Charles doesn't even notice when the lights go out. He is so caught up in the kiss. He starts feeling light headed when Erik breaks the kiss. He pants softly. He has no words, nothing. He just holds on to his friend, not ever wanting to let go. He rests his head on Erik's shoulder a small smile on his lips.

(Already on page two, yay)

Erik was out of breath, unsure his voice would even work right now, glad they both had telepathy, he decided to use his powers. 'Was that in the moment as they say or did you actually mean it?' Erik asked, he wasn't doubting it, just making sure he understood.

'I meant it.' He sends glad they have learned how to speak telepathically. He isn't sure he has much of a voice. He lays his head on Erik's shoulder. Could this really work between them? He didn't doubt his feelings for Erik, not in the least. He just wasn't sure, with all the bad past between them, that it would work.

Though what the two of them didn't notice was that they had an audience "You guys are dating? since when?" Kitty exclaimed holding onto one of Logan's arms. He smirked, back then he thought they were like that, but, they never showed it. This proved the fact that he was right. Storm was behind them standing next to Angel. There was a couple of flashes, Erik tried to bring the camera to him, but, it was plastic not metal. Kurt was taking pictures and from different angles, makes you wonder how long they were standing there.

Charles gasps on seeing them. He hadn't heard them mentally or otherwise. He turns beat red burying his face in the crook of Erik' neck. He was at a total loss for words. He lets out a soft groan, this wasn't good. 'Erik... how long have they been here?' He asks his friend.

'That is a good question' Erik said using the metal in the door to shut it right on them, Kitty was half phased through the door and Kurt was still in the room "Leave now or you might not live to see the next say" Erik threatened, his voice scared Kurt off, but, Kitty still had her head poking through the door "Please?" Erik asked and she smiled leaving. Erik helped Charles back into the wheelchair, he still felt bad about his friend never being able to walk again, all because of him. Though he kept his regrets blocked off from Charles, not everything needed to be said in one night.

Charles pouts a bit at being put down, glad for the dark. "So..." He isn't sure how to talk about this. He stares at his hands. Why did so much bad have to happen to them to bring them together. He lets out a sigh trying to take it all in.

'Since when have you wanted to do that?' Erik asked telepathically then shook his head 'Where does this leave us Charles?' Erik figured either that was a one moment deal or it was something that might happen again though he wasn't sure about which one. Though he wasn't expecting this to happen again, especially after the others had watched them for who knows how long. Erik sat back in his chair, glad it was dark to hide his expressions, they always gave him away.

'I have wanted to kiss you for a very long time my friend.' And that was the truth. He had found himself falling for his friend when they were working together during the Cuban Missile Crisis. If he had told them would Erik have left? He doesn't know and he knows it does no good to think about the past like that. "I do not know." He whispers softly in reply to Erik's other question.

Erik kept his thoughts to himself, the only way to be sure it could work between the two of them, is if it happened again, and right now letting things happen by fate would take too long or never happen. Erik stood up, keeping his mind clear as he put his hands on the side of the wheel chair and kissed Charles on the lips. The second kiss felt the same way as the first one, it felt nice and right, like there wasn't anything bad about it. It was a moment in heaven.

Charles melts into the kiss. A soft moan escapes his lips. It felt the same, it felt right. He puts arms around his friends neck. He didn't dare to even hope that this was real. Because if this was just a dream, he never wanted to wake up. He pulls himself up using just his arms. He wanted, no needed, to be closer to Erik.

Erik leaned in closer, the kiss building up heat, but, even though he wanted to continue, to make this moment last. He couldn't. Unfortunately, Erik broke the kiss looking at Charles, "I think that says where we stand" Erik spoke in a short breath. He wasn't sure what else to say, but, he knew he had to do some thinking about this.

Charles pants a bit as the kiss is broken. Though he still holds on to Erik, he really doesn't want to let go. This was all just happening so fast. But he knows he wanted it. He wonders how much Erik wants it.

'Charles...' Erik began in thought, though he stayed where he was 'Let's get some sleep' was all Erik said in thought, they didn't have to be away from eachother and who knows, tomorrow things could change, tomorrow they could just wake up as if it was a dream. Erik could've played it off, but, the others saw, so he wasn't sure how well that would go.

He didn't dislike Charles, he knew he liked him, but, to what extent did he like him? Erik thought about this years ago, but, now that time has caught up with him he didn't know if he was going with how he should react or if that was his true intentions in the first place. Erik picked up Charles out of the wheelchair and takes him over to the queen bed; he used metal to move the covers back, then set Charles on the side closest to the door.

'Yes, sleep would be good.' He says. He holds on as Erik carries him to the bed. He knew how much he loved and cared for this man. He just didn't have any idea whether Erik felt the same way about him. If he didn't want a relationship with him, he knew he would step back. He would love him from afar. It would hurt him, but he would do it. When Erik gets in bed Charles finds he's staying on the other side. He lets out an inner sigh, so this was how it was going to be. He wanted to curl up into Erik's arms but he wouldn't push himself on the other mutant. That would be wrong of him.

(uh there is only one bed in the room goofball lol and he is just not on the side Erik wants to sleep on lol XD)

Erik covers up Charles and goes to the other side of the bed, he slips under the covers and lays down next to Charles, on his back facing the ceiling, he might've liked the other one to a point, but, he never thought they would even come close to anything, but, a normal hug. "Goodnight Charles" Erik says placing an arm around Charles pulling him closer to him.

