"Just fine" Loki shrugged, "it's not the first time I've been thrown off by a dragir" the creature seemed quite content with the little kitten, she nuzzled Coco affectionately.

Coco licked the side of the Dragir's face lovingly.
"Looks like you made a friend, Coco."

"That makes sense" Loki commented, "Dragir, whether or not they're aware of it, tend to be more in tune with other magical creatures. Which likely explains why I was so much better at controlling them than Thor ever was. It probably didn't help that I told them to attack him half the time" he chuckled, "he nearly had his arm bitten off once"

Ceres couldn't help but chuckle at that.

Coco got the Dragir to lay down and he curled up to it's head, giving it love cuddles. "Well, we can't leave her here. Whoever chained her is probably looking for her.. How's that first aid kit coming?"

The kit floated over to Ceres.

"We won't be leaving her here" Coleson agreed, "I called in a Shield team, they're coming to pick her up."

"Absolutely not" Loki shot Coleson a glare, "What does Shield even know about Dragir? You aren't taking her to be locked up underground somewhere. I'm taking her back to Nastrond."

"Somehow I don't think Fury would go for that" Coleson frowned, they weren't supposed to let Loki out of their sights for an instant and he had already jumped out of a hellicarrier once that day. Fury was going to throw a fit.

She took the first aid kit and knelt down to open it, "I'm going to have to agree with Loki here. We're the first people she's met since escaping, she's alone and scared and hurt. And you want us to hand her over to complete strangers? She'll panic and most likely hurt herself and whatever team you bring in. It's best to keep familiar people with her. Coco, could you? "

Coco looked up and meowed. He got the Dragir's attention and purred while rubbing up against Ceres, letting the baby dragir know that Ceres was a friend and was only trying to help. That she meant no harm to her.

Ceres got all the bandages ready, "Ok, little lady. I'm just going to put on some cooling cream on your leg to help sooth your scales, ok?" She looked the Dragir in the eye and waited for the Dragir's approval before starting.

The Dragir eyed Ceres with a bit of uncertainty but seemed willing enough to comply.

"I'll talk to Fury" Coleson sighed, "but I'm sure Shield can handle this."

"You better cause I'm not going anywhere without her." Ceres made very clear. "We could even take Thor and Juno with us if it would ease his mind." She stated before turning back to her patient.

"Alright sweetie. Here we go..." Ceres gently applied the cream. "Good girl, look how brave you are." She said in a soft gentle tone.

"Alright" Coleson sighed and headed back inside to make a phone call.

"Hm. It's almost as though they don't trust me with a dragir" Loki commented.

Ceres didn't comment till she'd wrapped the Dragir's leg up and was sitting in front of her gently brushing the top of her head, rewarding her for being such a good patient. "Perhaps, but I'll be damned if I let a bunch of strangers take her off... Gal has been through enough stress... And who knows what terrible situation she escaped from. Best thing for her is to feel safe. Yes, you were very brave little one. " Ceres said softly smiling warmly.

The dragir purred.

"I didn't think Dragirs could purr. So cute."

It wasn't very long at all before more Shield agents showed up to take the Dragir away, but there was nothing they could say or do to separate Loki from her.

They weren't expecting them to be so quick about showing up so they had coced the Dragir into the hanger of the mini helicarrier. They didn't want to attach attention to themselves anymore than a big ass crashed plane would.

Ceres had made a comfy bed for the Dragir out of some blankets and had actually dozed off against the Dragir. The two Scientists of the party looked on in horror behind their glass door.

But it was like clock work now, 2:30-3pm, Ceres would doze off for a nap. She woke up to arguing at the bottom of the ramp. She yawned, "...What's going on?" She looked at her watch. Was that the rescue team already? Shouldn't it have taken like... 5-6 hours originally?

"That's it, where's the remote for this guy?" the Shield operative was saying, rather fed up with arguing with Loki.

"They lost it" Loki replied, crossing his arms, "When I saved their primordial a**es from the Dragir-and if you think for a moment that you are placing that around it's neck, you are sorely mistaken" he shot a look at the other Shield agent who was holding a large dragon-sized collar.

"If we don't lock her down she could hurt herself and others" he exclaimed, clearly more worried about himself than the well-being of the Dragir.

Loki waved his hand and the collar wrapped around the man's neck and shrunk to the appropriate size for a human, "Is that comfortable? No? Sorry, well I'd hate for you to hurt yourself or others."

Ceres approached the arguing group, putting her hands up between the groups. "I'm sorry. But I don't know if you've gotten the heads up but she isn't going anywhere without us. She's a magical being. Even though we can't communicate Coco and her have an understanding. That collar is not necessary...And how on earth did you get here so quickly, last time I checked Coleson said it would be at least 5 hours before you'd arrive."

"Yeah, if the team had come from base" the man replied, "but we were contacted because we happened to be close by-and our orders are strictly for the dragon, no one else."

"Well I don't think you'll have a lot of choice in that regard" Coleson commented, "You're going to have to take them or I get the feeling you will have problems with her. I can call Fury and settle this if you like, but he really doesn't like being bothered with this sort of thing"

The man didn't seem fond of bringing the Shield commander himself into this little conversation, "I-okay, fine." he sighed, "Just get it on the carrier."

"Her." Ceres corrected. "And she'd have a name... if she could talk." Ceres clapped her hand and a pink transparent whistle appeared in her hand. She blew it but there was no sound. Coco ran down the ramp. She knelt down, "We're going to take Miss Dragir to a safer location, can you let her know?"

Meow If anyone was looking at the kitten they would have noticed it on it's hin legs and saulting to Ceres before running back up the ramp.

"So where are we taking her?" Ceres asked.

"We're taking her to a secure location" he replied as Coco helped lead the Dragir onto the carrier. Loki gave a hand as well, creating a sparkling ball of light for her to follow. They brought her into a large empty room where she sniffed around with distaste and growled a little.

"Perhaps you should give her a name?" Loki suggested to Ceres.
