Ceres glanced in Loki's direction and found herself more annoyed than ever and rather ashamed of herself, waving her body around like some sexy model when he DIDN'T EVEN LOOK. She just... she had wants and needs. Was it so wrong to have someone who would kiss you, make you feel good?

And yet, she had wrapped her arms around a man who had loved and cared for her would snuggle her and listen to her problems but when it came to anything more than that, he always broke away. Leaving the room or turning an exciting kissing match into a cuddle or changing the subject.

She knew she couldn't really do anything what with this whole mating for life but she was only human. Every time he walked away it made her feel like she wasn't good enough or that something was wrong with her... That's why she called it off. They'd been dating over a year now and even mentioning the M word would cause him to change the subject. Even though she knew he's reasons she couldn't live like that. She needed love now. She couldn't stand it anymore. It had been so stressful being so close to him and yet so far away...

Ceres slipped on a pair of black track pants and a red hoodie with fuzzy on the inside. She sat down beside Loki, not looking at him as she took a left over sweet potato and started munching on it.

She looked like she was about to cry.

This is stupid. Loki's a friend... He doesn't even remember that night and who knows if he really meant it then. You're grasping at a lost cause...When I get back, I should just pick a suitor and be done with it. I hate being me... She thought staring off into the flames.

It took a moment for Loki to snap out of his little trance. He shook his head and stood upright again, "Juno's probably wondering where we..." he stopped, looking at Ceres with concern, "are you alright?"

Ceres pulled her hood over her head, "I think you better go on without me. I'm suddenly not feeling too good..." She said putting down the sweet potato.

Loki gave her a look, "Do not say what you do not mean." he told her, "look at me"

She looked in his direction but her eyes hid behind the soft fluff of her hood. She couldn't bring herself to look at him, if she did she might start crying. "I..."

Loki flicked her hood out of the way and tilted her chin up to look him right in the eyes. Those beautiful and strange blue-green eyes, "I invited you here because I wanted to share this place with you. What have I done to upset you?"

Ceres felt her heart beginning to go pitter padder under the watch of those hypnotic eyes of his.
"It's... it's not you per say. I... I broke up with Eric..." She whispered, turning her eyes to the side.

Loki let go of her chin, "I was under the impression that everything was going well"

"On the surface it was. He was nice and caring but, cuddles can only get you so far. I may be a goddess but I'm also a woman. I have wants and... needs. Because I told him about the whole bond he would avoid the things I need in a relationship and whenever I mentioned marriage even in passing, he changed the subject.

It was fine at first by the last few months... I'd had enough. I wanted it to work...I really did. But, he won't take our relationship to the next step...We had a big fight and that's when I called it off. After a year of dating he won't even talk about marriage not even in theory... I couldn't take the stress anymore..." She sniffed. Clearly she'd been holding in her doudts about their relationship for quite sometime.

"I see..." He stepped back a little, then offered her his hand, "They I think you might need this trip more than ever. Come, let's meet Juno and have some fun. It will get your mind off things."

She looked up at him, "...Only if I get a hug." She said softly. She really just wanted to return under the futon.

Loki sighed, looking rather on the fence about it for a moment before suddenly grinning and scooping her up in a big hug, "Of course"

"Ah <3" She giggled, hugging him back. After a moment she pulled away, "Thanks." She smiled lightly. "Just let me grab my coat."

Loki smiled back at her and let her grab her coat before they headed for the door.

Juno was waiting with 3 sets of snow boots and 3 snowboard. One Dark green, one dark blue and one dark pink, along with matching boots

"I'm impressed. I though it would have taken you much longer to wake the rose bud up." Juno said. "Alright, I've just finished checking our equipment. Let's get started." Juno helped them put on their boots and explained how they were taken off and on and how they were adjustable.

"This feels really weird." Ceres said standing in the skii boots. "I can't move my ankle at all."
"That's the point. No twisted ankles... You'll get the hang of it. How are you doing Loki?"

Loki had the boots on and seemed equally perplexed, "This does not seem like a very good idea..."

"When you're riding the slopes, you'll be thankful for them." Juno was also wearing them. She placed a pink skater helmet on Ceres' head. "Alright now you take your board..." Juno explained how to lock your boots into the board, "Any questions before we move on to the next step in our lesson?"

"No, I've got it."

Loki took a moment but he figured out how to get set up. He raised a brow at the helmet then tossed his own aside.

"Alright, step two." Juno placed a hand on each of them and teleported near the bottom of the bunny hill. "So, attach your boots to the board... good. When going doing a hill it's important to do it in a zig zag pattern. You don't have to do it all the way but this keeps you in control of your board. So to turn you have to lean with your whole body. Forward and back. Do it with me. Back and forth. For now until you're more comfortable with the board use your hands to counter balance." She said making the motions you do to turn. "Now watch me and try to follow. We're gonna do big and wide zig zags to start with alright? Nice and slow." Juno said starting to go down the hill with Loki and Ceres following.

This all seemed a little ridiculous to the king of Yodenheim but he went along with it for now. It didn't take him long to get the hang of it though.

Ceres wiped out a couple times when it came to stopping, just before her board would come to a complete stop she'd fall backwards onto her bum. Each time she laughed.

After the lesson, Juno took them to the top of the bunny hill for some runs. "Ok. Remember what I taught you. See you at the bottom." She said heading off first with Ceres following.

"YAHOOOOO!" Ceres yelled, this was rather fun.

Loki got the hang of it rather quickly, "It's just like Vernith gliding" he declared, "Except, well, the board is not alive and we are gliding down snow as opposed to lava" Evidently his previous hobbies were of a much more dangerous nature.

Juno had made a ramp and went off it, doing a 360 spin before they made it to the bottom.

"Sounds intense." Juno said when they all got to the bottom. Ceres falling over on her bottom after she stopped.

"That was... AWESOME." She smiled widely.

Loki glided in a circle around the two before coming to a stop with a laugh, "You should try it some time Juno, though I think Ceres might only get herself killed" he added in a very audible whisper.

"I heard that!" She said getting up with a pout on her face. "And I'd pass anyways."
