Erik had been going to bed late and getting up early, it was his normal sleep schedule now, and he was getting closer to finding a way for Erik to walk. So far, most of it would have to be fast, meaning that he would need another mutant's help maybe and then it would all be on if Charles would want to recover. Right now wouldn't be a good idea to test that theory though.

Erik had glimpses or heard thoughts from Charles here and there throughout the few weeks. There had to be something for Erik to do to get Scott to come back, he didn't know how or why, but, he had to. He had kept this a secret from Charles, it was meant to be a surprise, however, it was harder than it seemed especially when he hadn't figured it out yet. Erik took a break from reading and went to look for Charles, he hadn't been around him much lately, reading took up alot of his time.

Charles was working with a few of the younger mutants. He was helping them train. He had wondered what Erik had been up to that was keeping him busy. But it wasn't his place to pry. He was working on getting beyond Scott leaving. "Alright lets call it a day." There is a cheer from the kids as they take off. Charles

Erik leaned against the doorway as he watched Charles teach the younger mutants. Erik had been teaching with the danger room sessions when Logan wasn't around. Then again, Logan used more force and Erik used more power and brains. So there was a different and some of the kids preferred certain teachers. 'Amazing...you are' Erik thought smiling at Charles with his arms crossed, just like he normally would.

'Thanks.' He smiles at his friend. 'So what have you been up to? I haven't seen you around much lately.' He takes his friends hand. He had missed spending time with Erik. He wishes Erik would hold him. It felt good, and right to be in his arms.

Erik sits down on the couch and pulls Charles out of the wheel chair and sits him in font of him. Erik had his feet up stretched out to the end of the sofa, his back to the arm of the couch, his feet to the other end. Erik was glad to be holding Charles again, Charles was right, it had been awhile and they hadn't seen eachother really. 'Working on finding a way for you to talk again, my friend' Erik spoke right next to his ear.

Charles cuddles in close besides Erik. He rests his head on Erik's shoulder. 'Any luck with that?' He asks.

"Well ain't that just the sweetest thing." Logan says walking past with Jean.

Charles blushes.

'Actually, yes, now I just need to get a hold of someone and ask for their help' Erik spoke smiling, but, even Erik turned red when Logan said what he said. "Back at you love birds" Erik spoke seeing Jean holding Logan's hand and his arm kind of clinging to it lightly. "About time it happened" Erik said smiling. Jean smiled at his comment "C'mon Logan, let's go to the battle simulator already, time to teach these kids about team work"

"Right behind ya' Red." he says almost cackling. The two of them head off. "It is good to see them happy." Charles says out loud. He is truly happy for Jean and Logan. And despite it hurting that Scott had left, he was happy that Jean had returned.

(im on for a short bit so I will get a post or so in before hand)

"Yes it is" Erik confirmed "However, I am would rather see you happy" Erik replied using the metal on the door knob to shut the door. "I think I have figured a way to give you back your legs, but, it is a little risky if I can get the right mutant to help, but, it's still your choice" Erik spoke his arms wrapped around Charles.

"I would give almost anything to be able to walk again. It would be nice, and I wouldn't feel as useless as I do now." He says kissing Erik's shoulder. "I am happy. I have you in my life." He says with a smile.

(really tired right now)

Erik leaned his head against Charles' just like what Charles was doing to him. The day was nice, spring time, storms randomly appearing, and the weather was in the 70s most of the time for the high. The windows were open and so that made it even more peaceful and relaxing. Erik couldn't really remember why after all of these years the reason that caused the fighting between the two. Now they were working together, it probably had something to do with his pride, well keeping it. He was always the type to care about his pride, he would do anything to make others think he was in control, and all that would go with it. 'Soon my friend, soon' Erik thought not realizing it, but, he was drifting off a little bit. 72 degree weather and a breezy spring day normally would do that to just about anyone. 'As am I happy to be here with you'

'Who is the mutant.' He asks with a yawn. The warm weather and closeness of Erik was making him sleepy. He had never truly felt this content.

'Well there are a couple, I have to say though, Pietro, Quicksilver was on the top list' Erik thought at the last moment before drifting off to sleep. Erik had kept his arms around Charles, what they didn't know was Kurt lurking about, taking pictures and disappearing again like he had before.

Charles drifts off to sleep. It would be amazing to walk again. But what could Quicksilver do to help. He would try and remember to ask Erik when they woke up.

Time passed, Jean was with Logan, they trained the other kids for two hours while Erik and Charles slept. Hank did almost walk in, but, saw them asleep, so he walked back out to find something else to do for the time being. He was supposed to be talking to Erik about ways to help Charles walk again, though right now, time seem to slow. Soon three hours passed, Jean was going out with Logan on a walk through the park, maybe even farther. Erik slowly woke and realized they fell asleep, he had forgotten earlier he drifted off. 'Mmm, Charles?' Erik figured Charles was asleep too.

' * incomprehensible mumbling* ' Charles is still sound asleep. Kitty had peeked in on them while they had been sleeping and had to bite her tongue not to giggle. She was insanely happy that Kurt and her had gotten photos. It was just so damn sweet.

Eric smiled, it might've been getting late, but, sleeping here wasn't a good idea with the windows open. The room had gotten cool during the time that the sun was going down. Eric picked up Charles after standing up and carried him to his (Charles) room, though before he placed him on the bed he looked down at him, admiring his sleeping face. Smiling a little he placed Eric down the bed and removed his shoes, pulling the cover over him, he kissed him lightly on the forehead.

Charles made sure the window was closed as he left the room, he wanted to stay and sleep next to Charles, but, he still had more work to do. He was getting really, really, close to finding a way for him to walk again. Erik went and looked for Beast, once he found him, they talked about what would be needed to be done in order for this to work.

So far the only downside would be if Charles body could take it and still survive afterwards. Erik spoke to him, made some calls, and during that time, it was getting very late. Erik went to Charles to check on him, noticing he was still asleep, and sat gently on the bed next to Charles just watching him sleep.

Charles curls against Erik when he felt him sit down. "Erik?" He mumbles softly. His eyes flutter open. He smiles up at Erik reaching out to touch his cheek.

"Hey, how does my telepathic lover feel?" Erik asked simply, he wasn't yet going to mention anything just yet. They wouldn't start anything until Charles would understand the entire situation. Then again, he wanted to wait just a little bit longer too, Erik places his hand over Charles' hand.

"Wondering when I ended up in bed with my shoes off." He says. He leans over and kisses Erik's hand. "And where my wheelchair though I suppose it's still in the room we fell asleep in." He says with a smile.

Erik turned to the door opening as the chair rolled it's way into the room, the door closed and the wheelchair came beside the bed. 'There is something I have to tell you Charles' Erik thought to him and the mood portrayed was uncertainty which could be taken for anything really.

Charles chuckles as Erik brings the chair in. He then gets serious. 'What is it?'
