Both kids were a holy terror today. The one is being broken from using a bottle and when I wouldn't give him one, you would have thought the world was ending. He was super mad at me for not letting him have it. His female counterpart was harassing the cat and despite being told twice not to head butt the cat or pull the tail on said cat, she continued doing it. So she got her hand smacked and sat in time out. And before people get all up in a tizzy about me smacking a child's hand, it's the back of the hand and I use two fingers. Nothing hard, just enough to get the point across that whatever action they were doing is not acceptable.
I do believe in corporal punishment and that when used effectively they are tools for a parent in the correction of their kids. Can't imagine why this world is suddenly over run with people that feel entitled to things...most of them were given whatever they wanted whenever they wanted by parents that barely raised them and then they wonder why their kids have a hard time adjusting to real life and work.
*climbs off soap box* Can't imagine how I got up there, but I am sorry for my rant. Two terrorizing toddlers can fry the brain a bit.

i don't think hitting a child, like spanking their butt is bad. xD i mean most of us had that growing up and we all turned out fine. for the most part!

i keep reading things like kids now-days feel too entitled if we raise them as if they're precious porcelain. and that they will not be ready for the real world when they are adults and will have to learn the hard way.

I want the weekend to go by fast and yet I don't. It's a conundrum of the highest order. Got to find my damn W-2 for the last 4-5 years for the job I am going through background check for because they are fucking moronic about their reasoning and I want it go fast because Monday night after watching the toddler heathens all day, I get to pick up the rental car for the trip to CA. Which I cannot wait for! Found out my cousin and his wife that live in Georgia will be at the wedding, haven't seen them for quite awhile.

We spent Thanksgiving at my friend's house with her family since we weren't doing anything with my family. Her mother in law made the turkey and it was delicious! Only bummer was she used gravy from a jar...guess no one is perfect. Oh well.

After dinner, the husband and I made it over to Wal-Mart for some Thanksgiving day shopping, got the one thing we went for, today was another round of shopping for little things and we got a pedicure for the wedding previously mentioned. My nails are black with a white heart and silver fill in, matches my sister's wedding colors. Haha. I am a dork like that .

My phone is on the charger, but I will take a picture tomorrow and post it so you can see my pretty nails. I am also in the process of trying to figure out which hair style I want for the wedding. Definitely doing an up-do, but I want something I can sleep on since we are going to Disneyland the next day and don't want to have to worry about brushing my hair out, or deal with it much the next day, if that makes sense.

I completely agree with you. If more parents believed in corporal punishment the world would be a better place, but parents insist on being their child's friend instead of being a parent. I can't seem to imagine the world 15 years from now...........

Hey Kirin! I'm doing great! Rodd and I just got to the hotel after spending the majority of the day at Disneyland. My feet are tired. My sister for married yesterday and we decided to fit in a trip to Disneyland.

I have never been to Disney. Oh and by the way I would like the new item please.

Wish, that happens to be the best of us. I started my new job on Monday so it's been kind of crazy and hectic for me. Adjusting to a new job and schedule, plus there is the new commute. Kind of hellish, but ya know what, it's worth it. Kind of like the company that I am working for, yet there are some people that need to go. Hopefully they will get weeded out when we hit production and they can't hang.
