Age: 19 (aproximately in earth years)
Likes: The music of her species, the cold, the stars, the full moon, rural areas.
Dislikes: Bright sunlight, overcrowded areas, cities, spicy food
Other: Kiara is a member of the ice variety of her species and so is most comfortable in the cold and frigid weather. She has not yet learned how to fully access her draconic state as that is only available to her species when they turn twenty because their body cannot handle the change if it happens too early. She can shift between human and hybrid forms

((That's what the hybrid form is for. That is her preferred form and the one she is in most often but, when needed, she can asume human form. I just wasn't able to find a dragon-human hybrid image that I thought worked. Now it's your turn! Let's see your character!))

Other: Also goes by Alice, she is part Japanese hence her last name. Is a bit of a scatterbrain and a little tsundere.

Kiara Daemon, one of the select few chosen to leave their planet to seek out another hospitable place, opened her eyes and looked at the small screen that showed the emptiness of space. It was a small screen, only about ten inches each side, and invisible from the outside of the pod she was currently inside. She had been selected to travel to a planet orbiting around an ordinary star, a planet that was teaming with much varied life, the dominent species bearing a striking resemblence to their earthbound forms.

Currently she was in her preferred form, well preferred for the moment as she was unable to access her full adult form. It took characteristics from her earthbound and, as of yet unaccessable, sky bound form. She was curled up tightly inside the pod, which was thankfully cushioned for comfort during travel, and wondered how long it would be before she reached her destined planet. Her mind flashed back to the day when she had been sealed inside the pod along with the hundred or so others that were to leave Pyros that day. Fifty male adn fifty female selected at random. She suposed she was one of the lucky ones, one of the few that would leave the planet before the disease that was rapidly spreading through the population took her too. She wondered if her little brother had been selected. She hoped so. He was young and strong and would undoubtably survive the journey. He would have been chosen. She was sure of it. if not...she could only hope that he had died quickly and without too much pain.

She closed her eyes again, allowing her body to fall back into stasis as the pod continued to travel through space, getting closer and closer to the destined planet, third from the star, labeled planet Zar'an by her people. To her it seemed only a few seconds but in reality she was traveling through space for five years, her body and mind kept in complete isolation and seemingly frozen in time. She did not feel the impact of the pod hitting the atmosphere, nor did she feel it as the pod hit the ground, creating a small crater. She slept on, oblivious, waiting for someone outside to find the release mechanism that would open the pod and allow her to enter this strange, new world.

Alice was just finishing her club activities for the day, she was a foreign student living in Japan, although she was part Japanese she was born in America but had to move here to live with her grandparents due to parents work. It seemed like it was going to be a normal day like any other. She attended an all girl school where she was extremely popular, mostly due to her looks, but there were other reasons too.

She was minding her own business when she saw something falling from the sky, her eyes widened. What the heck was that? An alien invasion? That was impossible, that only happened in sci fi. Though she was curious to actually see what the thing was so she trailed after it. After it landed she noticed a large crater, she knew that other people would come by soon and see what was going on.

If this were America they would send off whatever was in there to Area 51 and do strange experiments on it! Well she thought anyway, so she stumbled down to the object curious as to what was in there, but there was no way to open the thing except for a few buttons.


"Umm..." She looked at the mechanism and just started pushing random things, wondering why she was even bothering with this.

Kiara's eyes slapped open as a button was pressed on the outside of the pod. She couldn't see who was outside due to the position of the screen but she knew one thing. She was getting out. The screen had deactivated now and the small window she had dissappeared. Next to go was the fluid that had been encasing her to keep her instasis. As it dreained away the breathing apparatus retracted into the wall, dissappearing so that she was in a perfectly egg shaped inside.

