The moment between Warren and Serena sparked, lighting bugs were all around them, and pollen floating had added to the setting and the mood. Serena didn't want this moment to end, she had always wanted to do this to Warren and now it actually happened. "I'll talk to them about moving out" Serena smiled pulling away to say that.

Vlad shook his head and picked up Danny bridal style flying off into the sky, right up to the stars and clouds. He was trying to make him smile or be happy, not so down because the other two were known to be in love. Vlad knew about it, Serena had made that clear after Warren arrived and she smiled more around them.

"Must suck having to ask permission to do stuff." He says. Though he does sound sad. Deep down he wished his family was still around. He hated being alone. He really hopes that she'll move in with him.


Danny gasps and Vlad changes and takes off. He laughs a bit.

Serena leans into Warren smiling, she had forgotten after they met Danny that she was trying to plan something like this. "I love you, War" Serena spoke giving him his nickname, she was always as happy as a rabbit and as fast as one, so she was nicknamed bunny by the town's people.

Vlad smiles 'Good, a smile, and something to make him forget' Vlad looked out, the moon was almost next to them it felt like "Now there is the Daniel I know" Vlad laughed.

"I love you to usagi." He says. He always used the Japanese term for bunny. He kisses her neck softly.

Danny blushes a bit. He lays his head on Vlad's shoulder.

Serena blushes at the Japanese name, she always did because it sounded so beautiful to her. When her neck was kissed by Warren, she shuddered, almost jumping. It was a good reaction, she giggled a little, she was very ticklish.

Vlad stays up there for some time, until he figured Daniel would be asleep or really tired it wouldn't leave room for any thoughts so that he could just get to dreaming.

Warren chuckles and nibbles her earlobe. "So beautiful." He mumbles softly into her ear.


Daniel is almost asleep as they return to the mansion. When the arrive he is snoring softly. His sleeves are pushed up a bit and the scars are noticeable.

Serena hears him chuckle and feels his chest move a little. They spend most of the night out there and soon it was time to go back. Serena yawned, she was tired, a night owl she was, a morning owl she wasn't. "I'm Sleepy" Serena stated rubbing her eyes, her eyeliner was pretty much gone and her mascara smeared a little, but, she fixed it.

Vlad lays Danny down in the bed and notices the scars, he is worried now, a ghost didn't make those and they were self conflicted it looked like. Vlad knows not to say anything, but, he couldn't just let this go. He walked out of the room and came back up bandaging up Danny's arms lightly so that it would be more annoying to try to do if he does it in the mansion. Though now, Vlad wonders how long this had been going on, sighing silently he took off Danny's shoes and covered the boy up kissing his forehead and leaving the room, the light already was off.

After they get across the river, he scoops her up bridal style heading back to her house. He kisses the tip of her nose as he walks. He doesn't set her down till he gets to her front door. "I love you Usagi."

Danny curls up into a ball when he's put down. He lets out a content sigh and smiles as Vlad kisses his forehead.

"I love you to War" Serena kisses him one last time, she would have to go to the side of the house and sneak inside through the vine under her window that her mother let her keep there. Letting the moment last she smiled and said "Goodnight, see you tomorrow sometime?" she asked with hope, after she would get her answer, she climbed up the vine into her room, she knew her parents would bug her in the morning so she went to sleep in her closet, she never slept in her bed anymore and all of her favorite things were in there. She still had her pentacle necklace on of a circle with a star in the middle and light blue jewels around it.

Vlad had left the room and went into his room, his was deeply concerned about Danny now, and how could his family not know of this? Or did they? He wouldn't risk asking them, not after the time it took Danny to get here. He changed and laid in bed until he fell asleep which was alot sooner than expected. The night would pass and morning had arrived, though something was not completely right.

"Of course. You know where to find me." He says heading home, which is just two houses up from her. He let himself in. He hated this house, hated the sadness, and the memories that were here. Though he knew if Serena were hear with them, they could create new memories. He gets ready for bed but doesn't fall asleep. He doesn't sleep much anymore. He takes the picture off his bedside table, it was of him and his parents. It was taken on their last family vacation together. A month later they would both be dead, and Warren would be alone. He was only 16 at the time. He holds the picture close.

Danny is in the middle of a nightmare. He is tossing and turning. He thrashes, tangled up in the blankets. "NO!!!" He screams thrashing harder. "NO!!!"

Serena went to sleep, she was so tired, she hadn't noticed how warm it had gotten in her room. She didn't even feel anything, and when the sunlight came through her window, or what was left of it, she didn't wake. Her parents weren't home, they had gone out a couple miles away to their cousin's house or something like that, Serena unfortunately was. Serena had been caught up in a house fire, the house was still burning by morning, but, slowly, soon it would be gone and all that is with it. When Serena's parents arrived home, they freaked out about the house, they hadn't even thought their daughter came home so they were not distraught.

Vlad heard a noise, then screaming, he didn't run to the other room, he phased through the wall since the rooms were right next to eachother. Vlad stricken with fear tried to wake Danny up "Daniel, Daniel, wake up, it's just a dream wake up" Vlad kept repeating and even shook him a little, but, not to hurt him.

