She put a hand on his shoulder and wrote out, "You've given me hope, Alfred. But I could use some help opening the front door. And perhaps let them know I'll be there in about... 5 hours or so?"

He smiled a little and nodded, "I believe my Butler duties require me to open the door for you anyway. I wouldn't want to neglect what I am being paid for"

Ciara giggled and a wide smile came across her face. She gave him a peck on the cheek and mouthed the words, "Thank you, Alfred." Before getting up, it was going to be tricky once she got to Manhattan. Lots of moving people... And hopefully she remembered where the Baxter Building was located.

Alfred smiled back at her and then walked her to the door and opened it for her. At least the mansion tended to have a rather large amount of mirrors-each set up so that in case of a home invasion, Bruce could navigate himself around without being seen.

The trek up to Manhattan wasn't easy. Lots of people and lots of cars. It wasn't too bad by the highway. But inside Manhattan was a nightmare. It was like she couldn't take 5 steps without being pushed back 6. Not to mention that Manhattan had changed a great deal since she was last there.

Finally she stood in front of the Baxter Building, feeling very alone and alienated. It wasn't easy working around people who couldn't see you. How that man had done it for so long she had no idea. Ciara looked up at the building, now how on earth was she suppose to get in.

Along the way to the building there was a strangely sudden wind that whipped passed, accompanied by a blur of movement. A moment later it came back and then stopped. Pietro stood by the road that lead to Manhattan and looked around in confused, scratching his head before he sped off again, only to return right next to Ciara and look around confused again.
After a moment of thought he began running in circles around her, his eyes lighting in surprise as they locked upon the water mutant. "Ciara?" he questioned in confusion, his voice somehow breaking through to her ears, although it sounded choppy and distant. The wind that was blowing about due to his running was whipping up Ciara's hair, but apparently as he moved he could see her.

Ciara quickly cover her head, not sure what the sudden gust of wind was. Had that man followed her? Was he going to take her away before she could get help.

She opened her eyes when she heard his choppy voice and looked at the blur circling her, "Pietro?!" She asked, "You can see me?"

Pietro cocked his head to the side, "you sound weird" he replied, "why can I only see you when I'm moving? Umm, lemme try something" he stopped and took in a deep breath, concentrating as his eyes shut very tight, "uuuhhgg... ah!" his whole body began vibrating, trembling a bit awkwardly but at least managing to stay at the pace where they could interact, "Not sure how long I can keep this up" he wiggled his fingers carefully, "but at least I'm not causing a whirlwind. What's going on?"

"Everyone on Genosha is stuck in an alternate dimension cause some mutant thought we'd be safer that way. It's on a different frequency then yours. I was on my way to see Reeds Richards but I can't interact with anything from your dimension... I missed you!" She blurted out, glomping him without much thought to it. "I thought I may never see you again, Speedy."

Pietro felt a bit strange to the touch, but at least he was touchable. He smiled a bit and hugged her back, "um, okay. So just another average day then? Need a lift to Richards?"

Ciara held onto him tightly. Almost afraid he'd disappear if she did. She nodded, "If you could get me to the top of this building to his place, that would be great." She pointed at the building in front of them. "...What are you doing here anyways, Speedy?"

Pietro took off with her, "I was just speeding through. I've been on a bit of a round the world trip" he shrugged as they appeared up on top of the building.

"Been enjoying not needing a passport I see. Could you um... knock for me?- Wait, why are you not still mad at me?"

"You're stuck in an alternate frequency or something. Kinda hard to be mad at someone who barely exists." he replied as he knocked.

A moment later a woman with blond hair opened the door and glanced around. Pietro stopped vibrating and waved to her, "Yo. There's a girl here to see the doc?"

She raised a brow, looking at Pietro.

Pietro smacked himself in the face, "Not me. Obviously I'm a guy damnit. She's invisible!"

"... right" the woman replied with a gesture, "ah, please come in." she hit the intercom button on the wall, "Reeds, there's someone here to see you"

"Oh..." She trailed off, her heart sinking a little bit. So he was still mad... Boys SUCKED! She also blushed deeply when she realized Pietro was like a big vib- >///<

She kept close to Pietro. She felt rather nervous seeing Mr. Fantastic after all these years...Kinda, alternate dimensions kinda got in the way.

"AHA!" Reeds strode into the room, carrying a large amount of mirrors among his stretched out limbs. He set them up around the room and quickly located Ciara, "Ciara McCoy!" he exclaimed happily, "So good to see you again! how are you? Oh wait, you can't hear me, right, he mentioned you couldn't hear us. That is why I fooouunnndd THIS!" he pulled out a large white board from the other room, reaching around the building until he also had a dry-erase marker and began writing everything he just said out.

Ciara took a step behind Pietro. Something she'd done as a child when he came bursting into the room but after reading what he wrote on the white board she relaxed and giggled before waving hello.

"And you are?" Reeds turned to Pietro.

"Pietro" the speedster replied, "I'm not staying long"

"Why did you come along?" Reeds questioned.

"when I'm moving quickly I can see and hear her" he shrugged, "just ran into her on my way by."

"Realy?!" Reeds moved over to him, looking him over, "That may of help here. Please, the two of you, come up to my lab. I have an idea" he also wrote this on the board.

Ciara watched as they exchanged words but it was just like watching a silent film. He was probably gonna speed off soon anyways-..Or not. She was happy he was staying a bit long but as soon as this was done, he'd be gone again. And that thought made her sick to her stomach.

She followed him up to his lab. It was like walking into a whole new world. Every Scientist had a different layout for their lab. Different equipment, different everything.

Reeds had already equipped the walls of the lab with a whole load of mirrors, white boards and chalk boards. "Now, Pietro, if you would be so kind as you step into this device" he gestured to a large metalic thing, "I need to adjust it to the correct frequency at which Ciara is currently at."

Pietro looked skeptical. He turned to Ciara, returning to the state which he could speak to her in, "You trust this guy Ci?" he asked uncertainly.

"Hm? Oh.." She had been looking off, rather distant. She nodded, "Yes, he's a dear friend of Big Blue's. I trust him."

Pietro frowned, "I don't like it." he turned back to Reeds and then stepped into the device, "Make it quick Doc."

Reeds nodded and after awhile of collaboration and tuning he finally let Pietro out again. "All done!" he grinned widely before writing out on the white board next to Ciara, "Step onto his platform please"

She nodded and rubbing her arm got up onto the platform. She took a deep breath. "Ready."

Reeds hit a few buttons and turned a few nobs before grinning widely, "Perfect!" he exclaimed, and Ciara could actually hear his voice, "Can you hear me?"

"Y...YES! I can hear you!" She sighed, "You have no idea how hard it is to talk through Ouji board style writing."
