"..." Ceres shuffled her feet back and forth, "M-Maybe..."

Thor sighed and bowed his head, "I apologize for the behaviour of my brother, clearly this is his doing and I shall deal with him accordingly."

"So... nothing's wrong with me?" She asked, rather happy at the thought of that.
Polly shook her head, "Loki tricked you and that's what you got out of this?" She rubbed Ceres' head.
"Well... I also promised Ordin Loki would regret ever doing me wrong. Bwa ha ha ha" A dark cloud seemed to form behind her as she began to think of things to punish him with. Even if it wasn't his plan, she did enjoy her vacation away from everything and all the freedom and fun.

"Well as good as it is to know there's nothing wrong with you" Coleson commented, "May said we'd be approaching the island soon so everyone get ready."

Soon they were trying to land.

~Meanwhile else where~....

From the moment Ceres had walked off to meet Coleson, Loki had taken off elsewhere, diving into the cool water to reenter the spirit sanctuary.

The spirits weren't as forth coming as they had been the last time Loki had been to the sanctuary. Several saw him and shyed away. Several others ran and hid. They knew Ceres well. Trusted her and if she was with another, they would give them the benifit of the dougt. But Loki was alone, this changed things.

The whole feel of the island was darker, as if the spirits were puffing out their fur defensively.

Noting this almost immediately, Loki sat cross-legged on the shore. Some things, regardless of how much time you had, could simply not be rushed. He stayed there for several hours, merely meditating and giving off an aura of peace. He would not approach any of them, leaving it up to the spirits to chose if he was worthy of their presence.

It was more of a hopeful attempt really, from what he did know of the spirits and their world, he would have to be as honest as possible. A fake smile, however convincing would be more obvious to them than any other. Loki knew when to be bold, and when to be humble and now was a time for humility and as much honesty as he could afford to give.

"My, My. When the spirits called me, I would not have believed them." Standing a bit off was a woman, dressed in a black and white flowing dress and a red paper umbrella twirling in her hand. She had long black silk like hair and her limbs seemed to go on and on.

She was a stunning woman but her red eyes told those who gazed upon her to be wise what they say. "Tell me, Prince of Asgard... tell me your wish."

Loki opened his eyes as he heard the voice, he had begun to wonder if any of them would speak to him. He got to his feet, careful not to make any sudden movements as he bowed towards her, "Thank you for coming to speak with me" he began, "Might I inquire as to your name?"

"You may call me The Dimension Witch. Normally, I don't do island calls but this little guy seemed quite intent on helping you." She said brushing her hair to the side as a little spirit peeked out from around her foot. It was the same little guy who had invited him to the bonfire.

Loki smiled upon seeing the little one, "Thank you" he nodded to small spirit, "I am afraid to say that I am a little lost. I have never been without magic before, it is more difficult than I would have thought."

"Yes, a piece of yourself was taken from you. I can see that. But that was the price you had to pay for your freedom. All things come with a price. Now I have told you my name, perhaps you would..."

"My apologies" he bowed again, "I am Loki of Asgaurd, raised by Frigg and Odin. It is an honour to meet you Dimension Witch"

She curised and bowed her head, "The honour is mine. Now, tell me Loki, son of Odin. You have a wish that you would like granted. I can grant your wish but know that all things come for a price."

"Might I inquire as to what the price might be?" he asked.

"Depends... what is your wish? The weight of the wish must be the same weight as what you must pay"

Loki thought about it for a moment, he could ask for all of his magic, but that was a pretty big favor. Perhaps if he could just make it those few thousand years until he had the chance to get his magic back from Odin...
"One spell" he decided, "To be undetectable, invisible."

She closed her eyes and turned, weighting the price in her mind. "To be invisible forever or a sort time?

"A short amount of time." Loki replied, "twenty minutes would do"

"Very well..." She turned to him and looked at his skin, "When you return through the portal, throw your jacket into the pond. It was made with hard work and you seem to have taken a liking to it. I will take it as payment. Once you do this, say your name once. The next time someone says your name in front of you, is when you will no longer be invisible." She explained clearly.

He did like his jacket, a lot actually. Pietro had done a better job than half the people on Asgard could do but it was worth it. He had to get out of there before Ceres returned. "Thank you." he bowed, "I will do so..." he hesitated, "Out of curiosity, how much would it cost to get all of my magic back?"

She looked at him grimly, having started to turn to leave, "That my dear prince is a price you cannot pay. Or should I say you would be willing to pay. A part of yourself was taken, a part of who you are... Therefore the price must be equal...The price would be your mind." She said as a strong wind whistled through the trees.

His mind? his mind? Loki took half a step a back, the mere thought of paying such a price was beyond reasonable. Knowledge is power and while he felt naked without his magic he would no longer be himself without his mind. That was the one thing Odin could never take from him.

The demoted god swallowed and cleared his throat a little, "I see... Well... thank you Dimension Witch. You are as gracious as you are beautiful" The idea of losing his own mind had instinctively made a little defensive and thus his silver tongue was beginning to kick in again, despite his attempts thus far to be as open and honest as possible. "One spell will be enough, the rest I will find my own path towards."

The witch smiled sweetly at the compliment, "You're welcome. You wish shall be granted, upon your payment. Remember, everything has a price in this life...." She looked down at the little spirit, "Now, I believe you said something about sake?" She picked him up and walked away.
