Abby thought for a moment before answering Tim. "well, I mean, I just kind of sexy. I like the thought of it." Tony rolled his eyes. "Wow Abby. That's gross." He didn't like her imagining what he and Tim did in their time alone. That was between the two of them. He glanced at Tim's rather red face. "Tim, I just noticed that you get embarrassed like a ton. Like all the time. Does it embarrass you that much about what happened?" He sighed.

Tim frowned. Okay... He did NOT like the thought of Abby thinking about him and Tony like that. It's a personal subject that wasn't something that he wanted to talk about. His attention shot over to Tony rather quickly. "What? No!" He said, hoping he didn't sound too defensive. "Of course not. It's just that, I don't like talking about things like that." Tony should know that. It's the exact reason that Tim never really gave any details away about the women he's dated.

Tony shrugged, trying to act all cool about it. "It's fine probie. I don't really care if it's embarresing to you. It's not like we're dating or anything." His voice was to flat, showing to much disappointment, and he knew he wasn't fooling anybody. Abby knew she'd screwed up by bringing this up at all. Tony got up and very loudly and rudely stated that he had to take a piss. Abby shook her head, knowing that was Tony's way of showing he was angry. He was usually extra rude like that when someone was getting on his nerves, or when he wanted to be left alone. She guessed this might be a bit of both. It was kind of her fault too. If she wouldn't have said anything, he would have continued his day and just kept staring at Tim like a love sick teenager. Her making a big deal over it had annoyed him and hit a raw nerve. "So he's still not over you not loving him back? He's the same old immature Tony." She said, wondering if Tony ever planned on growing up at all. She'd always seen how immature he was about relationships. She guessed it was because he was so very afraid of rejection. It was kind of sad really. "Sorry Tim.." She sighed. "I shouldn't have acted line that. I guess I was just nosy."

Tim frowned slightly, watching Tony closely. He hadn't said anything about being embarrassed, just that he didn't like talking about those type of things. Where did he get the idea that he was embarrassed? He made a mental note to ask the other man about it later when he had had time to cool off. Tim sighed, turning his attention to Abby when Tony left. He had to agree with her that she probably shouldn't have said anything about it at all, but if he had said anything about it, he would upset her. So he was going to remain silent about it. Tim sighed, turning back to his desk, thinking of what he should say to her. "There's always a good time and place for asking those type of question Abs, and now just wasn't that time." He said, shrugging slightly.

Tony knew he was overreacting, but Abby really had gotten on his kerves and brought out his anger. He was a lonely man, and being reminded that he only had friends with benefits, and no real lover was slightly painful. Hr didn't feel like being reminded that he was completely single and may be for the rest of eternity. Maybe he should go at least try to find a boyfriend. He'd go out tonight for sure. He knew of a great gay bar. Tim wouldn't be jealous he didn't think. Tony thought his friend only wanted him as sexual relief and didn't much care for him outside of that.

Tim glanced in the direction Tony had gone. Maybe he should have said something earlier? Or maybe stopped Abby from what he knew she was going to say. He couldn't help but feel that it was his fault that the other man was upset. Tim figured he could ask him out for drinks later and they could talk about it... Or maybe he should just give Tony some space. Would that be better? He didn't know, but knew he had til the end of the day to decide and he hoped he wasn't going to make the wrong choice.

Tony came back to his desk and sat down, a strange look on his face. He didn't speak for the longest time which earned stares from Ziva and Gibbs. His bad mood was radiating off of him which gave off a 'don't touch me' kind of vibe. Ziva wondered how long he was going to act like that before he chilled out and said something. She was sure it was just what Abby said. He didn't seem to be upset with Tim. He wasn't shooting the other man dark glances or anything like that

Tim glanced over at Tony when the other man came back, but seeing the look on his face changed his mind quickly. He could tell he was in a bad mood, so he didn't want to risk making it work. So Tim turned his attention back to the files on his desk as he got back to work. He needed to think of a good plan to cheer Tony up again, and soon.

When work was over for the night, Tony got ready to go as quickly as he possibly could and booked it for the elevator, getting to it as fast as he could. He needed a drink. No, he needed drinks, defiantly plural. Or maybe he needed a lover. A real lover. He wanted to meet someone who didn't just want to jump his bones. Maybe the Internet would be better than a bar. It seemed like a nerdy thing to do, but it was hard to come accross gay men around here. He was at a place where he needed something stable. A relationship. He didn't want to be so alone all of the time. Being at home alone was devastating. He had no one to talk to and Bo one to snuggle up to. He just wanted a man who made him feel safe and would also be understanding. He sighed, feeling like he was being like a woman. He just couldn't help it. He needed love. That was a thing he'd lost before and now he was ready to have it again.

Tim kept glancing at the clock every few minutes, not liking how slow time seemed to be going. He wanted the work day to end so he could fix things with Tony. He was more than glad when it was time to leave. He blinked, surprised with how quickly the other man made it to the elevator. He jumped up as fast as he could, following after Tony, calling out good night to both Ziva and Gibbs. Tim stepped into the elevator before the doors closed, relieved he got there in time. "Hey Tony..." He began, taking a risk by talking to him, knowing the bad mood the other man was in earlier. "Would you want to go grab a drink with me maybe?" He asked, unsure. Tim hoped Tony would agree, but he wasn't going to get his hopes up.

Tony listened to Tim and then looked at him. Should he go? He kind of wanted to, but at the same time, if he got drink in hand, Tim might be able to get some answers from him. He wasn't sure he could tell Tim how he was feeling, and he wasn't positive he wanted to either. "Ok." He agreed. "For a little while I guess." It was already pretty late at night and he knew most of the bars around would be hopping. "Why do you want me to come with you?" He asked, curiosity gripping him. He wanted to know why Tim would even consider taking him to a bar. Tony was sure Tim already knew how he felt for him, and that shoul've pushed him away, but it didn't.