'Finally,' she thought as a small crack appeared in the wall, extending and letting in the first light she had seen in, she wasn't sure how long it had been, all that mattered was that it was light and soon she would be outside, breathing fresh air and basking in the rays of a foreign sun or moon. The crack widened and soon a small, oval opening was made as parts of teh pod retracted. She began to uncurl herself, moving towards the light and pushing out, ungracefully falling to the ground as there was no ramp to climb down. She lay on the ground for a moment before beginning to stretch, uncaring of any beings that had released her. She had been cooped up in that pod for ages and she was going to stretch as much as she liked! First it was her arms, uncurling from around her body and reaching out above ehr head. Next was her legs, currently in the fetal position. She stretched one, then the other, loving the feeling of her limbs not being so confined. Next came her tail, uncoiling from around her waist and flicking in the air. Finally came her wing, the large bone and membrane structures unfirling and gleaming wetly in the light. She was still wet from the suspension fluid and the armour/clothes that she wore clung to her form tightly.

Her eyes were closed against the brightness of the light but she needed to open them, to see this new world that she had landed on so, slowly, she opened her torquoise coloured eye, black, slitted pupils dilating in an atempt to stop too much light from flooding the retina all at once. Her pointed ears flicked, taking in the sounds around her. It all seemed so quiet. She wanted to raise her head, to look around properly, but she had not yet regained all her energy. She felt like a hatchling again.

Alice was surprised to see what came out of the thing! Whatever it was, it was female. She watched the thing stretch and thought how cute she was. Was it an animal of some kind, of course this was an alien so she had to be careful, what should she do or even say? Could it understand English? She bent down in front of her, looking at her face and offered her hand. "Umm..hello? Welcome to Earth." What else was she supposed to say? This situation wasn't an everyday occurance, this girl was in a foreign land, it reminded Alice of herself she wasn't from around here either.

A face suddenly came into view, similar to that of her earthbound form. She blinked, staring up at the figure as the words registered in her mind. She stared at the girl, for the figure was clearly feminine in orientation, as her mind worked out what the other had said. The pod had not been idle as it flew through space. While it had been taking her to her new home it had been feeding information to her, directly into her brain so that she would be able to comunicate. Her mind was still slightly sluggish though so it took a while to form a reply.

"Who are you?" Her voice was slightly hoarse from lack of use but, thankfully, not overly so. She began to move her limbs, thankful that control seemed to be coming back, as she atempted to pull herself up into a sitting position.

Alice watched her, she was so adorable! "Uh, my name is Alicia, but everyone call me Alice. Do you have a name?" This was so weird, but she was kinda enjoying herself. An actual alien! "Where are you from?" She hoped she wasn't going to overload the poor things brain with so many questions, a big smile formed on her face. Maybe she could take her home with her? Where else could she stay? Leaving her here would have been a bad idea anyway, especially if the media got a hold of this.

Kiara blinked at the female, no, Alicia she ahd said her name was, had she not? She wished her mind would catch up to teh situation at hand. It was disorientating having her thought patterns moving at such a slow rate.

"I am known as Kiara, Kiara Daemon. I am of the world Pyros, a world located around a star which your species has yet to name or discover." Her mind seemed to be speeding up, thank Saphira, and she was able to clearly answer the other female's questions.

She watched the human's expression, taking in the emotions which played accross the clearly expressive features. The other female was clearly excited, probably at the fact that she had been the first of her species to discover an outside being from another world. That would make sense. She moved again, fully pulling herself into a more comfortable position and leaning against the pod to ensure that she kept herself upright. It would be highly embarrassing if she fell to the ground once again. Once was enough for one day, she was quite sure.

Alice looked at her, this was so cool. "Uh, if you can walk, would you like to come home with me? If we stay here there'll be trouble." She spoke and offered her hand, "I don't live too far away, and besides It'll get dark soon, and creepers walk around at night it's dangerous." Was this girl some sort of dragon? She had a lot of questions to ask, but seeing as she just woke up she didn't want to bombard her with questions. She was like that in the morning too. "I'll hold you if you need support or anything." They would have to hide this egg thing somehow too, this was the last thing she wanted the media to get their hands on.

