Pietro had at least three plates before she asked, "hm? oh uummm.... right. Just that you should probably talk to Iron Fist yourself. I didn't understand half the stuff he said."

"Ah." Yes, Iron Fist had a way with words and this matter was not in a field Pietro was familiar with. "I'll be sure to talk to him. More wine?" She asked kindly. Being in the capital rather relaxed Ceres. All the magic the place gave off. But with Loki she was still worried.

"I'd better not" Pietro shook his head, "You know what they say about drinking and driving? Drinking and super speed are sometimes worse."

"Of course." She picked up a different pitcher and poured him some water. "Ciara never forgive me if you ended up running through a mountain instead of going over it."

He laughed at that, "Thank you, this has been wonderful. And hot damn I got to meet Loki." he chuckled, taking a gulp of water, "My job takes me to wonderful places."

"You're more than welcome." She smiled warmly, "I had a feeling you won't be able to stay away when I mentioned the client."

"It's friggin Loki" Pietro exclaimed, "Pleeaaase tell me this isn't a secret. I've got to put it on my resume."

"A secret for now. When Loki's feeling better I'm sure you can put it on then."

"Awww, well okay" He pouted but he understood. "Alright, it's been great but I've run. You see there's this super huge and ultra secret commission I'm working on and I'd hate to disappoint"

She chuckled, "Alright. I won't keep you from your work. Thank you again,"She bowed before heading back to Loki's room.
"Loki, would come walk with me?" She'd managed to get Loki to come out of his room on walks, the last couple of days. The fresh air and sunlight would do him some good.

Something about Pietro's visit seemed to have made a slight difference on him, he didn't hesitate as long to answer anyway, "Certainly." he agreed, joining Ceres on a nice walk.

While they were out however, the demoted god did catch sight of the helicarrier in the distance and a frown adorned his face once more, "Isn't that...?"

"Unfortunately," Ceres said grimly, "Don't worry. They cannot enter the city. Actually they're forbidden from entering. As long as you stay here, they can not touch you."

"Oh how wonderful" Loki commented sarcastically, "And here I thought I at least had a whole planet."

"There's more than one way to leave this place then the front door." She reassured him, "You just need to know where to look."

A look of intrigue crossed his face. Secrets, he loved secrets, it sparked something in his eyes, "Do tell."

"A.Ah.ah." She wiggled her finger. "Only if you catch me." She said, smiling widely, running a few paces ahead of him. "Can't make it easy for you can I?"

Loki frowned a little, he didn't sound very much into the game, "I don't think-you can outrun me" he switched suddenly, taking off after her.

"Ah!" She laughed dodging left off the path and down the hill.

She was infectious, he couldn't help it but for a few moments at least he managed to forget his problems. Until he tried snapping his fingers to appear in front of her and then felt like a complete moron for evening trying.

Ceres hid behind a very thin tree, and wiggled back and forth, putting a hand to her mouth, "He'll never find me here." She said laughing lightly. Trying to keep his focus on the task at hand.

It had been a good try, but he actually wasn't feeling it anymore, "Come now Ceres" he called to her, "Are you going to show me or not?"

She pouted and walked, defeated back over to him. Where she took his arm and wrapped it around her shoulders, "Oh no, you got me..." She said in a very light tone. "Come on, I'll show you some pretty cool places."

Loki sighed and looked down at her, "I do see what you are trying to do" he commented, "and I thank you for it, but it is not necessary"

"Uh huh, sure it's not necessary." She said. "Hey, I got a whole 4 sentences out of you doing this." she said warmly, leading him further down the hill.

Loki rolled his eyes but a hint of a grin tugged at his lips.
