Loki got back to his feet, thank goodness for tough Azgardian skin, he barely a drop of blood that he wiped from his face, "Hm. And that my dear, is why you are the last person who I would make a deal with. Even Odin knows how to curb his temper better than that." he commented, though speaking more to himself than anyone else at this point. He picked up the second Game of Thrones book and sat back down on the bed, "Next time don't send someone with a personal vendetta to negotiate" he told the camera as he started to read.

Juno returned a moment later and pulled the book out of his hands, " That. was not cool." She flicked his forehead before appearing on the other side of the bed.

Loki looked at her, "trying to pry information from me using the appearances of loved ones is, as you so elegantly put it, 'not cool'" he replied, "Now we're even, though I still don't like her. And, just for clarity's sake. I didn't ask Ceres to put herself at risk for me, she volunteered. I didn't ask for this half-bond thing with her, she was equally responsible for that. And I was going to return her tome to her the moment I got my own magic back. That devil magic was more attuned to setting fires than it was to opening small portals into pocket dimensions after all. Unless you would rather I had risked accidentally setting it ablaze? So then, do you and I have an understanding? Or am I going to have to wait for someone else who does not wish me ill? Because I am not making this deal with someone who hates me. That's just asking for trouble."

"Agreed. All those things are true and I have no coy with you, Mischievous one. What's done is done. You were tripping on sedatives so Polly took advantage..You, most likely, would have gone after Odin with or without Ceres. Ceres knew what she was doing when she used her Soul Gem to filter the black magic that was steaming off you. I can't imagine what would happened if such amount of raw dark magic was allowed to seep into the earth of Midguard... And I believe you would have given Ceres her book back. She explained you tried to before going to face Odin but were having withdrawal... Pallas was willing to have the past be 'water under the bridge' but I think your last statement was a little uncalled for... " Juno sat down, an orange mocha frappinco from Star Bucks appearing in her hands, "Want one? They're rather good."

How refreshing, Loki smiled, "I'm quite fine, thank you" he replied, leaning back casually, "I suppose I should have done a little more research before taking quite so much but you know how it sometimes, even I can get caught up in the moment." he shrugged, "I had no intention of causing that sort of trouble." he looked around the cell for a moment, "What happens next?" the azgardian inquired, "after we make this binding deal, what is it that Fury expects to come of me?"

"Reforming school" She did bunny ears. "I'm not officially with Shield or any other organization. Mostly I pop in when asked to help out. So whatever happens, rest assured that some big scary CEO doesn't have the trigger finger to axe the unbreakable vow." She poofed and floated a few feet above his bed, back resting against the glass window, "And I'm using the term school loosly here. Pretty much you'd be put into a program type setting, where they'd slowly integrate you into sociality. You know, find you a new focus... job or hobby...

I'm not quite sure how it works as I'm not part of Shield and it's something new they're trying. I think Magne- oh I'm sorry Max, had to go through a mini version of it."

Loki seemed skeptical and disinterested, "That sounds about as entertaining as feeding a Borgdath with your bare hands" he replied dryly, "but colour me vaguely curious all the same. Shall we?" he looked at Juno, it was up to her to begin the spell after all.

She put her finger out as she sipped the last of her drink, "Ah...Alright." She clapped her hands and appeared standing in front of the bed. She ran her hand up her lower arm and the same style of markings appeared on her arm but this time green.

"By this mark, we shall give you back your powers in exchange for your reform into society. Should you at any time go back to your usual destructive ways; which do no include mischief making, the goddess Ceres will have power to take yay said powers away. This bond will remain till the end of your days and will not be used or broken for or due to personal gain over the bearer. Do you agree, Loki, Prince of Mischief, agree to these terms?"

"Well said" Loki commended, "I agree"

"Shake my hand and the bond shall be complete." She held her hand out.

The markings moved like lightening and half of them transformed to Loki's arm. They burned but Juno held Loki's hand tightly and surprisingly pulled him forward and placed a kiss on his lips. As soon as she did this the burning sensation subsided and the green markings faded, the magic sinking into his skin.

"It is done." She said, letting him go after a min.

