Tim shot Tony a quick look, knowing that the other man was good at hiding how he was really feeling, and he couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. Tim knew better than to ask though. So he followed Ziva to the car, intending to sit in the back, but paused when Tony got in first. He sighed, but got in the passenger seat without complaint, knowing that he'd end up sounding like a child. Instead, he turned his attention to Ziva. "Do you know where we're supposed to be staying?" He asked, figuring Gibbs already had a place picked out.

Ziva nodded when presented with Tim's question. "Yes, he's already arranged for you to stay with an agent from Los Angles. There's a man waiting at the airport for the two of you and that's where I'm taking you." She explained. Tony frowned and then leaned up in his seat. "Why do we have to go so far from home? It's not like anyone can really kill two NCIS agents." Ziva rolled her eyes. "I think since Gibbs and I know about your feelings for Tim, we figured you were weaker than you seem." Tony glared at her in the mirror. "What's that mean? That my sexuality determines how strong I am? You're being kind of stupid. And besides, I'm not gay! McGee is the only man I'd even think about looking at." He didn't want to have this conversation anymore. He wanted all romance to die between him and Tim, because he knew Tim was into women. He'd just done what he'd done with Tony because it would be to hard to fake and because they'd been cooped up without sex for weeks. He figured Tim had just been to desperate to say no in that situation.

Tim frowned, not liking the thought of being on the other side of the country. Plus his deadline for his current book was coming up soon and he was only halfway done... He'd have to email his publisher to see if he could get an extension on tbe deadline. If not, Tim was just going to have to work on a computer this time instead of his type writer. He looked out the window, only halfway listening to the conversation between Ziva and Tony. But what he heard made his stomach twist. So the other man did have feelings for him? This was going to make things awkward... Tim knew Tony only thought that he had sex with him because he had too... But Tim actually did want to. And that kind of scared him. He knew if he told Tony this and they did get together and something happened between them and they broke up, they wouldn't be able to work together. Tim loved his job and he knew Tony did as well, so he didn't want to risk messing that up. So, he planned on being quiet about it for as long as he can.

Tony got put of the car as soon as they were at the airport and a large, bald, black man approached them. "Hello." He said with a small smile directed at all of them. Ziva looked at him for a moment. "Sam Hanna?" She asked and he bossed, taking Tony's bag from his hand and then grabbing McGee's stuff as well. He carried it to a private jet, motioning for them to follow. "Bye Ziva." Tony said, waving at here and following the guy who had been assigned to keep them safe. He sat in his seat on the jet, strapping himself in well. "Well, come one Tim." He said before leaning his chair back a little to make himself comfortable. It was almost time to go and he knew this would be a long, uncomfortable flight. That's why he was glad he had an iPad. He planned on playing games and listening to music the whole trip. That would hopefully please Tim as well, because that way Tony would be silent.

Tim looked at this agent cautiously. He seemed to be okay... So for now, he'd have to trust him. He followed the man and Tony onto the jet, waving goodbye to Ziva. He sat down and settled in his seat, closing his eyes. He was completely exhausted from not getting any sleep for such a long time. Tim just hoped Tony would be quiet during the flight so he'd actually be able to get some sleep.

Tony put in some ear buds so he could listen to music. He glanced over at Tim every once and a while. He wodered if the other was alright. He looked so tired. "Tim? You ok?" He asked, concern in his voice. Maybe he just shouldn't bother him. That seemed like a good idea. He laid his head back and continued to look at Tim.

Tim was so close to falling asleep, but the sound of Tony's voice woke up right back up. He stiffed a groan before forcing his eyes open to look at the other man. "I'm fine. Why?" he asked, confused. Was there something wrong with him that he should know about? No... He felt completely fine except for the fact that he was tired... And hungry... He most definitely needed to find something to eat once they landed.

Tony frowned. "I'm sorry if I bothered you. You just look pale..and kind of tired." He knew the worry must be showing all over his face. He'd always cared about McGee, but now he worried even more than he used to. He also used to be better at hiding his worry around Tim, but since the intimacy they'd experienced in the past few days, he was feeling more unlike himself. He just wanted to be sure Tim was ok. He also wanted an excuse to baby the other man and be able to prove that he was good enough for him. He figured if he could prove to Tim that he was useful and not completely worthless, then maybe Tim would like him more.

