Rodd has missed more then one Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Birthday, Anniversary and various other celebratory events because he was at work. Whether that was at the base near our house or in Afghanistan, or Spain. We had to plan lots of trips around when he would be home.

It will be sparse, that's for sure. Having friends in the military is difficult, my friend Chris is over in Japan right now, has been for almost 2 years. I miss him. Got another friend, scott, he is on a submarine, I get to talk to him once every 6 months if I am lucky.

When Rodd was on deployments I tried to make the phone calls upbeat and happy, no matter what was happening at home. It's not fair to burden them with issues when there is nothing they can do to change the situation. Sounds weird, but truthfully, my anger with a co-worker just never seemed that important when I was on the phone with him, considering he was in the middle of the desert in a war. *shrugs* It's all about the perspective.

Wish, I only put that up there to show that I had the new item. But someday, we will make it England for sure. My parents want to visit and we might just make it a family trip.

I know what you mean. I hate playing the games. The only one I am good at is Fangirls so I play it the exact same way everytime. I have even gotten to the point where I don't buy as many as I could just to save the time of putting them down.

Yeah, but that costs them quite a bit of money I think. I just wish they were a little easier to earn coins on.

I used to earn the 500 every day on the games...
It's much harder to get the gold just earning 250 now.

But if you have Facebook, you can "like" two threads each day and get an extra 50 gold for doing it.