Tim very nearly breathed a sigh of relief when Tony agreed to come with him to get a drink. There was a part of him that thought the other man would have said no. He wouldn't have been mad if he hadn't want too... Sure, maybe a little disappointed, but not mad. "I just thought we could hang out, spend some time together." he said, dropping his gaze, kind of embarrassed. Tim really did enjoy spending time with Tony, so he wanted to spend as much as it as he could with the other man. He knew this could be a good opportunity to see what it was that was bothering Tony exactly, but he wasn't going to pry for answers. If he wanted to tell him, then he would.

Tony sighed. "Are we taking your car or mine?" He asked, voice blunt and slightly uniterested. He was pretty upset at the moment. He wasn't so sure he wanted to go with Tim tonight, but he didn't want to say no. Saying no would be rude. He sighed again, running a hand through his hair. "Ok. Where will we go anyway?"

Tim frowned slightly, looking at Tony closely. Maybe he made a mistake a should just leave the other man alone... But he wanted to know what was wrong. He didn't want to risk pushing him away though. Tim sighed when they reached the ground floor. "You know what, just forget it." He said, heading towards his car. He was trying to be nice, but it looks like he shouldn't have bothered.

Tony cocked a single eyebrow. "How are you going tonask me out for drinks and then change your mind?" He sighed and walked off. "Fine. Good night i guess." He muttered, his mood worsening. He walked to his car and unlocked it, slipping inside and then shutting the door, just sitting there thinking for now.

Tim would have loved to have gone for drinks with Tony. But he didn't want to bother if the other man didn't even want him there. If they had gone, it would have ended up being uncomforable for the both of them. He sighed as he headed to his car and starting towards his apartment. Maybe it was best that they have some space. It might do them some good.

Tony sat there for a little while before driving himself home. He got on the computer, signing up for a few dating sites and setting up profiles, but not taking the time to acctully look at other people on the site. He wasn't in the mood to look at potential boyfriends. Maybe tomorrow. All he knew was he needed somthing that was going to last a good while. He went to bed after a quick shower and went to sleep.

Tim got home and looked around his apartment. He wasn't exactly tired just yet, so he sat at his computer and pulled open his latest game. A small smile formed on his face as he focused on what he was doing, losing track of time. He blinked, snapping out of it a few hours later. Tim rubbed his eyes as he headed to his room. He changed for bed and dropped down, slowly drifting off. Maybe Tony will be in a better mood tomorrow.

Tony woke up extra early and took a shower, checking his little profile to see who all had been interested. He grinned a little when he saw just how many guys were into him. Perhaps the search for a boyfriend wouldn't be so difficult, but finding a guy who'd stick around for a long time? That was certainly going to be hard. He needed a relationship that was going to last a few years and not a few weeks. He sighed and pulled on his clothes, then walked out to the car and drove towards work. Today was no doubt going to be like every other day at NCIS. He wasn't sure if he was even wanting to go today. He was still a little cranky and his moods had been changing a lot lately. He just hoped that maybe when he got there things would be better.

Tim groaned when his alarm went off and he hit the snooze button. He laid in bed for a few more minutes before forcing his tired body out of bed and into the bathroom. He did not get enough sleep last night, but that was his fault. He ran a hand through his hair before getting in the shower. The hot watter helped wake him up, for which he was glad. Tim got dressed and headed to work, his mind drifting to thoughts of Tony. He hoped the other man would be in a better mood today. If not, he was going to do everything he can to help.

Tony was sitting in his chair, playing a game on his computer. He'd finished his paperwork, and they didn't have a case at the moment, so he was free to just chill until Gibbs got a call saying someone had died. He wasn't sure if he was really in the mood to go on a case. Ziva handed him a fatty fast-food biscuit. He smiled. "Thanks." He knew she must be trying to get him to feel better. He wished Tim would get here pretty soon. He may be hurting about their relationship, but he still wanted to are him.

Tim was running a little late, but it was easy to blame the traffic. It was a little worse than normal. He stopped to get some breakfast burritos for him, Tony and Ziva before arriving at the Navy Yard. He would have got one for Gibbs, but the man never ate one normally. He took the elevator up to his floor before heading towards his desk, handing of the food as he passed. "Morning." He greeted, taking a seat at his desk.

Tony happily accepted the burrito. "O my god! Food!" He exclaimed and took a huge bite. Ziva rolled her eyes. "Wow. You'd think you were starving. You already had a biscuit." He shrugged. "Food is good." He smiled and took another rather large bite. "Taste good." He stated, nearly finishing the buritto with another bite. "You're such a fatty." Ziva exclaimed, not believing how he was eating. She guessed he must be at least a little bit happier, though she could tell he was at least a tiny bit upset still.

A small smile formed on Tim's face as he watched Tony. He was glad that the other man seemed to be in a better mood from yesterday. He hoped he would stay in a good mood now. Tim turned back to his desk, opening his own burrito and taking a bite. He ate quietly, glancing occasionally at the other man, wondering what he could do to keep Tony in a good mood.

Tony had to admit that today was better than yesterday, mostly because Abby wasn't up here pestering them about their sexuality. That was mostly what had gotten him down yesterday. He opened his Internet and searched for some games, finding one he liked and then playing. Gibbs didn't like it when he used the computer for games, but they were t doing anything at the moment, so he didn't see why his boss would disapprove. Hr glanced at Tim a few times, realizing that the other had kept looking back at him and wondering why.
