Tim finished his burrito and pulled out the report he was working on before he and Tony had gone on that one undercover mission. Now seemed like as good as time as any to get it done. He was still glancing over at the other man occasionally, and dropping his gaze quickly when he saw Tony looking back. That was awkward... Tim kept his gaze down from that point on, trying very hard not to blush from embarrassment. He kept his focus on his report, hoping to get it done soon.

Tony was rather embarrassed when he saw Tim looking back and as soon as he saw the other look down, so did he. He stared at his computer screen and felt his face get a rather unpleasant warmth across it. He knew he was blushing and that was...well, rather humliating. "Damn it." He muttered under his breath. He was going on leave first chance he got. This was simply to hard for him right now. He grabbed a request for vacation and filled it out, prepared to give it to Gibbs at the end of today.

Tim glanced at Tony again from the corner of his eye. He tilted his head slightly in curiosity. Was Anthony DiNozzo actually blushing? Wow. That was amazing. He dropped his gaze again quickly, not wanting to get caught staring yet again. That would be even more embarrassing than before. Tim decided to ask Tony out for drinks again for after work. Maybe they can talk through this and figure out what exactly it is that's going on between them.

Tony jumped up as soon as he saw Gibbs. "Boss!" He said and Gibbs looked at him. "What DiNozzo?" He asked blandly, and Tint went over to his boss' desk, laying down the request. Gibbs tore it up and threw it away. "W-What..? Why? I never take a vacation boss!" He protested, but Gibbs glared at him. "I need you here DiNozzo. If you can focus on your work then I'll have you removed from my team." He said, making Tony frown. Was Gibbs really threatening to send him away if he didn't get his act together? Maybe he was just trying to scare him. That had to be it. He went back over to his desk and sat, sighing deeply. Jed been hoping to get some time to start dating, but obviously that wasn't going to happen with Gibbs around.

Tim glanced up curiously at what Tony was doing. He wanted to go on a vacation now? That didn't seem like such a good idea. After all, there was still a guy out there that was trying to kill them... Unless Gibbs got the guy while they were in LA. but if he did, why didn't he say anything about it? Tim dropped his gaze back to his work, pulling a report towards him. He would worry about it later. Right now, he needed to focus on his work.

Gibbs was pretty mad when he saw what Tony had requested. "You mean...there's people wanting to murder you and you ask to go on a vacation?! No!" Gibbs yelled and Tony sat back down, frowning. "Sorry boss." he muttered and sat at his desk.

Tim flinched slightly at Gibbs' yell. That seemed kind of unneccesary. A simply no would have worked just fine. He knew he was most definitely asking Tony out for drinks later. Maybe the other man will tell him why exactly he felt like he needed to go on a vacation right now. Until they got off work though, Tim kept his focus on his work, hoping to get done quickly.

Tony was glad when work was over. He sat at his desk for a moment and held a hand to his head, calming down a little. He wA so stressed at the moment and he felt like he might die if he spent one more night alone in his place. It was simply terrible and he just needed someone to take care of him for a while. He needed a real lover.

Tim was more than relieved when he finished his final file. He seemed liked he had been writing for hours... Which he probably was. He set his finished papers on Gibbs' desk for the man to look over in the morning. Tim glanced over at Tony, surprised to see him still here. Normally he would have been gone by now. But, this just works out for him as he walked over to the other man. "Hey Tony... Want to go out for drinks?" He asked, feeling kind of nervous.

Tony looked up at Tim. "Yeah." He muttered. "Drinks sound really good about now. Thanks." He said, actually smiling a little. it was sweet that Tim even offered. "If I get to drunk can you take me home?" He asked, knowing it was a great possibility that he might get a little overly wasted. He'd been pretty stressed lately. It was horrible.

Tim smiled lightly, glad that Tony agreed. There was a part of him that had thought that the other man was going to say no. He was pleased though and he nodded. "Yeah. Of course." He said. He went back over to his desk to grab his bag and slung it over his shoulder. "Let's get going." He didn't mind if Tony wanted to get drunk. After all, it was the man's choice.

Tony followed Tim and then got in his own car. He drove to the bar, and upon arriving there handed Tim his keys. "Just in case." He explained, not wanting Tim to have to try and take his keys after he was smashed. Maybe he'd be able to control himself though....then again, maybe not. They'd just have to see what happened. He wondered how Tim was doing lately anyway. They'd both been through a lot on the past few days and he knew that must be stressing Tim out like it was him. They were still being hunted as far as they knew and Tony was afraid it was only a matter of time before they
Were caught.

