"Mm <3" Violet said, "Oh, ok. I just thought it's pretty strange looking-"
Ceres slipped her hand into Violet's other hand, "That's ok. I got what you were trying to say." She held her other hand out for Eric to take. "Come with me and you'll see...a wooooooooorld of pure-"
"Imagination" Violet finished the lyric and they both chuckled.

Eric rolled his eyes, "I'll never understand your obsession with disney" he commented, taking her hand.

"Ready when you are dear" Charles nodded to Violet.

"Actually that one was done by Paramount Pictures." Ceres corrected.

"Right, here we go." Violet closed her eyes and when she opened them again, they were glowing.

Slowly the world began to fade slightly as figures appeared all over the place.

"Ta-da." Violet said.

"Incredible."

Eric blinked, looking around curiously, "There are so many..."

"I suppose so many people have died over the years..." Violet said.

Ceres had grown silent as she looked around. Could this be...

One of the ghosts stopped what he was doing and turned toward them. Another had been running and stopped to stare. One by one they all stopped and stared. Ever the ones in the far off distance seemed to stop.

Ceres felt her stomach sink, "Ummm... Violet? Does this normally happen?"

"...No, I've never seen them all-" Violet tried to let go of Ceres' hand and walk forward, "Celeste, could you let go of my hand?"
"I...I can't." Celeste said panicking. It was like their hands were glued together. Seconds later her soul gem began to react to something. "Violet. Turn it off... Turn off your power." The ghosts began to gather around them, forming a circle.

"Something's wrong. I can't." Violet looked at Charles, confused beyond belief.

It was pretty clear right away that Violet was not the one with the problem but rather Ceres was keeping them there so Charles turned his attention to her immediately. "Ceres" He spoke firmly, both verbally and in her mind so that his voice seemed to echo and call her focus over to him, "Breathe. Everything will be alright, just breathe and relax."

The figures began to all point and whisper, "Here...."

"Calm? Calm? How can I be calm?" It was very clear to Ceres that Violet's power involved shifted through the layers of the world. Onto the layer where everyone's soul went and waited to move on to the next. And now they all had spotted her, like a beacon. If true father noticed...

"By casting aside your fear and focusing on us. We are here to help but first you must breathe Ceres" Charles insisted, meanwhile he started using his powers to see if he could force Violet to shut off her powers.

"I am breathing!" She insisted. It was no use, she was too wond up. And Violet didn't seem to have any control of her powers.

Knock her out or have Eric kiss her?

Finally Charles had no choice, he knocked Ceres out with a mental kick.

The faded world didn't vanish right away. Ceres fell back into Eric and very slowly, the world began to return. But as it did so, a turquoise rainbow tilted outline of a door appeared and a man walked through it. The ghosts made a part in the circle so the group of them could see it appear. The door was far off from them but they could hear his thunderous voice, "CERES!"

The three who remained awake did not know this man, but his voice sent chills down their spines. Like he was a man not to mess with.

Eric lay her down on the grass as they came back to their own plane of existence, "What on earth was that?" he questioned.

"I'm not too sure" Charles admitted, "But I doubt it was good. Come, bring her inside"

As soon as they got inside her gem finished fading back to normal.

"That's never happened before. I mean, one or two of them might stop me and ask for help but..." Violet wrapped her arms around herself as they went inside.

"What happened?" Horatio was suddenly standing in their way.

"I-I dunno." Violet was very distraught. "Ceres wanted me to show her my powers and when I did, I couln't turn it off and... and her chest started to glow... Is that normal?" She looked toward Eric. Not having been informed of her whole creator of the universe title.

"She was distressed" Horatio frowned as Eric placed Ceres on the couch and suddenly the time reaper was next to his sister, he placed a hand on her gem, "what set you off?"

Violet looked worried, "Is she going to be ok? This wasn't my fault was it?" She asked. She didn't want Eric to be mad at her. She'd just gotten permission to call him by his first name. ><

"She'll be okay" Horatio mumbled, trying to wake Ceres up. "I think..."

Eric stood at the side, arms crossed, looking concerned. "It wasn't your fault" he told Violet, "you couldn't have known."

Violet grew quiet. The night had been going so well and then this happened...

Ceres took a quick inhale and grabbed hold of Horatio's arm and pushed him back and quickly moved away from everyone as she tried to figure out where she was.

Horatio stumbled back and fell on his rear, "Ceres!" he exclaimed, "Calm down-what happened?"

Ceres looked toward Horatio and her lower lip began to tremble, "Horatio...Horatio!" She wrapped her arms around him and held tightly to him, trembling like a leaf. "He almost found me." She whispered so only he could hear her.

Horatio stiffened, he knew exactly who she was talking about, "... did he see you?" he whispered in return, rubbing her back.

"I-I don't know. I blacked out. Horatio, if he figures out whose body I'm in..." She whispered back. "I couldn't... I don't know what he'd..." She began several sentences but was too afraid to finish them.

Violet felt rather awkward. Should see approach her? Or should she simply leave? Whatever was upsetting her was clearly not for her ears. Had it been about that voice that boomed her voice?