(yeah but you said it was queen so that's a big bed... and his legs don't work I was tired when I replied)

Charles curls against. "Good night Erik." He says. He wonders where they will be when the awake. But for right now he would enjoy being near Erik. Even if this is the only time.

(lol thats fine, I almost put a double size bed, not queen...but...i get where you are coming from, my bed is a double and I didn't think the two could fit on it) (Purple will be dream view)

Erik didn't fall asleep so easily, in fact he stayed awake, storms was one thing that kept him awake. He didn't fear them, he just thought that they were neat and being a conductor of electricity (his metal powers) it would be best not to sleep and lower his guard with so much lighting around. Instead he stuck to his thoughts, soon enough, he fell asleep without thinking about it. And so the nightmare begins...

"Good morning Charles", Erik had woken up to see no rain what so ever and just the sun, though what he hadn't realized was that he was still asleep, dreaming. "Charles?" Erik looked over to find Charles gone, how could he leave without waking him? Sure Erik could sleep, but, it was odd when someone or something didn't wake him up. "Charles?" Erik called out sitting up and getting out of the bed, something in his mind made him wonder if something was wrong, he couldn't figure it out. He heard nothing in the mansion, he used his telepathy to contact his good friend, but, all he got was nothing.

Being out of bed, his room dark, so it was hard to tell if anything or anyone was in the room, he stepped out into the hallway but stopped, something made him turn around, to face his window. His room wasn't on the first floor, it was actually on the second to third floor meaning high up. "Charles?" Erik asked, confusion in his voice as he stared at his friend looking out of the window, but, he wasn't in a wheelchair, he was standing. Just like those years ago. "What's the matter?" Erik asked, normally people would say 'Is it really you?' and not 'Whats the matter?' but being this a dream, anything could happen.

Erik didn't talk in his dream, but, he wasn't still as a board either, he had gotten out of bed just like in the dream and went to the door, stopped, turned around and for a moment he didn't do anything. The windows were opened as he walked towards them slowly.

"Charles?" Erik called out, again no response, this worried him deeply, normally his friend wasn't in such a deep thought or he would at least turn to look at him. Though, Erik did get his wish, Charles did turn around, but, it wasn't as a good thing. In the dream, Charles climbed onto the banister and looked back as he fell backwards off of the balcony with a smile on his face as if it was alright. Fear spread across his face, his mind filled with worries, what was going on? He didn't understand it, any of it.

Erik ran to the doors, panic across his face, and he tried to lean over as if he was going to reach for him. But, instead his mind clicked and he jumped at the last minute.

Erik jumped over the edge as if to catch the Charles in his dream, though, he didn't hit the ground or fall too long for something had stopped him. Something was holding him up, though he hadn't woken up just then either. And then, it went dark, completely dark.

(Lol I told you I had a little too much fun with this one)

Charles woke sensing Erik's troubles. Though he isn't sure exactly what his friend is dreaming. "ERIK!" He shouts seeing his friend leaning over the railing. He cures his useless legs. "ERIK!" He shouts he uses his mind to catch his friend. It was struggle to hold on to him. He couldn't loose him. Not now. 'Erik.' He sends frantically into his friends mind. 'Erik!'

'It's alright professor, I got him' a familiar female voice spoke in Charles mind. It was early in the morning, around seven. The girl appeared with cherry red hair and emerald colored eyes. It was Jean, Jean Grey was back, she had been gone for awhile, too long since Scott had tried to forget about her and moved on finding someone else. Though she didn't like it, she knew that love was not an option while being the phoenix, but, she wouldn't give him up that easily.

Her red hair was in a high ponytail, but, almost to her waist. She was wearing blue jean shorts, knee length brown climbing boots, and a dark green tank top that said Phoenix in Red with flames circling it. Jean lifted Erik back onto the bed, she didn't know when he would wake up, but, knew he was truly asleep right now. "He should be fine" she spoke noticing now that the two were in the same room and thought 'Finally' to herself.

'Jean... thank god.' He, more then ever, felt useless. He was glad she had returned when she had. He lets his body relax and sinks back into the bed. What happened to his friend, was it something he had done? Was he to blame? He tries to push these emotions away, for now. He couldn't deal with them at the moment.

"Don't feel that way professor and yes empathy is what I have picked up on while away" Jean stated and landed in the room walking over to the professor's side. "He seemed to be having a nightmare, it's nothing unusual, you do have a mutant here who is able to strengthen other's nightmares, keep that in mind" Jean added. They called the girl Nightmare, though those who knew her called her Night for being a little more respectful. She did have an amazing and stronger power, hardly a bad ting since she didn't have too many fears herself, but, her powers took away her sight years ago and now she can only see different glows outlining people and whether they are human or mutant.

"That is true. I had forgotten about Night." He says. He is glad that his friend is safe. He rubs the bridge of his nose. He is still shaken up about what had happened. He does his best to calm himself.

Jean looks at him, she hardly had noticed anything different about him, but, realized something did change. "Oh he is waking up soon, I will go meet with Logan, it seems that he has yet to know I am here" Jean kisses the professor on the forehead "Relax" she smiled and left the room closing the door lightly. A few moments later Jean walks up behind Logan, more like floats up behind him, and hugs him "Hey wildcat" Jean teased saying hello, she had been gone for a total of three earth years. Erik stirred and woke looking up at the ceiling.

"Erik?" He strokes Erik's hair softly. Concern fills his voice.

"Red." Logan says happy as all get out to see her. He turns around and smiles up at her. "It's good to see you."
