As soon as she had crawled out from under the computer again, a ghost-like image of a very old Bruce Wayne appeared behind her. "BOO"

Ciara was running a list of things that she'd need to do in order to get help. Repair the solar panels, and whatnot. She nearly threw herself up on the keyboard of the large computer when a very old Bruce Wayne appeared. "AH- Sweet Neptune! What the..." She held her chest, calming her breathing.

Bruce laughed and leaned against his holographic cane, "Gotchya. Ah, that never gets old. And apparently neither do you Ms. McHale. Time travel again I presume. What is it this time? You can tell me, I'm just a computer program these days after all. Nothing for Horatio to worry about"

Ciara expression turned much more grim on the mention of Horatio. "...Somewhere in the future...I'm not quite sure, Gotham City is no more so very far into the future..." She leaned against the console. "I... gods, Horatio." She wrapped her arms around herself.

"Gotham's still here" Bruce stated, "it's people are merely more lost than ever. The boy tried to tell me that it was hopeless once. I still refuse to believe that. I'll never abandon this place and from what I've seen that boy won't abandon you. He'll be back, he always comes back to you."

She shook her head, "You don't understand... They wiped Gotham off the map... There's nothing left. Wiped from the time line. Everything erased... In an second. Even him..." A tear rolled down her face as she said it, "He might be out there still... he has to be..."

Bruce paused, looking thoughtful as he checked his databases. Suddenly he raised his cane and pointed accusingly across the room, "WHAT is HE doing here?" he demanded as Logan stepped into the main room, "I told you once, I told you a THOUSAND times, Never, NEVER bring people to bat cave!" he swung his cane at Ciara.

Ciara covered her head, reacting as she would if an actual crane. "I had no choice! We're in a time I've never been in and this was the only place I knew might still be in one piece. His wife needs help." She yelled back, but still holding her hands over her head.

"Well at least show a little discretion, make him wait outside, I don't care. This is my home damnit" Bruce grouched on.

Logan walked over and waved his hand through the hologram, "Hm. Everything okay Drip?"

"You stubborn old man!" She yelled back before she noticed Logan. "Oh yeah... Everything is fine.." She said, looking rather distant. "Just having fight with an old man... The terrain and landscape outside is completely different from your time. I don't think he'd be able to locate it on his own again...." She said trying to reassure him.

"In any case, we'll be staying till we can get help. How is she?" She asked, looking around, trying to find something to fix... anything to keep her mind off of the current events.

Of course Ciara wasn't fine. She'd just been kidnapped, tortured and then slapped in the face with the fact that her boyfriend's past wife was alive. She witnessed so much gore and horror. Those poor people, killed and put into such rude and disgusting poses. Or maybe they were killed in those poses. She didn't know. But what she did know is that the smell who never truly go away. It had been so overwhelming.

And all that had kept her going was the thought of Horatio coming to rescue her. To hold her and tell her it was alright. But when Logan came through that door. She wanted him to hold her. Take her away from that place. Run his hand through her hair while he held her close... But now his wife was back. And herself move further and further away from Logan..

And not only had he tortured her but then he promised her a life in WWII. And Eric's memories had come flooding back to her. The burning, the mud, the abuse... She'd thought she'd locked most of those away but now they lingered as she tried to keep a grip on things.

Logan raised a brow at the flickering image of old Bruce Wayne before he turned to Ciara to answer he question, "She ain't looking good Drip. There's not much left in here either, looks like most of the medical's been raided and I ain't sure about what's still sterile and what ain't. Using the wrong stuff could make her worse if we're not careful." he ran a hand through his hair, looking around the room but not really seeing anything that was there. His eyes searched for answers that he didn't even know the proper questions to.

Meanwhile Ciara's head began to pound as though someone were banging on a metal wall in her head and it echoed through her ears.

Great. A headache. Just want she needed. "Let me have a look at it. Bruce when did this place get trashed?" She asked trying to figure out how much time had gone by. Maybe Bruce could estimate or had an internal clock on the computer that always kept the right time and date.

As she headed over to the room, the pounding was harder to ignore"Mmmfh..." She said, rubbing her temple and stopping.

