"And what of the mutants who aren't on Genosha? Who are born on the land? Do we simply leave them to fend for themselves? Watch as we're helpless to save them from the slaughter that is to come if we disappeared?... No matter how much we want to we can't run away. No matter where we go, they will find us. And it isn't just mutants anymore Michael. During my trip to Doctor Richards' place I noticed news papers titles... The purifiers are attacking ANYONE who is related to a mutant. Mothers, daughters, Grandparents, children. Everyone blood related to a mutant. We've been so busy taking care of our own when we should have been looking at protecting our families... Not just mutant members but the whole family.

These people wouldn't stop just because we're gone. They'll continue to weed out anyone who they don't see fit. They already ran the sea red with Altantian blood.

Micheal," She moved her chair a bit closer, stopping just before where his hands rested on the invisible bars, "They'd find us in that realm. Simply move the world around us and corner us. Or what happens when our buildings fall? What will we do when people we love are trapped under neath the rubble and we are powerless to help them. I know you believe what you're doing is right and I understand. But you have to look at the bigger picture, at all the possibilities and outcomes that can occur...

We're people Micheal... People don't just go away..."

"I'll find them!" he protested, "I'll find them all! We can all live in my world forever, safe! He told me it was the only way to stop the bloodshed. No more people have to die. If I can survive there than so can the others. They won't know where we've gone, they won't know how to find us."

Ciara stood up, concern on her face, "Who told you? Who told you it would stop the bloodshed?"

He hesitated a moment before replying, "my... my father did."

"Your father? What's your father's name, Micheal?"

"Timothy" he replied hesitantly, "I doubt you know him."

She shook her head lightly, "I'm afraid I haven't met him. But our fathers aren't always right..." Ciara sat down, feeling a bit tired. "Is he here on Genosha as well?"

"No" he looked away.

"Oh my" Emma sat up, looking at the boy before turning her eyes to Ciara, "He's a purifier."

"He didn't kill me now did he?" Michael blurted, "He's a double agent. He's working against them."

Ciara looked alarmed for a moment but then looked to Michael as he spoke and got up, a bit calmer. "Then he could help us stop them. I know we've been working on stopping them but I was... kept in the dark about most of it. Just sit tight Michael. Everything will work out alright..." Ciara's head was starting to pound, a early warning that she need to re-hydrate herself. Ciara walked out of the room and as soon as she was out of sight, she dropped the appearance that she was alright.

Rubbing her head with one hand, she filled a couple pitchers with water and slide down the wall to the floor, a few rooms away from the smelly kitchen. 'You gotta stop putting others before yourself,' she heard Big Blue's Doctor voice ring in her head. This happened every now and then. And Big Blue knew when it was happening by little things she'd start to do. Try to sit down, less willing to talk things out, her pinkie finger would start twitching slowly and the head ache. Gods the head ache.

She sucked on the straw, forcing herself not to gulp it all down like a fish out of water. Oh right. People were invisible. Big Blue probably watched the signs come around and was most likely watching over her. She did a thumbs up, letting them know she was gonna be ok.

After a little while Emma came out of the room to find Ciara, "Okay, first of all, that kid is royally messed up. I don't think we're going to be able to use his so-called daddy connections. From what I've seen in his head, the kid's delusional and the purifiers are going to be here tonight. We don't have any time for this..." she looked Ciara over, "whatever this is. All hands on deck."

Ciara sighed, "I was afraid he might be which means he was probably part of their plan to being with... Some parents just make me sick." She got up, the head ache a little bit less. But she pushed it back. "Alright. Pietro's out of commission and we have a whole population such in a different realm and now blood thirsty killers are coming over for dinner...." Ciara headed back to her room, motioning Emma to follow." We need to evacuate all citizens, the sound system is useless without power... I'll have to do a manual evacuate signal and get the hydro dam back up and running," Ciara turned her back to Emma and suited up, there was no time to be modest. " We'll be sitting ducks in the darkness... Storm, we need cover. Think you can wipe up some fog around the island? Emma, take Pietro to head quarters, once the signal flares go at the dam all available hands will go there.

Once you both do that, contact every friend we have in the book. We need all the help we can get," Ciara marched out the door, summoning a large string ray of water in front of her, a very determined face on her usually lovely face. "And hurry. May the gods smile upon us this day..." And with that she hurried off to the dam.

Storm nodded and took off to do her part, Emma crossed her arms, listening and watching Ciara take off. "Hm... who put her in charge?" she mumbled to herself as she strutted off to do as Ciara said.

