No way! Missouri is the worst state ever. That's why it's called Misery.

Well, im from the United States (go figure, the land of technology whores, right?) And a little fun fact here: Not all of us live for McDonald's and vidoe games here. I, for one, enjoy meditating, documentaries, skateboarding, music, nature, socializing, ect; ect; <3

Seriously? I always thought it must be such an awesome state, because all of my favorite bands hardly visit anywhere EXCEPT Ohio. Its like all of the famous people's friends live there or something

I totally get that!
When I explain my "home" now, I have the added complication of trying to explain American geography to non-Americans (since I no longer live in the US). However, in my case "home" looks a lot more like the second to last picture rather than the last one. There are tons of forests near my old home.

Lucky :( our forest is really small... I live by a little forest.
Funny thing about that picture though is that I actually have that EXACT conversation with people... because I live near seattle...

Lol! Well I usually just tell people "near Seattle" and leave it at that. I don't think I've ever met someone here who has been to my hometown, even the people I meet who are from Washington. I've met a few who know the general area though.

Ohhh! Well in that case, I think I know which one you mean. That's not really "in the middle of no where" though. It's pretty close to a large city at least. (Assuming I'm correct. )

If I'm explaining where I live, I can never say my actual town because no-one's ever heard of it. I stay in a place called Dingwall, but the closest "major" city to that is Inverness, and still that's pretty unheard of. I settle for the North of Scotland and leave it at that haha

@ Tea in a Bucket - I have in fact heard of dingwall... though I have no idea where that is because I live on the other side of the world. I've heard of Inverness as well, but alas I never learned the geography there so I wouldn't be able to find it.
