Presumably, yesterday you amassed an absurd amount of V-Day candies and chocolate.
How much candy did you get? How much did you give?
What's your favorite V-Day candy? Did someone get it for you?
What's your least favorite? What would you never ever gift to someone else?
I didn't exchange any candy yesterday, but I did have some chocolate cheesecake that I made the other day
I'm not gonna lie, I like the stupid chalky message hearts. There's nothing delicious about them but I can't help but eat as many as I can get my hands on!
My least favorite has to be the assortment chocolates. There's rarely anything I like in them, and that's assuming I can figure out which one that is. I've received very few boxes that actually come with a key that tells me what's in them.
Personally I think Easter has better candies :ninja:

I got a heart shaped box of chocolates plus a few bits of candy from my kids. Didn't give out any candy and the one thing that I went to make for my boyfriend turned out awful. x.x
My favorite would have to be the heart shaped sugar cookies. Or those Ferrer Rochelle chocolates. But you can get them anytime of the year. Worst kind for me is the chocolates that have cherries in them and the raspberry flavored ones. *makes face* And yeah, I wish more boxes had the keys to let you know what is what.
And I do believe that Easter has a lot of great candies. I love Peeps and the Cadbury eggs. xD

I don't like the chocolates with actual fruits in them (especially cherry) but I really like the Ghiradelli raspberry filled chocolate squares
I've never really been a big fan of chocolate-covered strawberries, either. I do like chocolate-covered bananas though.

My students all gave me candy! ^^ However, the amount of actual chocolate made me sad. I had too many cookies and suckers. I want chocolate bars and hot cocoa. Even a chocolate cupcake would have been nice. Haha, I'm kidding, I loved the gifts. I'm allergic to assorted nuts anyways, so a box of that would have made me depressed.
My best gift was a sunflower. I can't wait to grow it.

I can't eat chocolate. :(
Most Valentine's Day candy isn't exactly high quality, though. Cheaper chocolate tastes like chalk, those little hearts taste like chalk, and there isn't much variety otherwise. As far as holidays go, I'm perfectly happy not to get any candy for it.

Nope, no chocolate at all. It's got a hefty amount of theobromine in it, which is a big cause of heart burn. Some people don't have any problems with it, but I've always found it to be to be too much for me to handle.

Chalky heart shaped candies make me want to vomit. The smell, the texture, everything! Bleh.
I do like chocolates, though. I got some secret admirer chocolate and I think the mystery adds flavour.

Meh, you get to the point where you don't even miss certain foods anymore. For a long time I had to cut a lot out of my diet, but now I'm slowly adding them back in little by little. Giving up chocolate isn't so bad in the grand scheme of things.
Besides, it just means that my boyfriend has to actually put some thought into a Valentine's Day gift for me. He could stand to exercise his brain once in a while.

Sounds like me trying to give up caffeine. I can have small quantities but too much of it (like a LOT of chocolate, or moderate amounts of certain sodas, or any amount of coffee) makes me sick to my stomach :gonk:
I was having such a hard time controlling myself that my husband finally had to switch from Mt. Dew to Sprite because I'd drink whatever soda was in the house, even if I knew I'd get sick off of it. ._.
But, at least he's really cut back too, and after his headaches went away he felt a lot better xD

Only thing I got was about a dozen left over sugar cookies from my mom's dinner. She makes the best sugar cookies so I'm not complaining.

I got some Ferrero Chocolate Combination thing. Yeah, I'll eat it.
I'm a little sad that I didn't get any chalky hearts! I should have picked some up in the spirit of Valentine's day.
But ah well~ There's lots of candies still left out there. :ninja:

I don't like the boxes of assorted chocolates, either. I only eat the chocolate covered almonds and peanuts in them. XD ...I'm not really a fan of those nasty hearts, either. I also hate chocolate covered cherries. > _ >
I don't really have a favorite kind of sweet, but I ended up with a ton of mini Reese's Cups and Kit-Kats. I liked them lots. Nomnomnom.
I made my husband heart shaped sugar cookies with red and white icing. ♥

I was excited for the clearance candies! Found out I can't eat much sugar though because my body decided to try to eat my pancreas and my blood sugar levels are a bit unstable. I love those candies that have the orange falrvored stuff in them covered in chocolate.

Pff, who really needs a pancreas anyway?
We get to go shopping tonight so we're gonna see if anything on clearance is left. I've really been craving some fruity chocolate and a bottle of wine.

I'm not the only one who didn't get anything! XD
Honestly, I don't think I've ever gotten anything for Valentine's Day. Like ever. Not even in elementary school when everyone gave stuff to everyone because we didn't get the romantic part of the day >.> I'd just give people stuff and then sit in the corner until the festivities were over, kinda like I do now, except that now I don't give anyone anything .-.
If I got anything, however, I probably would eat it. I'm not a fan of those heart things, and I don't really ever get chocolate from people so I doubt that that would be one of the things I'd get XD...