"Some years back" Bruce replied, "I can't be too sure, I've been offline for too long to know where most of the damage came from. At some point about seventy years back the last no-good excuse for a Batman abandoned Gotham when it needed him most. Everything's fallen to pieces since then and I can't convince anybody to come back. In my day when you had something that was broken you damn well stuck around until it was fixed!" he waved his cane madly.

Logan ignored the old man and walked over to Ciara, placing his hands on her shoulders, "Are you alright Drip?" he asked with concern.

The pain throbbing in Ciara's head was like someone was screaming in her ears. Trouble was that there was no noise and only the leftover ache of it.

Ciara fell to one knee, and grit her teeth. "No..My head...Something...." What was going on? 'what was causing this...Horatio...Could it be horatio?...'

Like an ax splitting open her skull, Horatio's voice screamed in her head. Blood pounded in her ears as though he were pounding on her ear drums with his fists. There were no words, only an inhuman screech that drown out all other senses.

What felt like hours later, but was really only seconds, Logan held Ciara in his arms, looking at her as though he feared for her life. "Drip-Ciara!" he called to her, "Ciara can you hear me? Ciara?!"

She was hunched over on her knees, gripping her head, her mouth open in a silent scream, her eyes slammed shut. 'HOratio?! What.are.you.doing.to.me...Gods.Horatio.stop.Horat io.Get out of my head. Get out. Why are you screaming?! Horatio, HORATIO!' All she could think about was that she wanted to throw Horatio out of her head and across the room.

If she'd been able to look at this moment from afar, it would remind her of the story about Zeus and Artemis. Where Zeus got a terrible headache to the point the gods ripped his head in two and out popped Artemis.

As suddenly as it had started, it ended and the silence of the cave seemed like a dead grave in comparison to the scream that had just been ringing in her ears.

She was covered in a cold sweat when it ended. She froze for a moment, '...Horatio?...' "Horatio. HORATIO!" She said and each time getting louder and louder. "ANSWER ME DAMN IT! HORATIO! Where...were did you go?..." She mumbled.

"You heard him?" Logan questioned, kneeling down with her in his arms so that she could at least sit there, "What's going on Drip?"

"I...I dunno." She pulled away from him as she spoke. "It was like an echo....and then it got louder and louder... I think. I think it might have been Horatio during the explosion...But, I don't understand why I would hear him. I mean, our connection doesn't work that way... I think. Oh hell I don't know how it works." She got up, stumbled a little bit. Batting Logan's hand away when he tried to stabilize her, "I'm fine." She said firmly. "Now... let's have a look at these IVs."

Most of them were no good but Ciara was able to find a good one, behind a half collapsed wall, in a half battered cabinet. She hooked the woman up without a single word. She turned to old Bruce when she was done. "So... What needs to be repaired first?"

"Over here" Bruce waved his cane away towards the far wall. Meanwhile Logan pulled up a crate next to his wife's bed and took her hand.

Ciara paused at the door and looked at them for a moment; Logan's back to the door. She gripped the door frame. They looked lovely together... Perfect even... Horatio had lovely parents....

Ciara followed Bruce over to the far wall. Even in his computer form, she was sure he could probably still pick up her ques of when something wasn't right but didn't want/ know how to talk about it.

Bruce began instructing her on how and what to fix with things. After a little while he leaned on his cane nearby and just watched her for a moment as she worked on winding some bare-striped wires together, "blue to green... to Greeeen girl, there ya go. So how long are you going to brood about them?"

Ciara gave him a look, "Who says it's just them I'm brooding about?" She sighed, sliding down the wall, continuing to reattach wires. "...Frig Bruce. The man proposed to me like not even a week ago. And I pretty much made up my mind in Gotham when it was isolated that there was no way to be with him and tried to move on... And all this shit happened with Pietro... And Diablo he...." She brushed her hand through her hair and bit her lip. "...He forced me to call Horatio... He tortured me... By throwing me horrific places in time... And then he said he would..." She took a deep breath and shook her head, "That he'd send me to the WWII camps..." She began to rock a little, clearly trying to keep herself from breaking down. "And the thought of going back there... to that time... I couldn't... And then she shows up and now...I ....I can't..."
