"We're not doing something bad right?" She asked after awhile. letting him figure everything out. It wasn't that she didn't trust him it was just... she had no idea what was so important.

"I'm getting my life back" Loki replied, following along one of the rivers on the map, "I think I have finally figured out just how... but my encounter with Frost Giants did not exactly go as planned, as you may have seen. They are going to come for the staff, I need it first."

"So, the Frost Giants want this staff... And they seem pretty bad so that's a perfect reason to retrieve it before they do." She said trying to figure a way to word the situation when the time came. "...What does the staff do?"

"It was created by Galatr, son of Hithelm. He wanted to remove all evil from the realms so he gave up his eyes as offered for a stone that could remove evil from a person's soul. But the stone ended up taking one of his qualities in the process. Instead of only removing evil from a heart, it blindly pulled a random trait from them instead. He forged a staff to harness it's power but by then Bor, Odin's father, put an end to it. He buried the staff deep within Midgard" as he spoke his finger finally found a resting place on the map, dead center of Washington DC.

"So...You want to remove a random personially trait from yourself?"

"What?" Loki gave her a look, "no. It's a dangerous weapon that if used unwisely, or randomly, can kill someone. Anyone. The purpose of the staff was to make it controllable but it was never actually tested to my knowledge, so I don't know if it works but The Frost Giants are after it, which is why we need to get to it first."

"So... you just want to keep it out of enemy hands then?" It was clear Ceres was trying to understand where Loki was coming from but also to the fact she wasn't fully there. Perhaps the spiritual trip to retrieve Loki's mind and the trip to the ice realm were leaving her a little tuckered out.

Loki turned to face her fully, "Imagine Thor, no longer with the ability to wield his hammer. The army of Azgard, suddenly losing their skill or fight or even, their will to do so. Now that they know passage to Midgard, this is all within their reach and even I do not wish to see a world where Azgard and all the realms fall to ice."

Ceres' eyes widened. That go across just fine. "What are we waiting for?! Let's move. Can you teleport us there?" She asked.

"I can get us close enough" Loki replied, wrapping an arm around her waste to bring Ceres in closer. It wad a good thing to because iron fist had apparently awoken.

"Ceres get away from him!" The King demanded as he rushed forward but it was to late. Loki just sent him a smirk and cast his spell. the two vanished and appeared in downtown dc.

"Really? You had to smirk at him?" Ceres said after the reappeared.

"Actually I thought it was rather dramatic." Juno said, standing on a nearby statue. She hopped down, "What's up?"

"Pardon me for enjoying getting one up on him" Loki shrugged, then turned to Juno. He wasn't too sure he liked having her here but from what he remembered she was not directly linked to Shield, so perhaps it would be alright. He just kept a cautious eye on her, "Juno, what pleasant surprise. What brings you to..." he glanced around at the busy streets, concrete earth as far as the eye could see and such hardy, tall buildings. "Oh dear" the Azgardian let out a sigh. How was he supposed to pinpoint the location through all this?

She shrugged, "Iron Fist called me awhile ago. Guess he figured you'd teleport or try and destroy the world or something." She said brushing it off. "So, where we going?" She asked. She seemed more interested in helping the trickster than stopping him.

"You mean, you aren't going to stop us?" Ceres asked hesitantly.
"And miss out on an awesome treasure hunt for some crazy staff? No way!"
"How did you-"
"Um. Hello I teleport. Might have been chilling on a bookshelf. Quest seems pretty important. And I think you might need a hand with it anyways."

"Honestly, this is something I could do alone," Loki replied, "but if you care to keep an eye out for Frost Giants, I suppose I won't object." he wasn't even looking at her anymore but rather eyeing the sky. Everything was so drastically different, he needed a different point of view. So he picked the tallest sky scraper and headed for it.

Juno smiled lightly, "Sounds good. I'll keep you updated." Her scythe appears and she waved it around dramatically, "I'm good at look out." She teleported to a nearby building.

Ceres hurried behind Loki. "What exactly are we looking for? Is it in a tree or some kind of statue?"

"It was buried" Loki replied as they headed up the elevator of an office building, "Through a cave that lead deep beneath the surface. It wasn't too far west from the river, between where it splits and bends." he mumbled, half as an explanation to her and half as the memory surfaced. He had been there before.

She rubbed the back of her head, "I don't think I'm going to be much help. They don't really teach US history in Japan."

They made their way to the roof and Loki stepped up on the edge to get a bird's eye view of the area. "Let's see... it should be... right around there" he pointed, almost directly at the White House. "That was where the entrance to the cave was, anyway."

Ceres' eyes widened, "Um Loki... You're telling me this cave of yours... IS BELOW THE WHITE HOUSE?" She said starting to panic. "The preisdant of the US lives there. We can't go in there!"

"Sure we can. Would wants to go on a tour?" Juno had reappeared behind them.

Loki didn't seem to fully understand, "I am aware that the house is white... Who is 'the president of the US' and why should I care?"

"You know how Midgud is divided up into nations. The 'king' of the USA lives there." Juno pointed at the white house, "The USA has more fire power than any other country in the world. Minus North Korea I think. You step foot in there and start causing problems; you'll be labeled a terrorist and be hunted down by almost every well know super hero in the country... That and Shield works mostly out of the US so they'll be on your ass." Juno explained. "Making an enemy of the US is a really bad idea...The white house is also heavily guarded with security and special agents."

"... Can they do this?" Loki asked, creating a ball of fire in his hand while about fifty duplicates of himself, each in a different outfit, did the same.

"...No but that's not how this should be done." She said lowering the real Loki's arm. "We have three options. We sneak in after dark and do this. I create a diversion while you two sneak away from the tour group while disguised so neither of you are flagged on the security cameras or three... Wait for the Frost Giants to show up and let them distract the guards while we move in." Juno said.

The illusions disappeared and Loki peeked over the side of the building again, "I'm going to go with the second option." he decided, "the Frost Giants have arrived and it seems that they to, have gained their bearings."

Below, marching down the streets was a group of at least Fifteen Frost Giants, all marching towards the White House.

"Alright. Here's how this is going to go down." We wait until they approach the white house. I'll teleport us into the opal office because the underground bunker is located just underneath that. We'll need to get there before they try to secure the prisdient inside. Once they lock that... we're screwed."