Loki admired his arm for a moment as the markings faded. It was almost disturbing how even that burning spell felt a little good, truly he missed his magic far too badly. He needed it back sooner than later, "Good. Now, my magic"

"Of course, one moment please, your call is important to us." She disappeared and then reappeared, but before she gave him the amulet she reinforced the magic so no teleport magic could be used. "FYI, I can track teleportion magic... And I'd rather not have to chase you around all of midguad, ok?" She said, just giving him a heads up that THAt wasn't an option for him.

"I wouldn't dream of it" Loki replied with a smile. He also still had the enchanted bracers on, which could negate any magic he attempted to use.

The bracers were a design made between the magic of the sisters and a little Shield technology. When activated, the runes would line up so no magic could be used, otherwise they were merely decoration.

"Liar." Thought she smiled as well, "It may take a bit for your magic to pull take full root in your system. It needs to readjust to your body." She said, taking the amulet and slipping it over his head.

The green gem glowed brightly as it reacquainted with him. That last bit of unhealthy paleness left him as he wrapped his fingers around the amulet. He was never letting this thing go, that much was instantly clear. It was as much a part of him as any arm or leg. He didn't even have anything to say.

Juno just smiled sweetly at the sight. "I'll leave you two alone," After a moment she added, "Ceres is still having some tests done and is suppose to be having a surprise visitor shortly." She said at the door to his cell "She'll be down as soon as she can." She assured him.

"Very well" Loki replied, once again moving back to the bed to sit down. Once she was gone he found himself letting out a deep sigh of relief. He would have given a lot, and I mean a lot more to get his magic back. Thank the gods that Shield hadn't pushed him for more.

As Juno had said, it did take a little adjustment with the magic in the amulet slowly returning to his body. But at least it was all there and after a few hours of coaxing as much out of it as possible, Loki wasted no time in indulging a little. The bed was transformed into something a bit more his style, he had thus far been wearing a set of Shield prison wear that was now transformed back to his regular clothing. There was now a book shelf for the accumulation of books, mostly the stupid ones that he had collected there thus far and now there was a rather soft rug made of some unknown animal skin on the ground. Even the lighting seemed to change from a harsh, stale white to a softer yellow. If this was going to be his home for the time, it was going to have to set a higher standard.

After he finished decorating, the slot in the door opened up and a guard slid the second Game of Thrones book in through the slot.

Ceres sat at a table, doing what is known as the Box and Block test. Where you take a block from one side and move it to the other side, lifting your hand up and over the small barrier. She was getting frustrated, her fine motor skills were shot and getting her hands to wrap around the small blocks was a challenge but... that's what all this rehab was for. To try and get her back up and running again.

She could focus more thanks to the riddlen they'd prescribed but she'd still space out if not engaged on something.

Today was a particularly stressful day at the rehab clinic. The man she'd been working with was off and this replacement was pushing her much harder than she could take. She was close to breaking down when he clicked his stop watch and told her to have a break.


All she could think of was throwing the whole box at him. What an asshole.

The book levitated over to the mischievous prince and he lay back in bed with it hovering above him so her could read it.
He was really happy to have his magic back.

"You look stressed" commented a familiar voice as Max entered the room. He was all smiles, glad to see her.

Ceres turned and for a moment was overly happy but then she turned pale, "No. You can't. See me like this." Polly had warned Max she might freak out on him.

She got up from the chair, stumbled backward, the pile of wooden blocks going everywhere as she fell rather clumsy to the floor. She held her hands out, covering her face. "No don't. I-I don't want you to see me like this."

Max stopped, allowing her to have her space as he knelt to her fallen level, "Too see you like what?" he asked gently, "all I see a beautiful girl called Ceres, one of my favourite people to be around"

"But... But I'm broken. I'm like... an old woman in a young body. I can't tie my shoes, I'm even more clumsy then before and I can't anymore. I can't use half of my powers.." She rambled on, tears starting to form. It was clear she'd been thinking about what would happen when Max saw her like this.

Eric couldn't help but smile, "Ceres... I actually am an old man in a young body. I think I get." he offered her his hand.
