Thor smiled, "You are welcome little feline" he replied, "Do make yourselves at home. If you require anything, merely ask. There are things I must attend to before the morning now"

Juno nodded, "Of course. Thank you." There was a loud rumbling noise. Juno looked down at her stomach, "Perhaps directions to your kitchen would be nice." She said

"Of course" Thor nodded and called over a servant to guide Juno to where she could eat. They provided her with such a grand amount of food it would take her a week to eat it all. Meanwhile, Thor was back to business.

Juno ate a large pile full. Much more than any of the servants were expecting for her size. Juno found a window sill and dozed off till morning with her sand cat crawled over her lap.

*Sometime later...*

They took the rainbow bridge to Heimdall but instead of sending them straight to Yodenheim he turned to Thor, "The stone is no longer on Yodenheim" he stated, his eyes staring out into the universe, "they have taken it to Svartalfheim. The cross the plain as we speak"

"Then that is where we go" Thor nodded.

"Yes, but why would they go to such a desolate place?" Siv wondered, a little troubled by the notion.

"...A trap perhaps or has Loki obtained the stone back?" Juno suggested, "Regardless, Loki pointed out the Giants may want to use it against you, Thor. You of all people, should be the most cautious."

"She is right" Hodur agreed, "Without you, who would lead Azgard?"

Thor shook his head, "I won't send a soldier to do something that I am not willing to do myself." he replied stubbornly, "Send us Heimdall."

Heimdall, with a slight frown obeyed the king and soon they were standing on the vast ash wasteland of Svartalfheim, the desolated and abandoned home of the dark elves.

Juno look out upon the landscape, "Shall I scout ahead?" She asked, ready to teleport.

Thor nodded, "We will not be far behind"

Juno nodded and started teleporting in short distances, always making sure to take cover when she finished each teleport.

Eventually she found them, practically a small army of Frost Giants moving across the barren black sand. It seemed likely that they were only passing through this realm on their way to another, through one of Loki's hidden pathways. Who knew how much time they had before then?

"No sign of Loki..." She mumbled to herself. "Hope the trickster's alright." She whispered to Brutus. She ducked back behind the boulder, "Alright, let's head back my little kitty cat." She said as Brutus changed size into a kitten and hopped onto her shoulder.

They made no indication of seeing her.

Juno teleported several times till she reached the others. "A small army of Frost Giants. " She reported, "It would seem that they are more they are merely using this world to get to another. Which one I cannot say... No sign of Loki."

"Sounds like they're getting ready to really start this war" Siv frowned.

"they will be starting nothing" Thor stated firmly, "Volstagg and Fandral with me, we will circle around and head them off. The rest of you will come up from behind."

"If you cause the distraction, I should be able to teleport in and out to retrieve the stone." She pointed out. The quicker they got the stone, the safer everyone and the realms would be.

The stone was likely in the large box that was being carried between two massive Frost Giants.

"Then it is a plan." Thor agreed and they dispersed.

Juno teleported herself upon a large cliff, over looking the Frost Giants. She'd wait for the right moment to swoop in and take the stone.

Just as they planned, Thor and his two friends stood in the way of the army. The young king spoke loudly for all to hear, "Hand over the stone and go home alive"
The Frost Giants just laughed at him and began creating their icy weapons.
"Can't say I did not give you a chance" Thor brandished his hammer and they charged forward while at the same time, his other friends came at the giants from the other direction. The two in the center however never let go of that chest.

Juno waited a moment before making her move. She gave herself plenty of room and then ran as fast as she could toward the cliff edge. As she leapt from the high off cliff, she did a Pirouette; spinning her diamond hard scythe around with her.

When she teleported, she appeared a few inches above the chest. Spinning like a table saw blade, her blade slided through the Frost Giants' forearms, causing the chest to drop to the ground.

"Boom B*tches." She said, landing in a kneeling position on top of the fallen chest, Frost blood dripping from her blade.

While those giants proceeded to freak the flying F*** out, at least three more instantly moved in to attack Juno. One of them grabbed hold of her scythe, his cold hand beginning to cover it in a deadly frost.

Juno looked at his hand holding her blade and changed her hand positions, grinning. She swung herself forward, blades appearing on her feet as she sliced his neck open on her way around. Once her feet returned to the chest and gave a tug of her handle and the Giant let go, grabbing his neck.

Juno looked at her ice covered blade, "....You know I grew up in the cold right? You're just gonna add more damage to my attacks."

Another one of the giants made to try and stab Juno from behind but suddenly it found itself stabbed from behind and shockingly dead. The culprit was oddly enough a frost giant, or at least appeared to be so at first until the image flickered and vanished to reveal Loki, "Juno, how good of you to drop by" he smiled, "and I see you brought friends"

"There you are." She smiled, changing her defensive stance into a more friendly one, though she did thrust the back of the handle into a Giant's stomach causing him to fall over.

"Was wondering when you were going to join the party. Shall we teleport this bad boy away or what?" She grinned warmly, some blood rolling down her cheek.

"Small problem with that" Loki replied, kicking the chest open to reveal it's very empty contents, "This was a decoy. The one over there is carrying the stone" he nodded in direction of one of the Giants who at that very moment was pulling the stone out. They had fitted it with some sort of metal webbing that formed handles on the sides so that one could carry it without actually touching the stone. "Byleistr is more clever than I initially gave him credit for" Loki added before realizing that the giant was aiming the stone right at Thor. The color drained from his face a touch, "THOR!"

But Thor didn't hear him, caught up in the battle the young King was bringing down Giant after Giant with no idea of the danger he was in. Loki bolted forward, waving his hands as he suddenly conjured multiple versions of his azgardian brother to confuse the giant's aim. Unfortunately it was a little too late, the stone glow brightly as the giant released it's energy at the king. One of Siv's arrows dug into the giant's shoulder but that only threw off it's aim a little bit. The light plowed through several illusions and still caught Thor in the shoulder.

A look of shock crossed the young king's face and for a second it was as though time slowed. The stream of light made everything look double for a moment before suddenly yanking back into the stone and dragging some part of Thor along with it.
The hammer fell from his hand, and then Thor dropped to the ground.
