Sinister smirked down at her as they began to plumet towards the water-and then suddenly they weren't falling but they weren't standing on anything either. Mister Sinister was the only thing keeping them afloat.
"You really didn't think this through, did you now?" he chuckled, "what was the next part in your master plan to save the girl-after condemning her to die by plane-crash that is?"

Ciara looked up and nervously laughed, "I didn't think I would get this far?"

"Ummm Scott?"

Scott flicked the switch for the radio, "What is it Forge?" He asked, flying the Jet along with a small team.

"We might have a problem. I've regained control of the jet but..."
"But?"
"How far away are you from the jet?"
"About 5 mins, 2 if we increase speed."
"Well... There were 3 heat signatures on board... and now there's only one and the air lock is wide open."
"We're on it." Scott increased speed and swore under his breath. It was stupid of her to go like that. He was already worried about her and then the whole Nate thing happened. She was far from having a level head at this point. He just hoped they weren't too late.

"I know you're having fun Sir but... would you like us to bring the craft around?" Ruckus asked through Sinister's mind link.

"Not just yet Ruckus" Sinister replied with an audible laugh, "Lets see how long you can hold on?" he suddenly jerked, zipping through the air at top speed with pin-point turns and loops, you name it.

Ciara was screaming, terrified out of her mind of falling to her death. It was just as her hand was letting go that she burped out, "I'll do anything!"

"Sir. I don't mean to protest but there a large jet moving in fast. Probably the X-Squad..."

Sinister let her drop a good thirty feet before catching her again, "Very well, I'm done here" he replied to his minion as he flew off in the right direction to meet them. "We are going to have so much fun, Ciara"

"I hate you..." She whispered softly and she didn't say another word, surrendering herself. She whimpered. By the gods, what had she gotten herself into.
The hatch opened up and only it was visible, the rest of the craft was cloaked. Once her feet touched the floor, she collapsed, curling her body into a ball. Her body drained, her face covered in salty tears.

Kurt poofed a couple of them into the smaller craft and closed the airlock. After a quick search they found the girl.

"But there's no sign of Ciara?" Scott asked after getting the update. "Full sweep of the area."

"I'm not getting any signs of brain activity aside from ours" Emma chimed in, "If there is someone around, they're immune to telepaths."

Sinister signaled his men to bring them to his closest base off the shore of Realasia and soon they were loading ciara into a containment field.

Scott slammed his hands down on the console, "Damn it. Where are you Ciara?"

Ciara stumbled forward into the field and quickly moved to the back. After being stripped, patted down for devices, removed all jewelry and belongings, pressure washed in hot and cold water, dressed. She'd never felt so violated before in her life.

"Watch your step, Love," Gorgeous George chirped, his accent ringing loud and clear. "Hope you will be enjoying your stay with us."

It took awhile to get everything in order-apparently Mister Sinister had been expecting a different type of guest and had to rearrange his lab accordingly. Finally he took a seat in front of Ciara, giving her a look over before nodding, "Fill it with water"

Ciara backed up as the square prison began to fill with water. She banged on the glass, begging for him not to do this. She even tried to stop the water but the device around her neck wouldn't allow it. It also gave her a quick shock when she tried to use them. She let out a scream and almost passed out, falling to her knees.

"Ramrod! You set the collar too high."

It wasn't long before it was filled with water and Ciara let out all her air, trying to gasp for air but only getting water.

"Deactivating collar." Ruckus announced. And just as it did so, Ciara started to pulsate glow, curling into a ball as a bubble formed around it. This all taking roughly 5 mins to complete.

"Well, would you look at that?" G.G. commented.

Sinister leaned forward, watching her float in the water, "That is fascinating... Drain the water and wake her up. Lets see if the experiment repeats itself..."

The first time took awhile for them to figure out how to get her functioning again. She shoot up, turned her head and coughed up the rest of the water. Ciara struggled when they tried to put her back in but by the fourth time through, she had stopped.

It was on the 7th or 8th time round, that she barely moved when she came round. Her eyes rolled upward as she passed out.

"Success!" Sinister proclaimed, jumping to his feet, "This is a wonderful new development. She can't be drowned, can you imagine the benefits? If she could learn to control this state she could survive underwater like an Atlantean" he grinned, "Give her a rest for now. I have other things in mind for the morning."

"Would be pretty handy to not be able to drown." One of them commented before picking her up and taking her away.

Ciara woke up in a small room, no bigger than a walk in closet. All that was in the room was the bed she woke up in. A tray sat by the door. Water and a small loaf of bread. She hurried over to it and munched down. And as she chewed began to breakdown.
Scott...Charles...Miss Frost...someone...Help me. She knew no one could hear her thoughts.

They would never be able to find you Sinister's voice echoed in her mind, Even if they new where to look.

"Get out Nate! Stay out of my head!" She protested, holding her hands over her ears.

The door opened and Sinister walked in, taking the form of Nate, "why Ciara?" he asked, even though he was speaking he let his voice echo into her mind as well, "I thought we were friends. You know I would never do anything to hurt you"

Ciara withdrew to the back of the room, her hands held tightly to her chest. "You lied to me! All of was a lie. You never cared about me. All you cared about was having a toy to play with!" She yelled.

"But we're friends Ciara" Sinister stepped towards her, his eyes looking so kind and hopeful as he held his hand out to her, "Think of all the times we had together." Flashes of her times with Nate went reeling through Ciara's mind as Sinister brought them forward, "You trust me"

"I...I...do don't I?" She took a step forward. "We really were friends weren't we? It was all real wasn't it. You could have never knew how close we would get." The feelings that went along with all the images filled her up. All the loneliness and betrayal Logan had filled her with was now being replayed by Nate's kindness, his cheery smile.
"Nathan... I'm sorry. I should have known." She placed her hands on his chest and pulled herself close. "I mean... We're friends right?" She looked up, her eyes once again flashing red before returning back to normal.

"Exactly" He smiled down at her, taking her hands and holding her close, "No one else knows you the way that I do. Why don't you join me? Become one of my team? We'll never have to be at odds again"

She gripped his hands tighter. "I don't want to be anywhere else other than with you... You make me feel safe. I always want to feel like this.."She spoke softly, almost dream like. She got up on her tippy toes and kissed his cheek, "I would like that very much please."

"Perfect" His voice purred softly, "Now... there are a few things I would like to ask of you. You know I would never risk your safety, but if we're going to be working together, I need to know more about your abilities. I'm not going to make you sit on the sidelines like Scott always does. I want you to be a part of it all"

She grinned, "He never did let me out on the real missions... And I'm already comfy with you doing tests on me. As long as you promise we stop when I need a break, I'm alright with it. I still don't understand why Father never showed you my files. Burned in the manor my ass. Everything's triple back-up... He keeps them in the Family photos file.

"Ah" Sinister nodded, "that does explain it. Your father was always rather possessive of you. I can't help but wonder if there were things about you that he didn't even want you to know. No one back on Genosha wants you to reach your full potential. Don't you see how they've always been holding you back?"
