So now I have the V-Day Hairpin, Decorative Stockings and the Queen's Crown to give away. Oh! Almost forgot that I found a captain's hooch in my giveaway drawer, so that is another big item to hand out.

Looks like the next few events could be good ones for someone or someones!

I don't think we have too .... I believe if the items come from our personal stash we can keep the gold but I'm not sure someone should ask the staff

I was told that any gold I make from selling raffle tickets I have to give away.

Yes and I already have plans to give away gold.

I always thought it was if the items yours you choose to keep it or give it away and if it's stuff from the URE mule donations then it was given away or returned to senders , guess I learned something new o.o I would have f,d up that I was thinking about buying really expensive stuff and keep half the gold from tickets so I would have funds for the next event but I guess I will change up my plans

Kirin, think of it this way: You are a participate in a sticky thread during the URE, your host is holding a raffle for items that you presume were DONATED by other users to be used as prizes for the sticky threads during the event. The host doesn't say where or flat out says the gold that you are paying to participate in a raffle of DONATED prizes stays with them for future events.
Now, logically think about how that sounds like scamming. Cause it sounds like scamming to me and I have a strong feeling that it would sound like scamming to the MODs and other staff of the site.

We have to be fully transparent with how items that are purchased with donated gold or donated directly are handled.

If you want to use prizes that you bought yourself or already had in your inventory and you clearly state that fact and all gold received will be put towards those costs or used at another event, I would think that would be all right.
When you say that you will be using the gold for future events, do you mean another URE? Or a giveaway thread during a regular site event, or for you personal use? Because that will make a difference as well.

UREs aren't meant for people to make money off of others.

Play games and chat. It would take eight days of playing the games to max gold capacity to make the two thousand necessary to purchase an item from me. That's not terrible. Tetris is my favorite of the games.

Not lazy, most people don't think of it that way when playing the games. It's the realist in me coming out.

Posting, especially long novels on double gold day is a very good way of building up your stash.