Kiara pondered the idea of going with this girl. She seemed genuine enough and much more willing to listen than any other that could have found her. She shuddered to think what would have happened to her if one of the local law enforcement bodies had taken hold of her. From the research she had done of the planet before being sent to the planet via the pod she knew that the phrase "if it's alien, it's ours." would probably be used in context with her.

"I will come with you," she said finally. "As long as you are sure it will not cause trouble. And I can walk. My body merely needed time to regain it's full motor functions." So saying this Kiara braced herself against the pod and pushed herself up, using the sturdy shell as leverage so that soon she was on her feet, swaying slightly but perfectly mobile. She took the chance to stretch again, this time reachign high into teh air rather than horizontally accross the ground. Her tail flicked and her wings twitched. Oh how she longed to take off and soar through the sky, to observe this new world from a clear vantage point, but she knew that that would not be a good idea at the moment.

"Give me a moment," she instructed the human, Alicia, before closing her eyes and concentrating. It would not do to draw undo attention to herself just yet. She would need to use her fully earthbound form rather than teh hybridisation she was currently in. She focused, imagining her tail slowly receeding back into her spine, the scales which were hidden by her garments melted back into smooth skin, her wings retracted into her shoulder blades, leaving two red marks to show where they were located. Finally, when she opened her eyes again the slit-like pupils had gone, replaced with rounded, human-like pupils. She appeared completely human and the only thing out of place were her clothes which, in the long run, she doubted mattered all that much.

Alice watched in amazement, "Wow I didn't know you could do that." She looked at her and smiled, "And no I don't think it will be a problem, does that hurt? If you need to you can use that other form of yours at my house you don't have to stay like that. My grandparents are a bit weird, but I don't think they'll care too much." She looked at the curves of the alien female, did all of the women on her planet have such killer figures? She blushed darkly as she turned away and started back up the crater "You could just fly out right? Oh but I guess that's a bad idea...then again you'd probably be harder to see and night than you would in the day--ah!" She slipped and fell down wards onto her bottom. The crater was bigger than it looked.

"I would much appreciate being able to remain in my natural form," she told Alicia as she began to climb out of the crator. She watched as the human fell, slipping anf falling. The slope of the crator was actually rather steep. As Alicia fell and landed on her bottom Kiara reached out a hand and grabbed the other female's arm before she could slide down any further and possibly colide with the pod. "And I thought I was the one that needed to regain control of her limbs," she quipped dryly, smirking at the other female.
"Oh, and to answer your previous question, no it does not hurt to retract my craconic features. It is merely...uncomfortable. Think of it as a rather irritating itch just below the skin, still there but not reachable. It is why I prefer my hybridious form. It is far more comfortable than this earthbound one. Now, shall we go from this crator? The pod will be fine. It has a cloaking divide that will activate when I am a set distance away."

"Oh...yeah." Alice shook her head and got back up, taking the girl's hand. "So soft.." she said out loud, she blushed lightly and followed her out from the crater. "Okay my house is this way," she said taking the girl through the streets unknowingly still holding her. Eventually they came to a house that stood next to a shrine. "Home sweet home, it's big though so don't get lost." She took her up the steps to where a large building existed "I live in this house, my grandparents live in the one below, this is usually used for guests and such but I live here. Since it'll be just you and me you can stay in your other form all you like." She said taking her up to the door and opening it "After you," she smiled softly.

As they made their way through the streets, passing buildings, humans and a few animals that Kiara was unfamiliar with, Kiara took the time to study her new surroundings. This would be her home for the foreseeable future so she would need to get used to it. She decided not to ask questions as they walked, figuring that there would be time enough later for that. She remembered the female's reaction to her touch earlier but decided to make no mention of it as the girl seemed embarrassed about it. She also made no mention of the fact that their hands were still intertwined.

As the reached the front entrance of the house where Alicia said she lived Kiara could not help but admire the place. From the outside it looked like a beautiful place by human standards, even by her own people's standards if she was honest, and the shrine nearby, at least that was what she asumed it was, added to teh pleasant, aomost picturesque atmosphere. She nodded her head as the door was opened for her and she stepped through into the building. Aomost immediately she allowed her draconic features to reappear, a sigh of relief passing through her lips before she had a chance to quell it. She mentally cursed herself for showing such a weakness but it felt so much more natural, so much more right in her hybrid form that it was an involuntary reaction.

