Hello I am just returning to mene from a way to long break and I am looking to start a rp with someone but I do not have any ideas of the top of my head to do. I have done alot of romance both het and yaoi but I am open to yuri, I love sci fi, horror is one of my personal favorites. I would like to put together a group rp but I would be totally fine with a one on one rp. Tell me what you think. Thank you.

I love the idea of doing a horror group RP. I have yet to explore that genre. Maybe we should brainstorm a bit on that and see that we come up with?

Yes, Well I like the idea of a post apocalyptic world, romance totaly accepted. I could play either a guy or girl or maybe one of each depends on how many people we get.

What exactly could our character be doing in the thread?

I like the idea that they are searching for a new safe place to call home since their home was destroyed. I'm thinking that they survived a war that almost destroyed the whole world and all the major cities are gone along with all modern technology.

So it's kind of like everyone has to start over from scratch?

It reminds me of a book I read called Uglies.
Unfortunately I never had enough money to buy the other books, but it was really interesting.

Ya I have heard of that series I never had the money to actually get it though and it did sound very interesting. Yes they would need to start from scratch although they do contain present day knowledge about things. It is kinda like that sci fi show "Terra Nova" without the time travel and without the dinosaurs. The cities are too toxic to live in from all the radiation from the war so they have to search for a place that is far from any civilizaton (sp?) so they can start to rebuild a home for mankind.

Yea but I first would like to know how many characters we are going to have I can play a few differnt ones if you can I would just like to nail down a number of characters and maybe some of their ages before I do a introduction. They dont have to be character profiles just basic age, sex, name and if they are apart of a couple or if their single.

If we're doing a group I think we should have about six people? Maybe?

Hmm, I usually like to play as female. And my ages range from 16 to 22. I usually like mine to start out single. If they end up with a love intrest in the middle of the RP i' fine with it. ^-^

Is that okay? Should I provide more information? o.o

I think 6 is great and I am perfectly ok with playing male roles. I think I am going to start out assuming that the group has already been assembled and that we are just starting off on our way. I would like to just have names and ages to start us out for my idea to open the scene.

Well it can be a group if we can find other people who want to join, I am not sure where or how to find these people but I would love to have a group rp but if we have no luck finding anyone then we can do a 1x1.

What exactly do you think it should say?

Probally something like: Searching for 8-10 additional rp partners for a group rp about a post apocalyptic world where the cities are no longer able to live in due to the radiation from the war that almost wiped out the human. A small group of survivors go on a adventure seeking a new place to call home and rebuild humanity. They will have to start from scratch because all of the electronics and modern inventions were destroyed in the war. Please put a brief description of your character (example: Name, Age, Sex, back story if you want to put one). Please do not list super powers or anything non human these are just normal people trying to survive and find a new home.


That sounds about everything add anything you think would be good.

I'm sure this isn't the right place for this but I would love to join your post apocalyptic role play. I don't do group role plays very often cause I'm busy a lot but this one just sounds like so much fun. is it okay if join? I'm no stranger to doubling and can play either male or female characters.
