her that partly as a joke between them, "Sometimes all you can do is watch them leave."

"We'll figure that out if the time comes." She smiled lightly, kissing his cheek just beside his lips. Ceres would grow old and die. And if she did stay with him... She would have to leave sooner or later.

Loki let her go after that and the rather disbelieving asgardians stepped forward to take Loki and Ceres off to Asgard.

When they arrived it was every bit as beautiful as Loki had described and then more so. It was a shame that they had come under such unfortunate circumstances because normally whenever they came to a new place they would spend days exploring all the grand sights and then days more after that just having fun.

As it was, Loki was immediately escorted to the dungeons and despite the countless looks of hatred he received along the way, he kept his head held high. And there were many, many a loathing gaze for nearly everyone in the guard had known someone lost to the war that Loki had instilled. All the same, the mischievous god had been raised as a prince and even in chains it showed.

Just before the dungeons, Thor gestured for Ceres to come another way. "You needn't see him all the way down there" he insisted.

Ceres would have looked in awe more at the wonder that was Asgard but felt rather nervous as they made their way to the palace. Coco had turned himself into a cloak and even covered in a cloak she felt the negativity in the air. She almost felt ashamed and stayed close to Thor and Loki.

When Thor gestured her to come another way she felt rather uncertain. She was not familiar with their laws, "Are you sure?" She asked softly, looked from Thor to Loki.

"My sweet brother is trying to avoid having all the degenerates ogle you" Loki commented, "for once he has a point"

"O-Ok." She nodded, "I'll come visit later... if they let me." She said, hopeful.

Loki gave a slight smile and a nod, though it was clear on his face what he was thinking. 'if they let you? and here I thought I was one being caged'.

Thor lead Ceres away though since he had to go speak to his father it was more up to Sev to show her around.

Ceres was overwhelmed with the beauty of it all and part way through walking through one of the palace's gardens she spoke, "Siv, I must apologize for how I behaved earlier today. I meant no disrespect to you and your asgardian friends. But Thor always seems to jump to conclusions when I'm involved. I know he means well but after he's broken several of my doors I've gotten a bit...annoyed at him for it." She said, watching CoCo run ahead of them.

Siv couldn't help but smile at that, "only a few doors?" she asked, "My, he has come a long way. There was once a day where all he dreamed of was the glory of battle and all the nine realms knew it. Now he thinks much more before he acts."

Ceres couldn't help but chuckle lightly, "Ah. Well at least he's trying... He burst through my window more than my door though."

"I remember as children, he heard a friend call out in fear over nothing more than a bad dream and Thor struck down half the block to save her"

Ceres couldn't help but laugh fully, "That's Thor for sure."

she reminisced, "Loki spent a good while after that, imitating her screams through the halls here and there. Thor just about went mad and lord Odin had to get involved to keep them from tearing up the other half of the city." she laughed.

Ceres laughed along with her but turned her attention to Coco after a moment, "Coco, don't eat that plant, you'll have a stomach ache for a week." Coco spat out the white flower, ears down and jumped up into her arms.

They ended up standing on a balcony that overlooked the grand city of Asgard and Siv let out a sigh, "I miss those days... I think we all do. Loki may have been a trouble maker but he was still a friend." she looked sadly below, "but now... I'm not sure you understand how he hurt us."

"The wounds he cut are deep. I can tell from our arrive how he has hurt his people. I won't deny it. He has done you all wrong. Scars that may never fully heal... But I can also see from his side how he felt betrayed and why he chose that road.... He should pay for his actions, I agree but..." She trailed off, resting her forearms against the railing. She sighed.

"I warn you, be wary of his sweet words" Siv cautioned, "He has created friendships with others before, ones that lasted far more than a few mere weeks, only to dash them on the rocks when his needs are met. Even if it were months or years, remember that to an Asgardian that is still nothing more than a blink, a moment passed and easily forgotten. Do not be quick to open your arms to a venomous snake."

"I will hed your words for they reflect upon those I've thought over and over in my head," She admitted. "If Oden indeed listens to my counsel and Loki becomes the venus fly trap everyone describes him as... then I will make it very clear that any deal I make for him will be forfeited in full."

Celeste had her doubts about Loki but then there were moments where, he seems truly happy. No amount of charm and lying could cover that look in a truly happy man's eyes.

They were resting on a hill side. Loki had his eyes closed, lounging back as the breeze blew through his hair.
"How do you even wear this thing? All the weight is in the front." Ceres asked holding his helmet in her hands
Loki chuckled as he opened one eye and saw her try to put it on and it fell forward.
"Only a god filled with pride can wield such a helmet." He said casually. "You, my little goddess, won't be able too." He teased.
Ceres stood up and towered over him and began to act as Loki does, "You dare question my greatness? You, a god of asgard are nothing compared to my greatness, air particles part when I move, the earth trembles at the mere sight of my shoe..." She went on and by the end of it, Loki was laughing very hard, tears forming in his eyes. And Ceres was also laughing as well and when she had finished Loki was looking at her with a look on his face.

"What? Is there something on my face?"
"Other than perfection... no." He worded almost sexyfully.

Siv merely nodded, it was good to hear those words but her concern was still plain on her face. There was the odd time here and there were they had no other choice but to request Loki's help and while he did aid them he always found a way to trick them as well. The matter was troubling to say the least.

"Well, he must at least know that it is not in his best interest to deceive one such as you." she decided, "It is an interesting notion to think that the mortals of Midgard see us as gods, when it is them in fact that walk unknowningly among our creators."
