((Bah it's fine, I do the same thing. lol As long as I get an answer once a week I'm happy. ))
Garrick watched a little nervously as his guest took a bite of the meat. He hoped it would please him, but had no idea what demons ate. They probably had feast every day, or ate the worst things possible. Katon was probably used to finer things then meatloaf and bread. As the amethyst haired man praised his cooking, Garrick let out a breath he'd not even known he'd held in.
Smiling, the young wizard twirled the fork in his hand absentmindedly. "My mother taught me a little, but mostly I needed to figure everything out by myself once I decided to move out. My first attempts were disasters. Even spaghetti turned out a wreck." It should have been much simpler for him considering how easy it was to create complex spells for him. But no, cooking had stumped him for the longest of times and still gave Garrick trouble.

Katon hummed in contentment as he continued to eat as he listened to the other talk. His mother had taught him a great deal on how to make food. He suddenly felt a pang of sadness when he heard that too, though. He never really remembered his mother, nor his father for that matter. What he did remember was that his father had been pure evil. Shaking his head to try and rid himself of his mental musing he was able to as he took another bite of the delicious food. It was so different from the decadent foods that he was served when he was in the palace. However, it was still one of the more delicious and filling things he had had in a while. The food in the demon world, while palatable, was always made with too much sugar and the like.
He continued to eat the food, relishing the taste of it. Glancing at his plate he noticed that it was half gone, and he began to eat a bit slower. The food wasn't going to run away from him after all. He learned a lot about the other male. He had left his clan, his mother had taught him to cook, and he was a self taught sorcerer practically. What more did he want to learn about the other male. There were just so many things. He wanted to know things like what the other's favorite things were, to why he had been summoned here. Sure, he knew that he had been summoned here to help the other male with his spells and sorcery, but what kind of spells. He may have been a demon, but still there were things in the mortal realm that he would not do, and that included teaching certain things to certain people. "So," he began. "You clearly summoned me here for some reason. To teach you more powerful magic perhaps. What kind of spells did you want to learn?"

It was strange how hearing the sounds of approval the other man made had his heart beating fast against his chest. What was this feeling? Garrick felt like he'd had Katon's company forever, though he knew that was far from the truth. Shaking his head, the wizard put his plate aside with a frown. He'd done so many rash things lately, and all were because of this demon. As he took a moment to think about it all, Garrick became filled with confusion. This wasn't the way he usually acted around anyone!
Katon's question snapped the young man from his thoughts with a start. "Originally I wanted to learn necromancy, as I've mentioned. But now ... " Trailing off slowly, the brunette shifted so he leaned against the other man. "Now I don't know what it is I want to learn anymore." There was of course an unlimited amount of spells, many of which were considered far too dangerous to practice. That fact didn't bother Garrick, in fact he usually reveled in the challenge. Now though, he worried slightly about what might happen if he tried such a spell with Katon present. Some of them could hurt even someone as inhuman as the amethyst haired man, and the thought sent a twinge of panic into the wizard's mind.

Katon listened intently to what the other male was saying. Necromancy; the art of bringing life to the undead. An interesting skill in itself. He had done it quite a few times in his career as a demon general. It was one of the "forbidden" arts though. However, he was exempt from that law since he was of such a high stature. "I see," he said. He then looked at the other as he tilted his head. That wasn't what he wanted to learn anymore? What did he mean by that. Necromancy, in its own right, was a rather powerful skill. For a mere human to accomplish such a feat would place Garrick above the rest of it, that Katon was most sure of. Glancing at the other male he continued by saying," Well, there are some things that I can't teach you, but think about what you want to learn about. I can always protect you in a barrier if things get too out of hand."

Garrick mumbled something unintelligible and leaped up from the couch. He was just too confused about everything. Katon's arrival had turned his internal world upside down, making the wizard act in the strangest of ways. One moment he wanted to strangle the other man, and the next he wanted to pull the demon close and never let him go. Conflicting emotions were not Garrick's strong point.
To push them from his mind he moved to his bedroom and changed into a pair of loose fitting pajama pants with a dark plaid pattern, shot with green stripes. He didn't bother putting on a shirt, but instead clambered under he quilt he'd taken with him from home. After a few moments Garrick sighed. "I'm going to sleep now, it's something humans do from time to time." For now his sarcastic tone had returned, though with his changeable attitude there was no telling when it would be replaced with soft regard for his guardian, his guest.