Tim followed Tony in his own car, not sure which bar the other man had wanted to go to. When they got there, he didn't say anything about having the keys. He shoved them into his pocket alongside his own keys. He wouldn't have felt right letting him have the keys depending on how much they drank. Tim shot Tony a smile before heading inside, going up to the bar and ordering the drinks. He definetly needed one. These last few days have been stressful and he was more than ready to relax.

Tony sipped on his drink and looked at Tim for a while. "So, why have you wanted me to come for drinks so bad? Something bothering you Probie?" He asked, knowing Tim had seemed worried lately. Maybe the guy just wanted to talk. He could be a good listener when hr really needed to be and would help Tim in anyway he could.

Tim sipped at his drink, not really planning on drinking too much at first. He didn't want to risk making himself sick. He looked over at Tony when he heard the question. He didn't know why though, but hearing the other man call him Probie made him feel good. No-one else did, so it made if feel special, in a weird sort of way. It took him a moment before he could think of how he should word the answer though. "I don't know..." He said, shrugging lightly. "You seemed upset lately and I thought I would try to cheer you up."

Tony nodded a little. "Yeah..I just...I haven't liked being alone lately. It gives me way to much time to think about other things." He wasn't going to mention his whole Internet dating thing to Tim unless asked about dating or that. He didn't really know if Tim would even want to know who he was seeing. He'd seemed disinterested in Tony's romantic life for ages, and Tony assumed that was how it was now. "I just need a companion." He explained, leaving Tim to think whatever he wanted about that statement.

Tim nodded slowly, taking a larger drink. He knew exactly how that felt. He didn't like spending his time alone. That was why he was always playing those online games. It gave him someone to talk to, no matter the time, day or night. "Compainon? Like a dog or someone to date?" He asked. Tim didn't know why, but he didn't like the thought of Tony dating someone. It never crossed his mind that he was actually jealous by the thought.

Tony knew he had to answer that truthfully. "I want...a serious relationship. I know, that's weird for me, but I'm ready for some commitment." He shrugged. "It's about time I get ready to settle down at least a little. I need the company." He was hoping to find a man to move in with him and stay for a long time. He needed someone to love him.

Tim nodded slowly, thinking over what Tony said. He wanted a serious relationship?... Well, he couldn't really blame him for that. everyone wants to settle down eventually. But for some reason, Tim didn't like that idea. If Tony was going to be with someone, he wanted it to be with him. He was going to offer when the words died in his throat. Where had that thought come from? Since when did Tim think of the other man like that? He pushed the thought aside and took a large drink. "That's good. You deserve it."

Tony sighed. "Thanks...I'm not so sure I 'deserve' anything, but I'm hoping to find someone soon. I mean, bot to soon, but nor to long either." He shook his head. "It's just so hard to find a nice guy who won't be an asshole and just leave after a while. I learned that the hard way some time ago." He'd been with girls like that in collage and was afraid he'd be stuck like that when it cake to guys too.

Tim didn't agree. Tony deserved the best in the world, even if he didn't think so. He made a mental note to see how he could help out with that later. He took another drink of his almost empty bottle, thinking. "I'm sure whoever you choose to be with is going to be perfect for you."

Tony tried to smile and took a few more swigs. "Yeah. I hope so." He was feeling rather blue. What if he never found anyone at all? He wasn't exactly the best at looking and he was afraid that the people he choose would be shallow and kind of...mean.. Or something like that. He was pretty sad about the whole situation.

Tim tried not to frown. He could see that his friend was still upset, but he didn't know why. After all, this was Anothy DiNozzo, playboy extrodinaire. He could have anyone he could possibly want in the entire world. He should be happy... So why was he sad? Tim didn't know and he really wished he did.

Tony knew he shouldn't be unloading all of his problems onto Tim. The man had come to drink off some stress, not be a therapist. He took the last swig of his alcohol and then got another, stronger drink. "We should call a taxi before we leave." He stated since they'd both had a drink. The last thing they needed was to be caught drunk, or even buzzed driving.

Tim finished the last of his drink before nodding. "Alright." He said. He could definitely go with something stronger right now, and he wasn't sure why. He'll figure it out later. But he knew he wasn't going to want to drive afterward, so getting a taxi was probably the best idea. He got himself something stronger and took a small drink, relaxing in his seat.
