Ceres had tensed up and was still holding tightly to Eric, almost refusing to let go, breathing heavily. "A dragon? That can't be right... They were all killed in to Dragon Raids.." She looked confused.

"Actually it's a Dragir, they still live in Nastrond" Loki commented, rather calm about the situation as he stood a breath from the barrier, "A few of them found their way to Midguard some time ago but like you said, the mortals got rid of them." he watched the creature fly passed his translucent green barrier, screaming it's dragon call. "And I thought Thor sealed that passage as well, so there shouldn't be any more..." his eyes strayed to look at Fitz, "Where did that little box go?" he questioned, "the one that controls these runes?" he tapped his bracer.

Fitz's jaw dropped, "w-well... I... dropped it..."

"Fitz!" Simmons elbowed him.

"Out the new window?" Loki smirked a little. To be honest, that little device was the only thing really keeping him from taking off in a moment's notice. "Excuse me" he turned and dove out the hole, leaving the barrier in tact though he passed right through it.

"Loki! Where are you going?" Ceres called running forward a few steps. "Get back here Mister..." Ceres stared at the hole in the plane and after a moment, launched herself onto Eric. "I don't like being in the sky!"

Eric held onto her tightly, "I know dear" he replied gently, "and I have no idea what he's thinking either.


Loki wasn't very good with flying spells, and by not very good I mean he probably couldn't do one if his life depended on him. Teleportation was about as good as he got when it came to transportation but thanks to Juno that little area of magic had been restricted from him. So there he was, plummeting towards the earth while a dragon was ripping apart the hellicarrier where possibly his only friend in the nine realms resided.

With a display of magic, a very shiny and very sparkly trail followed his fall which caught the attention of the dragon pretty quickly. It turned it's attention away from the giant metal structure and dove after the god with a greedy look in it's eye.

Next thing the people on the carrier knew, Loki rose back into the air on the head of the beast, he seemed to actually be controlling it to. For the first time in a long time, he finally looked at home doing it to.

Ceres jumped off Eric, her hands pumped in front of her," AMAZING! You're being so badass Loki. " She said, praising him before clinging back to Eric.

They took the hellicarrier down for something was barely not a crash landing and Loki brought the dragon down nearby as well.

Ceres was almost out as soon as they stopped moving. "SWEET BEAUIFUL GROUN- Dragon <3" She got up and hurried over. "Wow...Look at you." She stopped in front of the dragon and smiled. "Look how majestic you are."

The dragon looked at Ceres and snorted, causing a small amount of flame to erupt from it's nostrils. Loki scratched the beast behind the large scales on it's neck, "It's just a youngling" he commented, "it can't be more than a few months old." yet the dragon had to be nearly the size of a house. "it doesn't even know it's own language."

"These things have their own language?" Eric inquired, eyeing the creature with distrust.

"In a manner of speaking" Loki replied, "Dragir have just enough words to pass as a language, usually they learn them very quickly as well. I wonder why she doesn't"

"She?" Coleson was keeping a safe distance.

"Yes, she" Loki didn't even seem irritated at explaining himself, "the redish hue to the scales around her face, the sharper teeth and she doesn't have any spikes on her tail. The males are quite the opposite, their teeth somewhat duller, large spikes at the end of their tails and their faces are more copper than red."

"You seem... well informed" Eric commented

Loki just laughed, "We used to head over to Nastrond all the time, try to ride them. It's actually quite difficult if you don't know what you're doing. They'd much rather eat you whole than let you touch them at all, unless you know just were to scratch" he tickled the dragon under her chin. "and even so, you can only ride the little ones. Thor nearly died trying to show off on a larger, which of course was when Odin decided no one should go there anymore. That was ages ago."

"Where is your mother and father little one?" Ceres asked, holding out her hand for the Dragon to smell before bowing down in respect to it. "Dragir...Why do I know that..." She pulled out her Soul Tome and started flipping through the pages.

Ceres had improved greatly in the last year thanks to Rehab but she still felt like an old woman most days, falling asleep in the afternoons, getting hungry around 4 pm, not having strength in her limbs. She couldn't use the kind of magic she use to but she could still mustard enough to defend herself.

She'd even managed to help CoCo change back to his cat form, a much cuter and adorale kitten form mind you but a cat never the less.

"Page 248" Loki mentioned before glancing around, "I think she's hungry. What sort of meat do you have on that ship of yours?"

"... I'll have a look" Coleson replied, the last thing he wanted was to have someone eaten. Fitz and Simmons were the first to retreat back to the hellicarrier.

She looked up at him, "My book doesn't have page numbers, it's like the never ending story in here-...Did you number the pages?" She said looking up at him not impressed.

"I don't know how you keep track of where anything is in there" Loki admitted with a shrug.

Ceres' face grew red, "IT'S MAGICAL! No wonder I can't locate anything. There's escaer bits and highlight everywhere!" She took a few deep breaths and opened up to the right page.

Loki shrugged and kept petting the dragir to keep it happy and docile.

Ceres had been having trouble remembering things and it was clear now it was because of all the pencil marks and pen and everything else Loki had done to her book... She'd have to go get it repaired. If she remember correctly there was someone there that repaired magic books from people mistook them for normal books.

Ceres cleared her throat and began reading the words off the page, trying to see if the young Dragir would response to any of it.

The creature didn't seem to take any notice of what Ceres was saying.

It was too distracted by Loki it seemed, "Here, perhaps she'll listen to you." She said floating up a bit so she could hold the book at reading level for Loki.

Loki looked at the book and repeated the words as well, with a proper dragir accent even, but the creature still didn't know what any of it meant. It just growled and whined a little.

Ceres frowned, "I wish Juno was here. She's good at communicating with animals even when they don't have a language." She turned her head and noticed the two scienists standing by the exit with a bucket of meat. Ceres went over and got the bucket.

"You hungry, sweetie?" Ceres said in a soft tone, using the tone of her voice to let the creature know she meant no harm, setting the bucket down and holding her hand out flat with a bit of meat on it, just like you do with horses.

The dragir perked up a little at the sight and smell of dead meat, it gave Ceres' palm a sniff and then quickly licked it up and turned it's attention to the rest.

Ceres giggled, it's tongue was tickling her hand. She then moved out of the way for the beast to eat. "Poor little lady."

"I still can't help but wonder where she came from" Loki frowned, looking her over. He knelt but one of the dragir's feet where a chain had been wrapped around and clearly broken. "Well that's just wrong" he took the chain which seemed to startle the creature and it batted him away in protest. Loki was thrown back to the ground, though he had managed to remove the chain in the process.

"Woah, woah. Easy there, lovely... Easy." Ceres said calmly. She frowned at the chain in Loki's hands, "...No wonder she doesn't know her own language..." It made Ceres heart break to see this sort of treatment to such a wonderful creature. "Can you get me the first aid kit?" Ceres called over. The scales under the chain were rough.

Coco, who had been having a nap, came over. "Meow?" The kitten looked up at the Dragir. Coco started to pur, standing in front of the creature

The dragir looked down at the tiny kitten, and then purred back while Eric got the first aid kit and Loki brushed himself off.

Coco rubbed himself up against the dragir, letting it know it was with friends.
"Are you alright?" Ceres asked.
