He looked up again, "Oh, hmm... he's been a little stressed lately. There's a lot of outside pressure for Genosha to be more open to non-mutants and Scott has been trying to get him to convince people that it's okay. A good portion of the population isn't too keen on the changes lately."

"Maybe I should stay. I couldn't possibly go out and have a good time while my Max is here all stressed out..."

Ciara slowly began to smirk, "Yesss....That's right... Stressed out indeed."

The door to Eric's house was kicked down by a large ball of water, "GRANDPA! I'm kidnapping you!" She called with Celeste and Thor by her side.

"Wha!?" Eric startled, all the little metal things in the room suddenly filling the air around him defensively, "Ciara! Don't do that!" he exclaimed, "I could have killed you! Oh, hello Ceres" he smiled at her.

"KIDNAPPING!" Thor proclaimed and charged into the room, throwing Eric over his shoulder and charging out again.

"Oh it was well worth it for that look on your face!" Ciara said smiling. This was her week away from Genosha. Just whatever she wanted to do and this was priceless.

"Hi Sweetie." She said, waving from behind Thor before he charged Eric and back out the door.

Ciara let out a Bwa ha ha as they hopped into the copper. "This is for your own good. You. need to destress. And partying is key."

And off they went, flying over the forest to town to catch a ride on an extremely luxurious plane and off to glorious Gotham for a night of wild fun.

Celeste dozed off during the flight which was a good thing because she did NOT like flying. And it was a good thing too. Because a party with Bruce Wayne takes a lot of energy.

They stopped at a shop and got the girls and Thor and Eric some party clothes and headed out on the town.

"Where are we heading?" Celeste asked excitedly.

"Iceburg Lounge" Bruce declared, "All class, all fun. Everyone gets a thousand dollars for gambling-then to the Blue Lagoon because they have the best shrimp in Gotham, there's also the Pink Flamingo-the Dj and I go way back. Then there's a roaming rave that happens between 2 and five am, I'll figure out where it is later tonight."

Celeste finished her red bull as they rolled up to the Iceburg Lounge. The driver opened up the door and Bruce was the first out. Celeste stopped Eric by placing her hand on his arm, "Do...Do I look ok in this?"

Eric smiled at her, "You look incredible" he replied and helped her out of the limo.

Ciara's

Celeste smiled, that's what she needed to hear. She wasn't use to wearing this type of dress. Though she rather liked how they'd folded the fabric to look like roses on the bottom of the dress.

Ciara had picked out a bit more resurved looking dress. She was a married woman after all with 3 lovable babies. No need to send the wrong message. Though she was sure someone would try hitting on her. It always happened.

The place was quite alive. Fancy music, gambling and enough liquor behind the bar to sink a ship.

Celeste was rather impressed by the large Iceberg in the middle.

Everyone there seemed to notice Bruce's entrance-it was hard not to. The man could really make an entrance. the moment they stepped inside the music changed to a wicked party number and the lights moved to hit them as the group entered. Apparently Alfred had called ahead, either that, or Bruce was really just that big of a celebrity in Gotham. Either were possible.

Ceres quickly slipped her hand into Max's and stepped closer to him. Ciara stepped in between Thor and Loki and linked arms with them, "Gentlemen, Welcome to Gotham." She smirked.

The night was one thrill after another. For someone who actually spent most nights crushing the scum of Gotham,Bruce really did know how to party. Although Ciara did notice on occasion that he would disappear for awhile and then suddenly spew up again when it was time to move to a different spot. In fact she had to cover for him once when Loki noticed.

As for the gambling section of the evening, Ciara came out with nothing but Ceres on the other hand made 7k. She hadn't even been trying/ knew how to play but every table they took her too seemed to be lucky for her.

When Loki noticed Bruce gone, Ciara just shrugged her shoulders and looked at her watch, "By the amount of time he's been gone, I'd say Mr. Wayne has found a lovely lady to... get to know better." And when Bruce came back she smiled at him, "Soooo, did you get that lovely lady's number?" She asked grinning. As a playboy, it was only natural for Bruce to go make out with rather attractive people in public.

Ciara texted Pietro with a photo of a guy hitting on her, "Another guy trying to make the moves. Should I kick him in the balls or let him off easy?" She texted, smiling sweetly to herself.

Thor and Ceres slammed down their shot glasses and both yelled at the same time, "ANOTHER!" with Ceres adding a please at the end.

Bruce just grinned and held up his hand which bore seven digits scribbled on it.

Ciara proceeded to give Bruce a high-five.

They partied hard. Ceres had never had such a blast before. The music, the dancing, the goofing off, the booze.

The rave was intense, loud music, glow sticks and black lights. Ceres danced with Eric and become rather embarrassed by all the grinding/ dry hump dancing going on around them.

Ciara ended up punching a guy for even thinking he could grind up all over her. After she punched him and he backed off, she took finished her drink. About 2 mins later, Ceres started to feel weird and stumbled sideways, catching herself on Thor. Had someone turned on the a/c? Because for all these bodies the warehouse was getting rather cold.

"Ah! Fair maiden" Thor declared, "I thinkst that thou hast had enough!"

Loki certainly having a good time, using that bubble trick to levitate (mostly)willing individuals into the air so they could party on another level. Also, damn could that Azgardian dance.

"I just... need some fresh air. Could you help me outside?" She asked, holding her head.

Ceres had more of a belly dancer/ para dance style to her dancing.

"Very well" Thor agreed, helping her outside.

By the time Ciara got outside, she was shivering and her breath was coming out as a cool puff of smoke even though it was above freezing.

She sat down on a crate. "Thor. Find Bruce... Something's wrong." She looked up at him, her eyes dilated.

Thor looked concerned and wrapped his jacket around her before rushing back inside to find Bruce. Thankfully he hadn't disappeared anywhere and came quickly when called. "Ciara?" Bruce knelt next to her, "What's wrong?"

The crate was covered in frost and by the time they got back Ciara was laying on it. "I-I dunno. I think someone put something in my drink...I'm so cold..."

Bruce pulled out his cell phone, "Alfred, are you nearby? Good. Something's going on... ... And an ambulance. Thanks." he hung up, wrapped his own jacket around Ceres as well as he tried to figure out what was going on. "Thor, get the others. I think we're done for tonight. It's probably just a bad high or something..."

Thor nodded, going to find the others now.

As soon as he was gone, Bruce got a whole different sort of serious, "I'm sending you to the Hospital but I'm going to need a blood sample for myself to check out. This isn't a common street drug."

She nodded, "I-It's like my mutant power is reversing." She sat up and put her hand on the crate to stabilize herself and the whole crate turned to ice. "Bruce, I'm scared." A few crystal tears fell out of her eye ducts as she held her arm out for him.

"Ciara" Bruce met her eyes with his steady gaze, "Breathe. Everything's going to be alright." With a quick glance around he broke a window (they were in a bit of a run down part of town anyway) and with the glass he took her arm and made a small cut as gently as possible. He did need to analyze her blood after all and sneaking into the hospital after changing into Batman was a waste of time they possibly din't have. After that, Bruce placed the glass in his pocket and tucked her arms into the coat and hugged her. The ambulance could be heard moments away.
