what kind of rps do you usually like? Fantasy, more real life style, steampunk?

I do like fantasy I am not one for steampunk. I don't understand it which is why I don't do it. I am more into real life things. I have been writing a story though which has an idea I am just not sure how I would go about it in a one on one though. x.x

Basically its about a young girl named Tommy(Tommy isn't her full name its just short for her real name which is Talissa), She has schizophrenia so her father had sent her to where her father works which is both a hospital and a scientist lab too. Though Tommy doesn't see it like that, she sees everyone as an enemy and everything is a nightmare. Though she meets Jason Tyler(who goes by Jay) though he is actually the son of a powerful mob boss. They escape from the hospital.(the hospital has a very advanced security) and they basically runaway together. Tommy's father though tries to find her basically because he is afraid she will harm someone.

well we could do that ...
what we could do is have one of us play Tommy and another play Jay. we could both control characters such as her Father and Jay's father ...

really you wouldn't mind doing that? I always feel my plots are too...well developed.
