((Uhg. This was not what was in my head when I was planning this out >_< lets skip back to Ciara))

((Yeah I thought as much.))

Ciara wrapped her arm around his neck, "Morning.... Is the tech alright? The boys handled it rather roughly."

"Ah, welcome back" Sinister greeted, "I'm sure I'll be able to manage. Good work."

"Thanks. I missed you..." She hugged him close. "I could only think of doubting everything on the way back here."

"Oh come now" he stroked her hair, "There's nothing to doubt. You know I've only told you the truth"

"I know...but still..." She began to mumbled, slipping off the two now black patches. "I think the time limit is up on these...." She said collapsing against him. Her body drained.

"Hmm... two..." he noted, taking the used up patches away from her and picking her up, "Lets get you off to bed" he glanced over to Ruckus, "Set up the sleep monitoring machine"

Ruckus nodded, heading off to go retrieve the machine. He let the boys know where to put the last of the equipment before heading off.

Ciara rolled into Sinister. "Mmm.." Ciara had had trouble getting a full night's sleep since staying with Sinister. She couldn't get into a proper rem cycle. Probably had something to do with the fact there was no running water in her room.

Sinister spent the next few days running tests and figuring more things out when something came to his attention. "Ciara, I have another mission for you. Just a small reconnaissance task. I believe there is a shipment passing through this warehouse and I need to have it traced. Just go in, plant a bug on one of the crates and get out."

"Alright." She said kissing his cheek. "I'll be back later." She said slipping into the one person plane.

"That's my girl" sinister grinned and went off to do other things. By now he was rather confident in his hold over her, she was a functioning member of the team and no one could change that now.

It took her about 3 and a half hours to get to the location. Ciara flew close to the warehouse and approached the warehouse on foot. 'Hmmm... Seems easy enough.' She thought slipping into a vent and making her way into the warehouse.

The warehouse was fairly abandoned, although there were a few suspicious looking fellows around.

Ciara kept to the shadows. Using a lot of the training she'd learned working with the Bat gang in Gotham. She rolled in between some crates and got to work locating the right crate. It took her a little while to locate the shipment, Sinister wanted her to track. Carefully, she pulled out a small roll up tool kit.

She drilled a small hole, activated the tracker, slipped it in the hole and reattached the piece of wood so that it looked like no one had touched it. 'All done. I'm heading back now.' She thought, just finished packing the tool kit up.

"HALT! Who goes there?!" Someone shouted as they came up behind her with a gun, "Show yourself!"

Ciara slowly got up and began to raise her hands above her head as she turned, just as her hands passed her hips, she gripped her knife and threw it at him. Hitting him in the tigh.

She leaped over the crate and hurried toward the vent she'd used to enter the building.

Soon there were bullets ricocheting off the walls and making it impossible to reach the vent while people began to show up out of nowhere. It was like they had an army hidden in here somewhere.

Ciara pulled out the patches and slapped one on. 'Sinie do you read? I'm in a bit of a jam. It's like there's an army here. I may need back-up.' She slipped her goggles on and took a deep breath.

She opened a container of water and dropped a handful of pills in it. Within seconds the container was overflowing with water. Ciara flew out from her cover, taking man after man out.

Mister Sinister wasn't responding, in fact he hadn't made any contact with her since she entered the warehouse. It must have been protected somehow from telepaths, which meant that these weren't any ordinary people.

"She's a mutant!" one exclaimed.

"Shoot to kill!"

Ciara continued to take out the men, triggering their weapons destroying them. She needed another way out, the main door was the closest. She made a flying break for the door.

Several men came out with what looked like rocket launchers but launched nets instead, firing one after another to try and ensnare her.

"We got her!"
"Shoot her down!"
One managed to wrap around half her body. The weight from it sending her to the ground. Slap Another patch and the net was cut to pieces. She made a break for the doors, her heart racing. This was very very wrong.

"Call them in!" Ciara nearly ran into the giant metal beast as the floor quickly opened up. It's glowing red eyes staring down at her.

"No..." She mumbled.

"Mutant locked. Target Locked. Engaging." As 3 robotic voices rang out as one. She turned to try and figure another way out as a bullet shot through her arm and the leg

The shock gave just enough time for robotic tentacles to wrap around her and zap her like a bug in a bug zapper.

Ciara screamed as she blacked out.

"Target unconscious. Awaiting further instructions."

"Let's kill her while we still can." One of the remaining man yelled.
Another slapped him over the head, "And we if she's not alone? No, go get the boss. We'll need to figure out what she knows."

Soon William Stryker himself was walking up to Ciara. He took one look at her before glancing around the room, "Any sign of others?" he questioned.

"We did a sweep of the base but it looks like she's alone" another saluted him.

"Probably didn't even know what she was getting into" Stryker chuckled, "All the same, where there's one cockroach, others are sure to follow. Strike the base, get ready to move out. As for the girl, take her a few clicks from here and dispose of her in the snow."

Ciara zoned in and out of consciousnesses. First someone rolling her head over with their boot and turning to ask something, then the back of a jeep, her arms tied. Finally she came around when a bucket of water was poured on her from a near by stream. She screamed, shaking like a leaf.

She heard laughter. Her arms above her head, tied by a rope that hung over a branch of a tree. Snow part way up her calf.

She didn't realize what was happening to her till about half way through the beatings. Fists, metal bars, belts struck her over and over again. She screamed and they laughed.

"No one can hear you, monster."
Splash. Another bucket of ice cold water.
Whip, punch, bar, splash

By the time they were done, Ciara's clothes were shreds. Her body covered in violent writing such as: Sl*t, Mutant, Freak, Monster, Demon, B*itch, Dirty whore, Die, etc. They finished her off by throwing one last bucket of water on her and pinning her in the snow.

"Haha. Hope you like snow!" One of them laughed as the snow began to pick up.

Ciara stared blankly up as snow hit her in the face. So this was how it was going end. Alone in the snow. 'I don't want to... help.'

The night was dark and the moon and stars were clouded out by the snow. It was impossible to hear anything above the wind's howl. By this point her nerves were numb and by the time Ciara realized what was happening she was already in Sabertooth's arms with the ropes cut off of her.
He worked silently, wrapping his own furry clothing around her and shielding her from the wind with his body as he brought her away from the place the purifiers had left her. Finally they settled down in the snow, although he didn't let a single part of her body touch the icy substance as he cradled her in his arms. With his free hand he pulled out a cell phone and scrolled down the names, a lot of them Ciara would've recognized. He was about to dial for Sinister when he noted the time, 12:03am, and he switched instead to Magneto's number.
"Got her." he grunted, leaving the phone on so they could trace it.