"Thank you," she said, turning back to Alicia.

"No problem, I bet you feel better now. Are you hungry? What kinda stuff do you eat?" She was starving herself, it was just about past her dinner time. So what did alien dragon girls eat anyway? "Make yourself at home," she smiled at her. She walked into the kitchen which was its own separate room, and began to scavenge for anything edible she honest didn't like to cook, but she felt like she needed to do something nice for her. "Say, do you breathe fire? Being a dragon and all..." she called out from the kitchen.

No I cannot breathe fire," Kiara replied. "Although there are many that can. Our species is divided into severlal subsections and of them there are even more hybrids between the different races. The main branches are fire, water, wind, lightning, shadow and light. I myself am a water and wind hybrid. The combination of teh two elements allows for an afinity towards ice. It is one of the mysteries of our species as some offspring of mixed breeds lean towards one afniity or another whilst others have their own, separate, abilities."

She watched curiously as the human moved about the area where the food was prepared. "As to your other question..." Her stomach chose, at that moment, to give a rather undignified rumble. Kiara felt the blood rush to her face as the sound echoed through teh house, or seemed to. Had her stomach really made such a noise? Well she suposed she hadn't technically eaten in years...

"Ohhh someone's hungry~" Alice giggled. "Huh that's interesting, so you can use wind and water? Can you shoot ice out of your mouth then?" She imagined it, that would be useful on hot days if she could do that. "So what do dragon usually eat?" She pondered this as she continued to look around the kitchen.

"I can only control them to a small extent, barely anything. Ice is my element and my strongest afinity," Kiara explained. "As to what I eat...I am unsure of the food on this particular world so I will rely on you to decide what is apropriate. I am not a fussy eater. Anything will do."

Kiara looked around, spotting a chair and sat down. Her tail shifted, wrapping around her waist and her wings shifted so that they would not be flattened against the back of the chair as she watched the other female move about the kitchen. She could see her through the doorway even though she was in the sitting room area.

"Oh okay..." she said as she looked through everything and eventually ended up making fish and rice, with a side of miso soup. She wasn't savvy with Japanese cooking so she ended up doing it American style. It took a few minutes to an hour at most, but once it was done she set the table and smiled "Okay it's ready."

Kiara's enhanced senses, thanks to her hybrid form, picked up the smell of food almost instantly. She moved towards the set table and sat down, looking at the food. Her stomach let out another growl, telling her that it was most definitely time to eat. She restrained herself though, wishing to wait until her host was also seated.
"It smells and looks amazing," she said, taking in another, larger, whiff of the air. The scent of the fish combined with the rice and soup was setting her senses on overdrive.

"Uh..hehe I didn't know what to make so I just did whatever...I don't know," she was a little embarrassed. "I hope it tastes as amazing, I don't know if you have different taste buds than I do, I don't even know what Dragons eat." She was a little worried this could be poison for her and that would be bad. "Hmm...what she we do?" She began thinking, "Since you're going to be here living with me we'll have to sleep together I only have one bed, but it's big. Unless you don't sleep, or there's a preferred way you do it, my knowledge of dragons and all that is kinda bad..."

"Draconian," Kiara corrected. "That is the name of my species in your tongue I believe although 'dragon' is a close substitute I supose. We are strangely similar to the creatures in your myths and legends."
Kiara looked down at the food before picking up her utensils and beginning to eat. It took a great deal of effort not to wolf the whole meal down in one large gulp. She controlled herself, barely and took small, controlled bites, knowing that it would last longer and make her feel fuller for longer if she did so.
"I do not mind sharing a sleeping space with you," she told the other female after a few bites of fish. "I am used to sharing sleeping quarters with my nest mates so it will not be much different I presume." She took a few more bites of the rice and fish, finishing it rather quickly before moving on to teh soup.
