Scott had really wanted to not have to talk to Eric. With Ciara missing and everything... The man was a little tense.

"Eric? Are you in?" He called after knocking on the front door.

After a moment the door opened and Magneto came hovering down through the ceiling in his full Magneto gear, "What is it Scott?" he demanded impatiently, "I'm busy."

"I was wondering if you knew where Pietro was. I have a matter I would like to talk to him about."

"Pietro? ... oh" Magneto paused for a moment, his frustration fading briefly, "He's been spending a lot of time in his workshop. Head down the hall, I'll open the staircase for you" he turned to leave, "But Scott... tread carefully."

"Does he know about Ciara?" He asked, wanting to make sure he didn't say anything that would shake the metal house anymore than it already had.

"I believe so" Magneto nodded, "It's hard to tell if he's even listening to me anymore."

"I'll tread lightly." He put a hand on Eric's shoulder, "None of us seem to be taking the news very well..." He advanced down the hallway and down the staircase.

"Quick Silver? You down here?"

The place, was quite frankly a mess. There was fabric scattered about everywhere, mannequins, fully clothes but toppled over. Different designs that had clearly been well thought through at one time were now scattered pages across the floor, all left over from Pietro's tantrum before he'd left.
Now there at least was some paths through the debris but not a lot had changed. By the sounds of things, Pietro was in the other room adjacent to this one.

Scott readjusted his red glasses and made his way through the chaos. He stopped in the doorway of the next room and knocked on the frame. "Pietro. It's Scott. Could I have a min of your time?"

Pietro was moving around one particular Judy, trying to figure out some sort of outfit that really did not seem to be working for him, "For the last time I am NOT going to-" he stopped, looked at Scott oddly, "What the hell? Oh, so he's letting everybody down here now is he? Well if you want new boots you're outta luck, I got nothing. Zip. Zilch. I can't even make a stupid, piece of shit Victorian era corset without this stupid, cheap-ass boning poking through the material because guess what? I forgot to line the damn thing. I mean who does that? I've lost it I'll never make anything again" he threw the strips of plastic boning on the ground. Oddly enough, Scott's boots were starting to get worn down on.

He looked down at his boots but shook his head, "I didn't come to ask for new clothes Pietro. Come on, you need a break from this. I'll buy you lunch." He offered.

Pietro stopped and turned to Scott, suddenly he was right in front of the x-squad leader, eyeing him up and down, "Take a break? Buy me lunch? If it's not clothes then what do you want from me?" he questioned suspiciously.

Scott looked up and then back at Pietro, he had the feeling Pietro wasn't going to play along and got straight to the point. "Pietro, this isn't easy for me to say... Seeing as you cost me thousands of dollars in car repairs over the years but, well..." He took a deep breath, "You really impressed me when the Purifiers tried to invade. Your skill, bravery, teamwork skills...I was very surprised. You've really matured into a fine young man. Which is why..." He pulled out an X- squad comm-link. "I would be honored if you would join the team."

He looked at the com, then at Scott, then back and forth again, ".... you want me to be an x-geek?" he questioned, "What's the catch? Did my dad put you up to this?" Pietro accused, "because I swear if that man thinks he can keep meddling in my life..."

"Yes Pietro, I want you to be one of the X-geeks...Look I know we haven't gotten along in the past but you showed great protenional at the fight... Actually your father doesn't know. Nor does anyone else... yet. I thought I would leave that up to you to tell him. I don't need an answer right away. You can take as much time as you'd like. The offer has no expiry date."

Pietro gingerly took the com device, looking it over thoughtfully, "... what about the rest of the brotherhood?" he questioned, still eyeing Scott with uncertainty.

"This invite is for you only. When they show the instinctive that you have perhaps an invite will make it your way... Plus Ciara had been hinting that you'd changed since High school, something I didn't believe till the invasion."

Pietro turned away at the mention of Ciara, "Yeah, well, it ain't like she knows me that well." he put the com on a nearby table, "And you've got no idea what those brotherhood brats can do. You just don't know how to motivate them."

"You're right, I don't know what they're capable of.. Which is why I'm offering the position to the head of the brotherhood first..." Scott crossed his arms, changing the topic a little bit. "Look, I don't know what kind of relationship you two have but, she really does care about you. Possibly even crushing if Emma's womanly intention is correct which is usually always is..."

"Woah woah woah" Pietro started getting defensive, "Me and Ciara? Yeah, ha, right. She had that cute geeky thing going in high-school, maybe, but seriously? I barely even see her anymore. Besides, when she gets back, I doubt I'm the first on her list to visit."

"Pietro. I spent over a month sitting and pacing in Ciara's room trapped in an alternate dimension. I've seen all the clothes you've made for her. And the only reason you wouldn't be the first on her list is because she never thinks about what she needs or wants. She's always trying to look out for everyone else. Plus out of the two possible hook-ups she has going for her, I'd pick you over King of the Sea any day... And the only reason she went out with Logan is because he made the first move...

Anyways, I'll stop lecturing you... And thanks, for all the clothes. Even if they did have X-geek written on the tags."

Pietro couldn't help but smile slightly with his back turned to Scott. Just as Scott was reaching the door out Pietro slowly reached out and took the com up from the table again, then sped to cut off the red-eyed wonder, "Alright. One condition, it's all the brotherhood or none of it. They may be crude, childish and insane but if there's one thing you can always count on with them, it's loyalty. They're the most trustworthy people I've ever met. We've been at odds with you guys for a long time, so forgive me for not putting my life in your hands all of a sudden. I want to be with people I know."

"Interesting. Seeing how they haven't seen you since apparently Ciara told them of your hobby. I will grant them part-time status. When they're up to par they will become full time members. Fair?"

"Fine" Pietro replied, giving no comment on how he hadn't been to the Brotherhood in some time. He turned and sped back into the other room.

Scott paused at the door, "You know that offer for Lunch is still up for grabs... I'd also like to discuss you being on the rescue team for when we find Ciara..."