Tim examined Tony closely, trying to determine whether or not the other man was actually concerned about him or not. He seemed to be sincere... So Tim sighed and nodded. "Yeah. I am pretty tired." Even though it was technically Tony's fault for him not getting any sleep the night before, he wasn't going to say anything about it. Tim didn't think it was worth it. "I'm just going to take a nap for the flight. I should be fine by the time we get to L.A."

Tony tried to give a smile, knowing it looked closer to a grimance. "Yeah, ok." He said softly before turnin back to his IPad, turning up the volume of the music and playing a few games before realizing just how tired he was himself. He yawned and set the device he was holding down and laid his head back, tryng to get comfortable. eventually he fell asleep, just to tired to keep his eyes open. He hadn't slept really well since that night when they'd done the dirty, and then he'd slept well because he'd thought that Tim had feelings for him. Now that he was pretty sure Tim had no interest in him, it made sleeping a little tougher. There was also the thought that they were wanted dead. That made him have a bit of a hard time sleeping as well.

Tim settled back in his seat, closing his eyes again. He was just so tired... But every time he was close to dropping off, the jet would shake, just a little, causing him to jerk back awake. He sighed after the fifth time, giving up on trying. It was obvious he wasn't going to be getting any sleep. So Tim turned his attention out the window, bored out of his mind. Sure, he could probably read one of the books he brought, but he didn't want to get up to get to the book. So he'd just settle for staring blankly out the window. But somehow, his attention kept drifting over to Tony. Tim couldn't quite tell if the other man was sleeping well or not, but he hoped so. At least one of them deserved it.

Tony had been asleep for about an hour when he started to have awful nightmares. Most of them considered of either the man that was after them finding them, or somthing awful happening to Tim. He had one particularly vivid one that shook him bad enough to wake him up, tears streaming down his face. He turned to the window, trying to rid his mind of those images. It had all been so graphic and so realistic. It made him want to hurl. It had been about Tim. The other man had just simply been going out to get them some dinner and someone came up from behind...and they...shot him. Of coarse, his stupid mind decided to add all the blood and gore which made it a billion times worse. "Tim..." he muttered quietly. "Please promise me you won't die." He said, the stress in his voice.

Tim frowned as he watched Tony. Something seemed to be wrong... He wanted to go and comfort the other man, not liking seeing him like this, but Tim didn't want to encourage any feelings Tony had for him. Mostly because he wasn't sure how he felt about it himself yet. He clenched his fists tightly to help resist his urge and leaned back in his seat. A look of confusion crossed Tim's face though when he heard what Tony said. ".. I promise.." he said, keeping his voice low just in case Tony was still sleeping.

Tony wasn't even really relived by Tim's promise, knowing that of Tim was to die there was no way he could stop it. He felt sock at his stomach for the rest of the trip, fading in and out of sleep and crying a lot. His nightmares were awful enough to make even a grown man such as himself feel like a scared little child. It seemed like their lives were falling apart, ruined by their jobs and the dangerous nature of what they did. He wasn't even sure he wanted to work at NCIS anymore. At the moment he was the most tormented he'd been in his life.

Tim kept a close eye on Tony for the rest of the flight, not liking how the other man seemed to be in an uneasy sleep. Despite the fact that he himself was exhausted, he couldn't bring himself to even attempt to sleep while Tony was like this. Tim wanted so badly to comfort him, but he didn't want to risk making the situation worse. So he forced himself to stay in his seat. He sighed in relief when the plane landed, hoping now that they've arrived in L.A. that things would be easier for the both of them.

Tony was also glad when the plane landed because that meant he could stop thinking about all of the horrible things that ha been going on in his mind and his dreams while on the plane. He was hoping that maybe he'd get lucky and not have such horrible dreams again. He grabbed his luggage and then they were lead to a car that took them to a small house. Again, they had to share a bed which would by uncomfortable since what had happened. Maybe he'd just make a pillow barrier for Tim's sake. He was done making the other uncomfortable. "I cam take the floor of you'd like.." He said quietly. "It's not like I plan on getting any sleep anyways."