((I wish there was a way to mark RP's that you have already looked at as "unread" so you know which ones you need to update. So sorry, yet again, for not updating sooner)).
Katon blinked a few times as he watched the other male's form retreat away from him, and go into the other room. What was the other male doing? First, the two of them were having a nice conversation with one another, or at least he thought that he was having a nice conversation with him. He eyed the other male when he came back in a pair of pants, and there was nothing on his pale expanse of his chest. He licked his lips as he looked up and down the other's male's figure. He wrenched his head away though when he heard the other say that he was going to sleep. He found himself nodding, and he almost began to ask the question that was itching at the back of his throat. He wanted to ask Garrick if he could join him, but then he mentally smacked himself. He could never love a human. Sure, teach and respect, but never love. "Alright," he said as he got up as well. Demon's didn't sleep, but he needed to figure out something to do while the other got his well needed sleep. He could mediate, it was the closest thing to sleeping after all.

(hah, yeah that would help a lot.)
The couch wasn't as comfortable as his bed, but Garrick really didn't car. He would toss and turn anyway, haunted by thoughts of the very long day he'd just spent in the demon's company. Everything had made his heart and mind flip flop around worriedly in ways the brunette had a hard time coping with.
Eventually his mind calmed and his breathing slowed. Hair fanned out about his head like a halo, making Garrick seem young and vulnerable in a way he wasn't when awake. Small sounds of fear escaped his lips as nightmares of witch hunts filled his dreams.
He remembered none of it as he awoke the next morning. Though remaining in bed was a tempting idea, the wizard truly couldn't. Sleepily, he rubbed his eyes to try and chase away the snippets of dreams that remained. Garrick had forgotten about Katon for a brief moment, but remembering the other man suddenly brought back all his confusion all at once.

((Ya I did. Our computer that we have in the staff lounge is shot, so I have to read the replies on my phone to pass the time.)).
Katon let his mind run detach itself from his body until he fell into an almost dream like sleep, but then he ended up snapping his eyes open. What had caused him to do that? Cracking his eyes open, he glanced the darkened room. The blinds had been closed in the room, but what little light from the moon cascaded shadows around the room. A sliver of moonlight illuminated Garrick's face, and it was pulled back in a grimace. Raising an eyebrow, he got to his feet, and almost let out his own yell when the other let out a moan. It sounded so sad, like that of a wounded animal. Leaning over the other male, he let his hand gentle ghost over the other's cheeks. He didn't want to wake the other up, but he also wanted to make sure that he was alright. The last thing he needed was for the other to get sick, or even die. Once Katon was sure that Garrick was alright he sat back down on the floor again, and resumed his meditating.
He heard the other begin to move around, but continued to pretend as if he were sleeping. It wasn't like Garrick knew that demon's didn't sleep.

With a sigh, Garrick shook his head and moved to the kitchen. Before doing so, he had moved Katon to the couch with a feeling of guilt. The demon was his guest, yet he'd been forced to sleep on the floors. To make up for it, he supposed, the young man took out a frying pan and began cooking an omelette or two. The sizzling sound filled the air, along with the smells of the onions, and peppers, Garrick had thrown into the mix. Once that was done the brown haired man placed them carefully onto two different plates.
Then it was bacon and toasts. Hopefully Garrick would like all of this as much as he'd seemed to like the meatloaf from the day before. For a moment the wizard let the confusion overwhelm him again, but pushed it aside as he grabbed the white glass and placed it upon the table. Orange juice and apple juice followed, along with everything else you might need on a breakfast table.
After surveying his work one last time, Garrick sauntered into his living room to peer down uncertainly at Katon. Was he awake yet? Maybe it would be rude to wake him up after everything he'd already put him trough, what with forcefully binding them together and all.
((haha O well, it's no big deal. Hopefully the computer at work gets fixed soon))

