"I think it's broken. I heard and felt something crack." He says as they walk. He's in a lot of pain but he pushes it away. This was nothing compared to the burn that had given him his scar. A tree branch brushes against his broken arm and he lets out a cry. He sinks to his knees as the pain explodes behind his eyes.

Katara looked around until she heard him cry out and fall to his knees. She quickly bended water and placed it against his arm, her eyes showed that him being hurt was hurting her, she used the water just the way she was told. Not in swirls or quick movements, but, a steady slow movement that would have a cooling effect and should take away some of the pain. Not all, but, some was better than nothing. "Can you stand?" Katara asked as she kept the water moving, "I won't stop, not until we get you to a doctor or your uncle or someone who can help us" Katara knew that Zuko was always with his Uncle, she thought it was a good thing, he could've been on his own this entire time but he had encouragement and teachings from Iro.

Zuko can feel the soothing of the water. He uses his good arm and pushes himself up. "Thanks." He says. He truly means it. "When I left town Uncle wasn't around. Might be better to get me to a doctor." He says. Grateful that she had eased the pain. Soon they get back to town.

Katara never stopped bending it with on hand as the other one was placed on his back for support. She asked someone for where they could get a doctor at and they were told where to go. Someone in a white long coat that said Dr. Snow (because its snowing outside right now lol) had came up to them. Dr. Snow had waist length brown hair, black t-shirt, and khaki pants. "Hello, can I help you?" Dr. Snow asked with a half smile, most who came in were sick, not injured but she knew other ways to treat non-sick patients to.

"Yes, hi, I'm Katara and this is Zuko. Would you mind checking his arm, we think he broke it falling out of a tree" Katara spoke lying about the last part but he did fall, just not out of a tree. Though the doctor was skeptical of what she said. "Of Course, come with me" Katara heard the doctor speak and they followed her to the back room. Katara waited for Zuko to sit down when the doctor started looking at his arm, though unfortunately Katara had to stop bending. The doctor asked Katara "Are you a water bender?" "Y-yea" katara was almost unsure to answer, everyone who was a bender during these times wasn't a good thing, and the war was still going on.

"You could heal him yourself" "I only know how to do sprains" Katara answered. "Well, why don't I explain to you how to do it" Dr. Snow said as she started explaining to Katara how to do it. It had been an hour since they started and even though it would still hurt as a sprain, Katara was able to heal him, though being it took awhile, took alot of energy out of her too. "Wow, I did it" Katara exclaimed as she watched the doctor put it in a sling "That should do it" Dr. Snow said as she heard Katara asked about the bill.

"Don't worry about it, I was able to teach something a water bender taught me years ago, even though I cannot bend. They were trying to teach non-benders how to bend, but, have a nice day you lovebirds" Dr. Snow answered smiling as she watched the two walk away, Katara almost froze, and turned bright red. Though she tried to hide it.

Zuko is very glad Katara is with him. He doesn't think he could have made it back on his own. He follows the doctor to the room and sinks down. When Katara stops bending he winces. Katara was going to heal him? It would be amazing if he could. "Wow." He says as she heals his arm. "Wow, that was amazing." He says. He is pleasantly surprised when the doctor says no charge. The two head out. He hears her call them lovebirds and turn bright red, so much so you can hardly see the scar.

Katara noticed they stopped and just linked onto his sprained arm, she didn't heal him fully, but, that whats improvement is for in the future. Katara tried to recompose herself but a part of her didn't want to, she smiled secretly and started moving away from the doctor's office. "Um..so where is your uncle?" Katara was happy, it was rare to see her smile so much, and not around Aang who was probably sulking right now if she was lucky, or he was flirting with Toph.

"Probably off with his lady friend." He says with a scoff. "He was gone when I woke up this morning." He says as they walk. He really liked being here with her. This some how felt, right. "Katara why are you being so nice to me? I don't deserve it." He says after walking along in silence for awhile.

Katara didn't hesitate to speak, she really didn't mind just hanging out like this, "Yes you do" Katara figured he deserved kindness alot more than Aang did, she was substituting anyone for someone else. After what Aang did, well, she wasn't about to let them stay enemies. They were only enemies because he was fire, she was water, however, they had similar beliefs and thats what counts. They could be at each other's throats right now trying to kill one another, but, they talked, trained, and are even hanging out. So that has to mean something, even if its just knowing eachother as something other than an enemy.

Zuko shakes his head. He doesn't believe it. His whole life he's heard from people how he wasn't any good. How he was worthless. How much better his sister was then him. Though he does enjoy being here with her like this, he knows he doesn't deserve it. Even now he can hear both his father and his sister in his head taunting him.

"Zuko, just because we're opposites and of different nations doesn't mean I hated you. You didn't kill my mother, I remember the story you told me when you went up against your father, saying your thoughts to him" Katara spoke and kept on speaking "I can tell now that you would've stopped it, just like you would've stopped them if you could when it was your mother" Katara whispered the last line. Zuko's uncle Iro, appeared and was walking alone when he came face to face with his nephew and Katara.

\"Oh since when did you this happen?" Of course Iro was talking about them walking together, but, Katara thought he meant Zuko's arm. "There was a little misunderstanding, excuse me, I need to get back to camp with the others" Katara let go of Zuko's arm "And thank you for training with me earlier Zuko, it was fun before the misunderstanding happened" Katara smiled and ran off to find her friends.