Warren walks up to see if Serena is up. He sees the fire and he lets out an anguished sob. "NO!!!" He sinks to his knees his whole body shake. No, it couldn't be, she couldn't be gone. He had lost the only family he had left. He felt so empty. What was the point of going on. He sobs tears running down his cheeks. He just wanted to die.

Danny woke with a start. He goes ghost blasting Vlad. His eyes go wide when he realizes what he had done.

Vlad was caught off guard and slammed into the wall, not too hard, but, it still hurt. Vlad didn't switch over, he understood the boy probably didn't think he was at home or was kidnapped or something. Though still being in human form he laid there for a moment, after a little bit (a minute or so) he sat up rubbing his head. "What happened, Daniel?" Vlad asks.

Serena's image was in the house, more like over the house, her face, her memories, everything about her. Her family left after they said no one had been found in the house. The only way to explain that was their daughter being disintegrated within the flames of the fire. An hour would pass and people would move on, the parents left heading to a family member's house, and later to move away. 'Warren' a voice called out but no one was around, the fire had stopped, but, something was off. 'Warren, where are you?' the voice continued.

"Are you alright?" He rushes to him. He was so worried he had seriously hurt Vlad. "I'm so so sorry." He's in tears.


Warren just kneels out side the house. He feels so empty he just kneels there ignoring all that is happening around him. All of sudden he hears her voice. No it couldn't be. "Usagi? Usagi-chan?" Tears run down his cheeks again. "I can here you."

(Haha, I went to sleep at 2am and barely was awake then)

Vlad stays where he was "I'm alright, I should be asking you that" Vlad had been through a lot worse before, and battles with others with much stronger attacks, though he did think Danny was pretty strong the way he was now.

'Warren, please help me' Serena sounded scared, she was inside the house, where ever she went to sleep which was her closet, but, she was on the second floor and most of the second floor was gone by now. Except for a piece of her room which was held up by most of the downstairs. Serena didn't have telepathy, but, being a magic user was helpful in more than one way. 'I'm scared, I'm so scared' Serena sounded on the verge of tears.

"I'm fine." He is trying his best to get untangled and get to him. He is still worried about him.

Warren stands and makes his way into the house. "I'm coming." He makes his way up to that one part of the second floor. "I'm coming love. Hold on."

Vlad stood up "I've been through far worse Daniel, what were you dreaming about?" Vlad walked over and sat on the bed next to Danny.

'Warren...' the closer he moved towards her the farther away her voice sounded, something about her closet looked off, it was unharmed, no flame marks, no smoke damage, it was as if it didn't get touched by the fire.

"I'm fine now. It was nothing." He says going to him and just putting his arms around him.

Warren blinks seeing her closet is unharmed. He gulps going and opening the door. "Usagi?"

Vlad hugs Danny "Don't worry about it, it was just a bad dream, come on now, why don't we get dressed and go to eat breakfast" Vlad suggested.

Serena was curled up in the corner, she was waiting for someone to open it, because it locked while she was inside from the opposite side. It was an easy lock, but, once the door opened she jumped out and wrapped her arms around the person's neck. She was scared, glad no one was in the house besides her.

Warren holds her tight. He kisses her all over. "Oh Usagi... oh my love." He holds her close.


Danny nods not trusting his voice right now.

Serena doesn't let go, she doesn't understand how she stayed safe, but, was glad that she did. Though she didn't know everyone thought she was dead by now. And her family was leaving this morning but their house caught on fire.

"Come on" Vlad spoke adding "Are you sure you're alright though?" Vlad was just making sure, first his arms, then the nightmare, he really wondered what the boy had dreamed about.

"I thought you were dead." He says still holding her tight. "I thought you were gone." He never ever wants to let her go.

"I'm fine." He never wants to talk about it. He just couldn't talk about it.

Serena stays where she was "Um..war...you're holding too tight" Serena managed to say as she is glad to e hugged but not suffocated.

Vlad just waits, the boy arrived yesterday, and so he stands up "I'm going to get dressed, I'll be in the kitchen or the study" Vlad spoke and used his ghostly powers to phase through the wall and back to his room to change. Once done he went down to make breakfast, wondering if Daniel would noticed his arms being wrapped up and once he finished making pancakes, bacon, and hash browns, he went to the study to sit and relax.

"Sorry." He says loosing his hold a bit but not letting totally letting go. "I thought I had I lost you." Kisses her forehead. His whole body shaking.

Danny just notices his arms being wrapped and can't help but smile a bit. He gets washed up and changed. He heads to the kitchen.

"Calm down War, I'm fine, I think magic protected me until you got here" Serena spoke and really thought magic did save her, nothing about her closet was fire proof and that was the only so-called logical explanation. "W-where are my parents?" Now Serena wondered if her parents cared at all, wouldn't they still be searching for her?

The food was laid out for Danny to eat, Vlad had stayed in the other room wondering what had caused Danny to go so long without saying anything and doing what he did to himself. He knew what it was like to inflict harm on yourself and there wasn't a way to get rid of the pain. But, he didn't know fully, he just understood there must've been good reasons.
