It can get quite comical. When I was the hospital last year, just about this time, give or take, my family would come in and visit me and my dad would laugh because they would be talking to me and would lose the conversation because I fell asleep. Talking to me was weird since I couldn't follow along.

My husband was there with me all the time, from the time visiting hours started to when they ended. It was lonely in the hospital for the 4 days I was there.

Awww your husband sounds like my step-dad... when my mom went to the ICU and almost died he was there day and night as soon as he got off work until almost he had to go to work again only sleeping a few hours a day

He would bring in his laptop and we would watch movies in between my pain med shots. They really messed me up, but took care of the pain I was having. Damn Pancreas and liver were not happy with me because of the gall bladder. Got me out of work for six weeks. Three weeks to recover from the initial onset and then another three weeks to recover from the surgery.