Tim got his luggage and followed Tony to the car. He led his eyes drift shut, but didn't fall asleep. Not yet. There will be plenty of time for that when they got to where they were staying. Tim looked at the small house curiously, frowning slightly when he got inside and saw that there was only one bed. Really? Why would Gibbs do that? Tim set his bags down before looking at Tony and shaking his head. "I don't mind sharing you know. Just stay on your side." he said, sitting down on one side of the bed before pulling off his shoes.

Tony didn't argue, even though he was extremely uncomfortable with the sleeping arguments. He already felt awkward around Tim and he didn't need this to make it worse. "I hate my job.." He muttered to himself, knowing this was all Gibbs fault. He had the urge to pitch a fit, needing to throw a tantrum, but he knew that was a stupid idea. "I swear when this mission is over I'm resigning!" He groaned, becomeing more and more bitter by the moment.

Tim sighed, before standing up. He knew he was making Tony uncomfortable, but he honestly couldn't help it. After all, it wasn't his fault that Gibbs sent them to a place where there was only one bed. He had to have known something like this would happen. And Tim knew that it was his fault that Tony wanted to quit NCIS. The other loved his job, despite what he was saying. So Tim knew he'd just have to keep his distance for now and hopefully work something out between them after they both get some sleep. "You know what. Just forget it." Tim said, looking at Tony. "I'll just sleep on the floor."

Tony looked rather horrified. "Hell no! I'm not letting you sleep on the floor! You could Hirt your back or something. Don't worry about me. I highly doubt I'll be sleeping much...I'm not even sure of sleep is worth the price it cost at this point." He said, thinking back to his god awful dreams. He didn't want any more of those, and if that meant not sleeping, then so be it! He walked out of the room with a deep sigh, unsure as to what he should do about all of this. He wanted to open up to Tim a little, but he was just so afraid of rejection. He was half tempted to go ahead and ask the other man on a date before it was to late and they both ended up dead.

((do you think you'll be replying to the other one any time soon?))

Tim frowned as he watched Tony. He wasn't going to hurt his back by sleeping on the floor. Plus, he was younger than the other man, so the likelyness of him hurting himself were slim. But he found it would be pointless to argue with him right now. Tim was too tired to try. He pulled his pants off, knowing they would be uncomfortable to sleep in. He took his overshirt off as well, leaving him in just his boxers and undershirt before Tim flopped down on the bed. He moved beneath the covers before falling asleep quickly.

((yeah. I'll get to it tomorrow.))

Tony went and sat on the couch in the living room and watched some tv, not really paying attention to it at all. He had no interest in watching some stupid tv show. He eventully laid down on the couch and fell asleep, but only for a very few minutes before his dreams plagued him again. He sighed and went to stand at the doorway of the bedroom, looking at Tim, smiling when hd saw the man was sleeping very soundly it seemed. He was glad he could get some rest. He'd need it for later no doubt about that.

Tim had a dreamless sleep and for that he was grateful. He didn't want to think about the situation he was in and if he did have to think about it, he preferred it not to happen in his sleep. He shifted in his sleep, feeling Tony watching him and waking up because of it. Tim looked over at the other man curiously. "You okay?" he asked, sitting up to get a better look at him. He hated how tired Tony looked and really wished there was some way he could help him, but he didn't know how.

Tony wondered if it was his fault Tim had woken up, now feeling guilty. "I'm sorry if I woke you...I just came to see how you where doing. I'm fine.." He still stood at the door, admiring Tim from a distance. That was all he could ever do for the rest of his life was admire from a distance. He wanted to be touched, to be wanted. It was bothering him to be so alone, but he knew it was necessary for him to stay alone for a while. He just didn't want to settle for less anymore. He wanted people who were worth something...a person like Tim. Tim was smart, funny, so kind, and very good looking. He was perfect in every way and Tony assumed that karma was being a bitch and screwing him for something he'd done before. He was pretty sure he'd never be happy. His life had never been happy and to assume things would take a turn for the better now would be senseless, stupid even. H

Tim shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "You didn't wake me." He said, even though it was partially true. He just didn't want Tony to feel bad. He took a few seconds to examine the other man, noticing how tired he looked and he barely stopped a frown. He coukdn't help but thing it was his fault that Tony was like this and he didn't know how to fix it. Tim patted the bed beside him, keeping his gaze on Tony's face. "Come lay down please. You look tired." He honestly didn't mind sharing the bed with him, even though he knew Tony did.