Ciara rode like the wind to the hydro dam and within an half an hour's time, large red and orange fireworks filled the sky.

The power on the other hand... weeds had gone into the vent. And she had to go find some gas to get the back-up generator working so the dam turbines would start moving.

"Finally!" She sighed, as the lights all over the island lit up starting from the hydro dam all the way down to the water. She checked her watch, 3 and a half hours had gone by. The sun was beginning to set.

"How are we doing?" She asked rushing into the war room.

"We have sufficient cloud cover and reinforcements are on the way" Storm informed her, "I called everyone I could think of. Fantastic four, Justice League, everyone. They're sending who they can."

"And one's already here" The Flash gave her a salute, "sorry it took so long, I was up on the station. Those rocket ships are slooowww."

"I put Michael in a coma" Emma commented, "he won't get in our way at least now."

Ciara really wished Scott was in the current realm, he was good at the battle stuff. She was only good up to a point. "Good, now we can-" Ciara paused and turned her head to the side and a wide grin crossed her face. "THE FLASH!" She took hold of her hands, "Thanks goodness, another speed demon. You're just what we need to bring people back!"

"Eh?" the Flash cocked his head to the side, "Well well" he grinned, "No need to brag, but I am pretty awesome-wait, another one? Who else was here? What happened to him?" he looked around confused.

"Pietro." She motioned him to follow her down the hallway and into the infirmary. "Micheal has the ability to pull people into a different dimension that co-exisits with ours. You can see everything that happens but you can't interact or hear anything from this realm. Pietro over used his powers, bring a bunch of us back and forcing Micheal back into this realm... Now he can't stop vibrating." She pulled back the curtain. "Hey Speedy, any improvement?"

Pietro was sitting at the side of the bed, apparently testing himself carefully to see if he could at least function like this. "eh? Y-yeah. I'm not barfing everywhere anymore..." he stopped as his eyes turned to who was with Ciara, "O.O woah. Dude, Woah! You're the Flash!" he exclaimed.

"That I am" the red-clad man stood proudly, "And you're... freaking out my vision O.o"

"Err, sorry about that" Pietro scratched the back of his head, "Can't stop. It's kind of freaking out my vision to. But damn! you're the freaking Flash! I so challenge you to a race when this is over!"

"You're on!" Flash grinned.

Ciara couldn't help but grin at the two. "Doctor Richards is on his way, hopefully he'll be able to figure out how to get Pietro to stop shaking- Pietro, don't you dare get out of that bed, mister." She warned, advancing on him. "You may not be barfing but you're in no shape to be up and about."

Pietro looked back at ciara, the smile on his face turning more serious, "How long before the Purifiers get here? Not long I bet. We need as many people out there as we can right now because if they show up before our backup we're screwed. If I can stand, I can fight. This is my home to."

She sighed, "Stubborn, just like Papa. Alright but don't do anything crazy ok? Flash, let bring some friends back."

After gathering all the alternative dimension X squad members via mirrors and sign language. Ciara clicked the belt on, "Okay, we're ready. Everyone should be holding hands. Think you're up for the task, Mr. Flash?" She said grinning.

Flash glanced around the mirrors, "Alright.... but maybe not too many at once. We've already seen what happens if I overextend myself, right?"
He gestured a bit to the others, taking only three or four at a time and managing to bring back Magneto, Namor, Scott, Beast, Phil, and a few others. After about eighteen people though he had to stop. Shaking his head the Flash waved away the others, "Whew!" he panted, "I haven't had a good workout like that in ages."

"I beat. Pietro was the same way. But it's good to be able to push yourself every now and then. Then we get stronger." She smiled and gave him a light peck on the check, "Thank you, Mr. Flash." She turned to Scott, "Scott, I hereby pass on the leadership role. You're much better with the fighting side. Did we get everyone out of the city?"

"Oh please, It's just Flash" he waved with a smile.

Scott nodded to her, "Thank you Ciara, you've done very well" he commended her, "We've gotten most people out, but even so they don't know where to go and what they can do. Most of them are just fed up being so damned helpless. They need reassurance and stability more than ever right now and we can't give them that until the threat has been taken care of"

"Aw shucks, Scott." She said rubbing the back of her head, "I was just following what I thought you might do in this situation."

Ciara frowned, "As soon as this threat is over, we'll start bringing everyone back. I know full well how it feels to be helpless.." It's not like a good chuck of her life was being protected by the other mutants as aliens... other mutants... and various other groups attacked. And laying around for over a month recovering from wounds.

"What's our next move, General Summers?" She asked, a wide grin on her face, ready to follow him into battle.
