Rather shortly after Ciara had decided to go outside, Gambit had decidedly been chilling nearby.

It was Ciara successfully completed a handstand that she noticed the Gambit a little ways. His presence startled her. How long had the man been there?

"A whole new WORL- She fell out of her handstand and hurried behind the tree. Slowly after a moment of gained courage she poked her head around, to see if he had noticed her.

Gambit drew in a deep breath off a cigarette before dropping the butt on the ground and stamping it out. He glanced in her direction on occasion but that was about it.

Ciara peered at him from around the tree for several mins before slowly emerging from her hiding place. She stopped several feet away from him, "H-hello?"

Gambit looked over at as she spoke, "Bonjour" he greeted lightly.

She held her arms protectively near her chest, "B-Bonjour Monsieur..." She took a small step back, not sure whether approaching the stranger was a good idea.

"Qui êtes-vous?" Pause. "Et combien de temps vous étiez-vous tenu parmi les estrades?" She asked, with several pauses in between chunks of words.

Gambit turned to face her fully, "Mon nom est Gambit. Je suis un ami de Wolverine, il a juste voulu que je s'assurât personne ne vous ont tracassé tandis que vous jouez."

"Monsieur Gambit is friends with Wolfie?" She thought over out loud.

"]Bien, c'est de grandes nouvelles."... " Il peut trouver par hasard comme plutôt un macho/homme tranquille parfois…" She paused a moment, " Je souhaite qu'il n'ait pas dû couler comme il faisait" She kicked at the grass with her foot. "Il est regrettable quand il va… " Pause. " Mon coeur Achy de Breaky n'aime pas quand il va…" Another pause. " Il fait mon coffre blesser…" She flopped down near him, finding herself a little tired from all the running around. "Do you have someone special, Monsieur Gambit?"

"Ah, mais oui" Gambit nodded as he leaned against a tree, "elle est mon cherre. Our paths 'ave not always run de same way, but dey cross and dis is good enough for Gambit."

"Combien romantique" Pause, "Ssait-elle vous vous sentez[/COLOR] ?" She asked letting out a yawn.

"Mais oui" Gambit smiled, looking at her as she yawned, "Are you sleepy mon petite?"

"Hmm?" She looked up at him as she attempted to rub her eye with her dirt covered hand. " I think Ilayed too much..." She commented, curling up in the lush grass, prepared to fall asleep right there.

Gambit chuckled, stooping to pick her up, "Gambit will take you back to bed mon petite"

Ciara wrapped her arms around his neck and nodded but when the door to her room came in view, she started struggling. "No... Thats ok Ciara isnt tired. See?"

Gambit stopped, "but mon petite, what is the matter?" he set her down.

"I dont want to be locked back in the zoo encampment." She said shaking her head, "Im not an owl. Please dont make me mousier Gambit"

"What are you talking about petite?" Gambit asked in confusion, "dat be your bedroom. It is not'ing like a zoo"

"No no! Not a room. It's like the one the red eyed bad man put me in... No exits, people watching you on cameras..." She paused before making a break for the front door, "Ciara won't go back! No! Ciara won't!"

Gambit rolled his eyes a little and bolted after her. Using his staff as a vaulting pole he sailed over her head and landed in between her and the exit. "Petite" he looked her in the eyes as he removed his sunglasses, "evert'ing be alright. Remy no let anyt'ing 'appen to you."

Ciara came to an abrupt stop when Gambit landed in front of her. "But-..." Slowly her shoulders relaxed and so did her expression. "Does Remy promise?" She asked wrapping her arms around him.

"Ciara n'aime pas la salle de zoo. Aucun non elle ne fait pas." She paused. " Navets et évidence en effet. Ciara peut-il dormir autrement où ?"

Remy nodded as though he understood and picked Ciara up again, "Remy know just de place" he carried her off to a spot near the ocean, where the grass grew right up to the water and a tree overhung the bank. Remy sat her down on the ground and took a seat next to her. The salty ocean air was warm and the waves lapped against shore in rhythm.

She gasped, "Wooooooow... I like it here! It's so pretty. Vous devriez amener votre belle amie de dame ici autrefois." She looked up at him and then reached up, touching his cheeks, "You have baggies under your eyes. Remy devrait avoir un sommeil aussi," She said curling up against the outer side of his thigh.

Remy touched his eye for a moment before sighing, "Oui mon petite..." he took off his trench coat and draped it over the two of them, laying down to rest a bit himself, "Bon nuit"

"Remy nice..." She mumbled happily before drifting off to sleep land.

Ciara floated among the chaos of her mind, drinking tea as little pixies and Ocean related plushies dancing around the floating table on a ring of purple grass. A choir of singing coral with faces hummed softly. There were buildings in rumble and almost looked like someone had taken a puzzle piece cookie cutter to them and poked holes in it. A crowd of over sized caterpillars were fighting over an over sized building block. As well there were pieces of random facts and knowledge floating in pieces all over the place.

She wore a Lolita checkered dress and a large top hat, a fluffy white tail sticking out the back. "Oh... it's you again." She commented as Charles appeared behind her. The first couple of times he'd entered her mind, she'd quickly started to resist but she was learning to trust him more.

"Hello Ciara, it's good to see you again" Charles smiled as he walked over to her, somehow managing to ignore the preposterous chaos surrounding him.