Zuko was planning on giving her cheek a kiss, but that was before Uncle Iroh had shown up. "Yeah it was. Thanks for healing me." He says. He's upset that she's leaving, but what can he do. He watches her go. "So your date is over?" He asks turning to his uncle.

"Eh it wasn't much of a date" Iro spoke adding "But, do tell, what was happening today to lead to this misunderstanding, and healing if I heard correctly" Iro teased somewhat but wanted to know what his nephew had been doing all day.

Katara caught up with the others. Her brother and Sookie were cuddling, Aang seemed to have forgotten earlier's event, and was talking to Toph about different bending styles and how each of them is useful. Though Toph kept trying to be flirty, Aang hadn't caught onto it. "You really are an air head, aren't you?" Katara confirmed more than asking as she took note of Appa and Momo in the background sleeping.

"I had gone for a walk and ran into Katara. We were training. Aang thought I was attacking her and attacked me, I fell and landed on my arm breaking it. "Katara kept the pain away and took me to the doctors who taught her how to user he bending to heal." Zuko said.

"So where in the hell have you been all day." Sokka says looking up when his sister speaks.

(and here comes the drama lol XD)

"She can heal a broken bone? Interesting, shall we go get some tea and something to eat for now then? Or would you rather want to go out looking for her?" Iro raised an eyebrow smiling.

"What is your deal, Sokka? I am old enough to go wherever without having to bother you lovey dovey couples when all you guys do, forgive me girls, all you do is snog the girls. I understand you guys have their lives and I have left that alone. But, I can do whatever I want, when I want" Katara defended herself pouting and glaring at Aang.

"I was her first bone healed." Zuko said with a small. "Tea sounds good." He says. He wants to go after her, but he just can't bring himself to do it.

"I worry about you when you wander off alone." Sokka says.

"She was with Zuko." Aang says.

"What!? Katara are you crazy?" Sokka shouts.

Iro leads Zuko to the top Tea palace in the town. He hears this about being her first healing with bones and thought she did pretty good if it just needs to be in a sling.

"Oh right, pin this on me mr. almighty avatar" Katara yelled back almost. Toph scooted over near Sookie who backed up to Appa. "I think we should just stay out of this one" Toph says and Sookie shakes her head nodding in agreement. "So what if I was, originally it was just going to be a morning thing but Aang just had to break his arm, didn't you?!" Katara shouted again.

"I thought he was attacking you! Excuse me for wanting to keep you safe!" Aang hollers right back. "Besides he can't be trusted!"

Zuko follows his Uncle to the Tea Palace. "Uncle... I think I love her." He says with a small smile.

"Ah love, a wonderus thing, what is it about her you like, do tell?" Uncle Iro nudged his nephew smiling as they found a place to sit.

"And you can!?" Katara yelled back adding "Just last week you said you loved me and kissed me under the moonlight, and now, no offense Toph, but you go to her and kiss her just yesterday and spend this day of love with her!"

"She's kind, and caring, and pretty." He says blushing again.

"Wanted to spend it with you but you disappeared early this morning!" Aang yells and this is the truth. He had wanted to make it up to Katara today

"Ah the simple terms, we'll both have chamomile tea please" and the waiter nodded leaving. Uncle watched his nephew, he was sure he was in love, and now all that remained was, did she love him back?

"Oh, so you wanted to spend time with me after making out with her?" Katara was more calm now, her seriousness in her voice "Well I'm sorry, but, I don't think my boyfriend would like that very much" Katara said watching Suki and Toph look surprised like 'wait what?' type of looks.

"Boyfriend?! Since when do you have a boyfriend!" Sokka yells.

Aang is in shock. He doesn't know what to say.

Zuko sits there. "The doctor thought we were together." He comments.

Katara was digging herself a hole this time, a deep one, but, she didn't care right now, if she did she wouldn't have said it. Katara smirked and turned her back on the others "I started going with Zuko today after practice and even healed his broken arm, so excuse me but I'm going to go find him" Katara smiled and Toph yelled out "Go Katara" Suki shook her head, but, if anyone could get near Zuko it would be Katara. "Oh and Aang, on more thing" Katara bended water from the ground behind him, killing the grass, and swirling it around Aang as she formed it into ice spears circling all around him so he couldn't move. "When you get out of that, then you can make out with your girl again" Katara walked away pleased and went for a walk.

"Oh, was it when I saw you two being so close and bright red?" Iro asks smiling as the tea came and he made his along with Zuko's favorite kind.

Sokka looks as if he's going to run after his sister. Suki puts a hand on his arm. Aang is trying to get out of the trap Katara had made.

Zuko blushes beet red.

Katara goes for her walk, unsure of where to go, deciding she could do some window shopping but everything would be closed right about now. Toph helps Aang out of the ice, she used the earth which broke it, shatter the pieces to the ground. Katara went back to the lake and started practicing again, it was father away from her friends on the opposite of the town.

Iro thinks "Wonder what her friends will say if they find out you spent the day with her" Iro thought out loud worriedly. "I wonder if they would still accept her...Sokka may be his brother, but, how is Aang going to handle this if he hurt you for just practicing with her?" Iro was trying to get him worked up a bit, to see if he would go and find her.

"It was just a misunderstanding." He says. Though he's sure none of that group would take it well. He lets out a sigh.
