Loki chuckled and then a rumbling could be heard. He turned to see what it was only to come face to face with a very angry looking beast that stood about two stories tall. It snarled and moved to try and bite Loki's head off.
Oddly enough the half azgardian just stared up at it.

"LOKI!" Ceres jumped at Loki, pushing him out of the way. The Beast's jaw wrapped around the helmet on Ceres' head and lifted her up by it.

"HEY!" Juno yelled at the beast, "DROP HER!" She boomed.

The beast growled and shook it's head, flinging Ceres away and sniffing the air before turning back to where Loki had been shoved into the snow.

Ceres flew into the snow much like a rag doll.

Juno jumped in front of Loki, her weapon on hand. "NO. Bad Beast." She growled. "Be gone with you!"

The creature howled in her face.
"It's a Warg" Loki spoke quickly, "once they catch a scent they do not stop until it is dead."

"Right, tend to Ceres." Juno ordered. Ceres hadn't moved once she'd landed in the snow bank.

"Sorry big guy. I'm gonna have to put you down." Juno said launching herself at the beast.

Loki got back to his feet and began moving towards Ceres but the beast immediately moved to follow, seemingly quite intent on ripping Loki's face off.

Juno charged, cutting at the beast legs one after another.

It turned to Juno and snarled, swatting at her.

Loki came up next to Ceres and patted her on the cheek, "hey, Ceres, are you alright?" at least there was plenty of snow to break her fall.

Juno teleported and appear a few feet above the beast and slid down it's back on her board, cutting away at it's flesh.

Most of Ceres' body had been buried from the impact. Her helmet was cracked and a bit of blood was running down the side of her head.

She was in shock when Loki came over and once he patted her cheek she started to snap out of it. "L-Loki?" Her eyes started to water. "I thought... I thought was gonna..." She mumbled, "I... I can't move my body." She said starting to panic.

"Hold still" Loki told her, "Do not try to move." he glanced back to see how Juno was doing.

Juno was doing fairly well. She'd gotten the beast to move away from Loki and Ceres.

She appeared at high above the beast and fell straight down, her scytle over her head. As she fell past the beast's head, her blade caught on the warg's neck causing her to spin around and around his neck, slashing his neck to pieces.

The beast fell and Loki called Juno over, "Teleport us back to the palace. I can help her there."

Juno didn't waste anytime. She rushed over and teleported them. But by doing so, she brought all the snow that had been packed around Ceres. She fell on top the snow bed, crying.

"Ceres, look at me." Juno said kneeling down, taking her helmet off. Nothing serious just cut from the helmet being crushed but there was still a good amount of blood in her hair. "It's ok, Rose bud. It's ok."

Loki summoned a small group of spriglings and then took Juno's arm and pulled her away from Ceres. The little creatures surrounded the pink haired girl and began chittering away. The snow surrounding her began to melt and shimmer and miraculously as it began to steam away, Ceres' injuries began to heal as well.

Ceres started to calm down as the magic flowed over her. It was warm. Was this what it felt like when she healed people's wounds?

She slowly began to sit but but the little guys didn't seem to be stopping. "Thank you little guys-" She froze and quickly grabbed her chest falling back against the floor.

"Loki, tell them to stop. Loki!" Juno said. Apparently the little guys noticed the foreign magic and were trying to remove it.

"Stop" Loki ordered firmly, the spriglings looked confused though, why wouldn't they fix everything? "I said STOP! Gsik!" he snapped and they finally backed off.

Juno rushed over and pulled the layers off of Ceres would was laying on the ground breathing heavily in a daze.

She lifted up Ceres' shirt and blinked, "...What the..." Her jewel looked lighter somehow.

Loki tilted his head to the side, "... I thought you said there was nothing that could cleanse her stone"

"Nothing in the realm of Midgad, nothing to our knowledge. Mind you, my sisters and I only know as much about the realms as we built... We didn't build it all... This could be temporary for all we know."

"Juno... stop showing Loki my lacy blue bra..." She mumbled placing her hands on her chest. "It's embarrassing."

"Ceres, do you feel anything? Different at all?" It was clear Ceres was a little out of it.

"HUh?....Lighter I think."

"... perhaps they should continue" Loki wondered.

"Perhaps... Maybe we should let her rest for awhile first." She questioned.

"Agreed" Loki dismissed the spriglings and they all ran off. He seemed distracted though, in fact, he had been a little distracted since before they arrived and it was like nothing phased him. A monster sent to kill him, one of his own people being killed in the courtyard, clearly there was plenty of civil unrest here and yet all he seemed to want to do was smile and have fun with Ceres and Juno-like none of it mattered.

Juno had noticed this before and it was making her more and more concerned for Loki's well being. They went upstairs and slipped Ceres under the blanket on the futon and a pillow and let her sleep it off.

"Ceres going in there and messing with your soul really did a number on you didn't it?" Juno asked after she was sure Ceres had dozed off.

Loki had taken a seat by the fire, "... I suppose it may have changed me a little..." he replied, staring into the embers, "But quite honestly... I do not care... I do not care that people are trying to kill me. I do not care what they think of me. I do not much care about this entire place. I kept going on with the plan that got me here because... that was the plan. Now I do not have much of a plan left to follow..."