Katon continued to sleep as he drifted from lucid dream to lucid dream. He was dreaming of a time way before he had met Garrick. It was the time when he had first become a demon. He inwardly grimaced at that, since it wasn't his choice to become one, but it was all in the passed. Rolling over in his sleep the dream shifted again, and he was standing in front of his other generals. They were going over battle plans that they would be presenting, but decided at the last minute that they would go back to the drawing board. The Demon lord was not pleased by this, and he was punished most severely for it. It has been over 4 years, but his wounds had just finished healing.
The smell of cooking food made his mouth water, and he managed to open his eyes and peer around. He didn't remember much about where he was, but then it came flooding back to him in a rush. Rolling over he got into a sitting position as he saw the other hovering over him. He blinked a few times as he stretched a little. He really wanted to stretch out his wings, but since the two of them bonded Garrick controlled him in body and spirit, something that would take some getting used to. Sniffing the air again he let his eyes slide closed, wondering what kinds of delicious foods could be making that wondrous aroma. "Morning," he managed to mumble out as he looked at the other male. Getting to his feet he reached up to the ceiling with his arms as he balanced on the balls of his toes. "What smells so good?" Katon was rather hungry since existing in the mortal plain right now took a lot of energy. He knew that his body would get used to it, but until that time it would be tough.

He felt like giggling at the way Katon mumbled. It was endearing in a way that some of his other mannerisms simply weren't. The young man moved forward and reached out without thought to press a hand against Garrick's heart. "Breakfast. How did you sleep?" He was uncertain now, wondering what to do next and why exactly he was so intent on pleasing Katon. Garrick was trying so hard to win him over! After everything that had happened the day before, he was confused still.
How could so much change in a single day?
(sorry for it being short)

Katon glanced at the other male. How did he sleep? He had never been asked that question. The servants that helped him with his daily routine never spoke to him. Hell, they didn't even meet his gaze. They were too afraid of him, or at least they were too afraid of his master. "Well," he said as he glanced at the other male. He thought about it for a moment. Given the circumstances that he had slept on the couch he was rather sore. It was very different from the double feather down bed that he had had in the underworld. "A bit sore, but I think I will manage." Getting off of the couch he made his way over to the table where he eyed the food. His stomach rumbled a little bit, and he looked down at it with as a faint blush. Licking his lips he looked at the other. He didn't know what it was since he had never helped another person before without some kind of personal gain, but he figured that he could help the other with moving the plates over to the table. It was, after all, the least that he could do in compensation for Garrick taking care of him.

A frown crossed his features upon hearing that the other man hadn't been comfortable. Perhaps when night came around once more they could come up with a different arrangement. With a shake of his head, Garrick turned to his self imposed task with a small smile. He hadn't expected Katon to help him at all. "Today, I'd like you to teach me how to create a creature of magic." Garrick had concluded reluctantly that if he feared harm coming to the demon, he could at least create something to protect him ... And the wizard as well of course!
Settling down to eat, he munched on the food thoughtfully without really tasting anything. This attraction was dangerous for the both of them, yet they were already bound. Of course Garrick was certain he could work on it so that it faded away into nothing, but it would take time to undo.

Katon gulped when he saw the look on the other's face. Then again, was he supposed to be comfortable sleeping on the couch? What was he supposed to do? Lie to the other male. Letting a seductive smile play on his lips he said,"Well we could share come tonight." He then shrugged as he nonchalantly added," I mean it's the least that you can do for me seeing as how I am training you and all." He then eyed the other more cautiously when he heard Garrick say that he wanted to learn how to make a creature from his own magic. Garrick was either very foolish or very smart. Once Garrick had used his magic to create his creature he could use it to protect himself which was rather unfortunate for Katon in the even that he wanted to end the life of the other so he could make his escape. Clearing his throat he thought of the best way to ask the other about maybe thinking of something else, less threatening to himself, to do. "Garrick," said Katon as he laid on the concern in his voice. "Don't you think that that's a bit more than you can handle. I understand you're a grand sorcerer, but after summoning me don't you think you should start with something a bit simpler?"
