Nate was actually Mr. Sinister in disguise! Isn't that the silliest thing you've ever heard?" She sipped her tea, sitting on the couch.

Forge raised an eyebrow in curiosity as he took his coffee, "That is... very weird. Ah... Ciara, I'm sorry to say this but this isn't exactly a social call" he sighed, glancing at his watch again, "I also had a weird dream last night, and this morning I could't shake this weird feeling so I started digging into Genosha's security systems. I just need to ask... did you set off your distress beacon last night? By accident maybe?"

Ciara paused, "...That happened in my dream-" She put her tea down and rushed upstairs and found her bag. No comic book. She pulled out her cellphone. No text from Emma. Quickly she texted Lance, "Do you guys have those comic books I was reading yesterday? The Mr. Sin ones?"

"Miss Frost, this is gonna sound weird but did I text you yesterday?" She texted, also checking her wallet to see if the cash was still there.

Lance texted back shortly what comics?

As a matter of fact, I recall you interfering with my lunch date, yes Emma responded.

"So this dream" Forge leaned forward anxiously, "about Nate being Mr. Sinister..."

Ciara's face turned pale. "...It wasn't a dream. He's trying to cover his tracks."

Nate is Mr. Sinister. I confronted him yesterday. He's trying to cover his tracks. She quickly texted back before throwing open her laptop. " Shit. He's gonna go after the comic book writer...What the hell?... No internet?! Damn it."

Ciara dialed a number on her cell, "Oracle. I need a favor."

"Hey Ciara, what's happening?" Oracle replied.

"I'll call in the team and get an APB out on him" Forge stated quickly on his way to the door.

"You know Nate, that guy who's been working with my Dad? Turns out he's actually Mr. Sinister. Which is something I wish wasn't true but... The way I found out was this comic book. Mr. Sin issue 12. It showed things I've already done... Even what I was thinking at the time. Now I'm afraid Mr. Sinister is gone after him. I need to locate this mutant writer and fast! And... I think he disconnected my internet."

"Lemme guess, a comic book writer going by the pen-name Samuel Wess?" Oracle guessed in reply, "that's the case Batman's been busy working on. Apparently you're not the only subject he's been writing about."

"How did you- ...Is that what he's doing in Japan?" She asked, changing outfits.

"You guessed it." she replied, "I'll alert him on the situation with Mr. Sinister. I'm guessing you're on your way?"

Ciara finished putting on the string ray outfit. "String Ray, reporting for duty." She stated, pushing the button on her goggles which lit up and connected her directly to Oracle. "Now I just need to go hi-jack one of our jets." She purred, "Which will be a snap for this suit. An over reding program built into my gloves finger tip.. Priceless. <3"

"Never figured you for the thieving type" Oracle chuckled, "I've uploaded the coordinates to the smaller jet."

"Technically I'm not stealing. I have full access but with the whole Nate being Sinister thing, I'm sure Scott won't let me leave without explaining further, which... I don't really have time for..." She said on her way over to the X-Squad Headquarters.

"Fair enough. You might want to make it snappy though, it looks like Forge has figured out I'm trying to get into the system and he's locking me out-which means he likely knows you're about to leave as well and the x-squad is on their way to intercept"

Ciara grinned, "Keep them busy. I'm almost there." She said as she pulled the grate off the air duct. Within 5 mins she was slipping into the ship. "Do you think if I bank enough hours, Batman will get me a little flying craft of my own?"

"I will neither confirm nor deny the creation of a sting-ray aircraft" Oracle replied, "X-squad on your six, opening bay doors now."

"Tee hee." She giggled at the thought. "That man sure knows how to spoil us. <3" She strapped herself in, "Closing jet hanger doors, engines on, prepared for take off." Normally there was a series of checks to do but not when you can clearly hear Scott yelling as the door closes on the door. "Uh oh... Looks like I'm gonna be grounded when I get back."

"Ciara McCoy, you are clear for launch-by no one but me. I suggest you keep your flight on manual control just in case Forge tries to hijack you back."

"Right..." Ciara's hands began to get a little sweaty. "Did I mention this is typically my first time flying one of these?" She stated as she moved the craft to take off. "I mean, I've done the simulations and I understand how it works but..."

"Take a deep breath in and let it out slowly" Oracle immediately spoke up, "This is just another simulation. You've done all your checks and you have the Go for take-off. Just think, systematically, what's next?"

Ciara took a breath and started flicking switches and nobs and got the jet up in the air. "...That... that wasn't so bad. Though I'm sure they're gonna try and follow me."

"Not until Forge can get passed my firewalls and viruses" Oracle replied, "which should take at least half an hour"

"Orcale, when this is over, remind me I owe you chocolates and dinner." She grinned with delight.

"I hope you know that I record everything we say to each other and that clip is going straight into my important files" Oracle chuckled, "It shall not be forgotten."

"I hope not. I do try to keep my promises."
