Oh my gosh tiger bread is lovely! Did you hear about the girl that wrote into Sainsbury's and asked them to change it to giraffe bread? :lol
Speaking of food, I just ordered £20 of sweets from Amazon. I got Willy Wonka nerds and everlasting jawbreakers (did you guys know they were real sweets?!), rhubarb and custard sweets (the wee yellow and pink ones) and 150 tongue painting lollies. :eager:

Rhubard and custards
Giraffe bread? Wtf  I understand why, because of the pattern, but seriously! :talk2hand:
Do they sell the chewing gum that tastes like a whole meal? :ninja:

I haven't had rhubarb and custards in years! My dad used to take them to work with him, so I'd obviously steal them. My post for the next week will be incredibly exciting!
Giraffe bread news article
If Willy Wonka can make an everlasting gobstoper and wallpaper where the snozberries taste like snozberries, anything is possible! :ninja:

I've never seen it in shops. :/
My friend said that the chocolate is lovely, but I'm wary. American chocolate isn't sweet enough for me.

Seriously? Most American stuff is loaded with sugar compared to UK stuff :O I've seen the chocolate, nothing else. Bu then I don't pay a lot of attention to sweets :ninja:

Surprisingly enough, American chocolate is no-where near as sweet as British chocolate. I tried some in Florida and was greatly saddened. I expected more. :c

Well, what brand of chocolate did you try? It varies.
And aww, no Willy Wonka there? It's everywhere here, they put it in with the impulse candy buys by the registers at grocery stores. The purple and pink nerds were one of my favorite candies when I was a kid. Those fruit-shaped ones were good too, but the name is skipping my mind at the moment. I loved combining them. The bananas always went well with the red and pink ones.

I can't remember. It's been about six years since I was in Florida. xD All I know is it crushed my dreams of American chocolate. I am in love with banana pudding though! And I have dreams of trying Jolly Ranchers.
I feel so out of the loop! D: The Nerds that I bought are multipacks, so there's blue, purple, pink and I'm pretty sure there's two other flavours. C:

Jolly Ranchers are  They used to sell those in William Low's, years ago.

Purple and pink were the only nerds flavors when I was a kid that I ever saw. I didn't know they had more now!
Jolly Ranchers are just hard candies, I don't get it. That's the halloween candy I'd end up throwing out.

@Cherry: Most of the other Nerd flavors seemed to be seasonal, but I've had several kinds. Are the fruit-shaped candies you're thinking of Runts? I loved those too, but then they changed the flavors. :gonk:
@Bucket: There are so many kinds of chocolates in America that I'd say you just had a bad batch. Although I personally like the darker not so sweet stuff, most of the chocolate I've had is very sweet.
Perhaps my favorite candy bar evar is called Big Turk. It's Turkish delight covered in chocolate. But I think they only sell it in Canada so I've only had it a few times. But it's always delicious.

YES, Runts, that's it! Aww, they changed them? :gonk: That sucks! They were so good. Well, the orange and lime ones were a little eh, but the others were good.
I love Hershey's dark chocolate chips. It's way cheaper than buying a candy bar. It's about twice the price of a candy bar, but you get quadruple the chocolate.

That sounds like it would be dangerous for me. XD I have trouble not eating the whole bag soon after I buy any sweets.

I used to have that problem too, I'd eat way too much. So now I just pour a reasonable amount into a napkin and seal the bag back up. I'm not allowed to get more than what I gave myself. That works pretty well with all snacks, actually. :D I do it with chips and crackers too. Otherwise I'll just eat them forever and ever.

I need to do that, but it's so hard since they're tempting. I need to get back into the habit of substituting treats for healthy snacks (dried fruit, nuts, etc.) I was really good about it until winter set in and I became a snack fiend.

Hmm, chocolate chips are way more expensive for less chocolate, here :stare: I wanted to make chocolate chip muffins once, but when I compared the prices/pack sizes I was like :talk2hand: about buying chocolate chips. What I did instead was buy 2 big bars of Belgian cooking chocolate, and eat one :ninja: (it was good) and smash the other up into big chunks with a hammer, for the muffins. They were
Cherry, you throw out Jolly Ranchers? :gonk: They're so tasty though O:

Not all Jolly Rancher flavors are awesome in my opinion, but the cherry flavored ones were always super yummy. One of the few cherry-flavored Western sweets that doesn't taste like medicine.

I'm quite disappointed in Nerds. :c I thought they were going to be like millions, so chewy. But they're not. They came in the post this morning and I was excited all day to eat them. So far, the yellow ones are my favourites.
Jolly Ranchers just seem so tasty! I asked my friend to ship me some over as part of my birthday/Christmas present. But I dunno when we're going to get around to mailing them. :/
I bought chocolate chips to make some rock cakes (I prefer it to raisins) and they're so expensive! :gonk:
@Ferra: I've never actually had a turkish delight before. :ninja: What do they taste of?

It must just be my town that doesn't have them. :gonk: I may complain to Tesco.
