Harry nodded as Severus left the room, and took a seat on the edge of the bed, holding Draco's hand tightly in his own. "Listen Malfoy. I know we haven't always gotten on well... or at all, really... I'm sorry for that... and for what happened to you tonight, though I had nothing to do with it..." harry said softly to the blond boy. "Just please get through this, Malfoy... I honestly can't imagine Hogwarts without you and your sidekicks running around causing trouble for me..." He said with a small chuckle, brushing a few strands of hair from Draco's face. "C'mon, Ferret. You'd better not die on me..." Harry added with a grin, which then turned to a frown again. "I know what's happened to you... I-It's happened to me, as well... If you can here me right now, Draco, Then when you wake up, I'll be here if you need someone to talk to." He said, giving the pale hand a gentle squeeze, then fell into silence, humming a soft melody to himself and Draco. It was so familiar, he just couldn't remember where from. He figured it must have been one his mum had sung to get him to sleep- no one else in his life had ever sung him a lullaby. He jumped slightly, shocked when the door opened. He relaxed though, seeing it was only Poppy. He made no move to leave, though, knowing the medi-witch would work around him if she had to. He didn't think he'd be able to, anyways- part way through his little speech to Draco, the boy's hand had tightened around his own, and refused to let go.

Severus and Albus stayed in the outer room for a moment as Albus wanted to Speak with the younger man. "I was thinking Severus, could the young Mr. Malfoy be persuaded to take your place as a spy for the order."

Severus' nostrils flared an his eyes grew wide as he listened to the Headmaster. "What?! I may have willingly sold my soul to you save her, but I will be damned before I let Draco back into that circle." Albus backed away slightly from the other man letting Severus vent his anger.

"You know as well as I Severus that the Dark Mark cannot be removed. Would you rather the boy suffer every time his master calls for him," Albus tried to reason.

"I would rather the that then sent the boy back to be violated like a common whore!" Severus left the outer room without another word and proceeded to his room. He stopped surprised to see Harry sitting so close and being so attentive to the still unconscious Draco. Walking softly Severus approached the bed as Poopy looked up. There were a few more bandages on the boy and four empty potions bottle's beside the bed. It looked as if Poppy had magiced Draco out of the torn dirty robes and into fresh pajamas. The medi witch approached him and pulling him to the side of the bed.

"Severus...He should be alright given time. You did a wonderful job with most of his wounds, but what worries me though is this," Poppy stated before pulling back the shoulder of Malfoy's gown. There was an angry red bite wound larger than most men. Greyback! Severus forgot that the animal and his pack had been allowed to move into the mansion with their master. "I've done what I can, but since it's a magical bite it will take longer to heal without magic. Am I right thinking this is from His werewolf?"

Severus nodded still dumbfounded. The bastard had let the wolves participate?! His legs suddenly buckled and he fell to the floor on his knees, clutching the wall with one hand.

Harry pulled away from Draco, and went to Severus, kneeling beside him. Placing a hand on the professors shoulder, he looked at him questioningly. "Sev, you okay?" He asked softly, worried for the man, and for Draco.

Severus looked at Harry. His eyes were wide and her looked at Harry as if the boy wasn't kneeling beside him. Resting his hand gently on Harry's he tried to focus his thoughts. Poppy excused herself after checking over her patient. Severus started to cry softly, not as hard as he cried after finding Harry, but still the tears steadily flowed. He pulled Harry towards his chest holding him close. He cupped the back of the boys head and tried to stop his tears.

Harry wrapped his arms around Severus, holding the man as he cried, letting him do so. "Sev... Everything's gonna be okay... Draco will heal, and... and I'm sure Moony can teach him how to control his inner wolf." He said softly, stroking the surprisingly soft black hair.

Severus didn't know what had come over him at that moment, but he had to fight with everything he had to stop the tears. After a few moment of crying and enjoying the warm comfort of Potter's arms. He returned the affectionate hug nearly purring as the young man carded his fingers through Sev's thick hair. He pulled away enough to look into Harry's bright green eyes. They were filled with the same care and worry that the potions master had seen many times in Lily's eyes.

"Thank you Harry." The pulled the boy close again for a brief moment laying a kiss on Harry's forehead. They were still withing the circle of each others arms when Severus heard the first whimpers coming from Draco. He untangled himself from Harry then approached the bed.

He cautiously laid a hand on Draco's to wake him from what ever nightmare was beginning to torture him. "Draco...Draco. Your alright. Your safe."

The blond's grey eyes snapped open unfocused and disoriented. He immediately lashed out at Severus thinking he was an enemy. The potion's master held the boy's wrists in a soft grip, "Draco focus on my voice. Your safe. They cannot hurt you again."

"Severus?" came the croak. Severus let go of the boys hands and suddenly found himself wrapped in a crippling hug from his godson. The potions master kept his grip light letting the blond leave at anytime. Draco looked over his godfather's shoulder and locked eyes with Potter. "What the HELL is he doing here?"

Relaxing in Severus' strong hold, Harry was happy to be getting this attention from the Potions Master. He jumped a little at the soft whimper, and turned to watch Severus and Draco while Severus woke and comforted the blond. Harry flinched a little at Draco's tone. "I'm staying here for the summer..." Harry said, glaring at Draco a little, before it softened, remembering just what the boy in front of him had been through hardly an hour earlier.

Standing, Harry approached the bed slowly, trying not to scare Draco at all. He knew how fragile a person was after such experiences, after all. "We're not much different, you know, Malfoy." He said softly, looking up at him with only kindness and pain in his eyes- not an ounce of pity showing. He knew that was the last thing the boy needed, if he even wanted it.

"You and I Potter are nothing a lik-" Draco began, Severus interrupted him quickly making sure the boy didn't say anything he would regret.

"Draco, Harry has been through more than you or I could possibly imagine." Severus kept his tone light. He wanted the boy to know he was serious, but not angry. Years under the leadership of the potions master had taught him the difference and Draco looked over a Harry again. The grey eyes softened before he burst into tears.

"S-severus...She let them- Oh god..." Draco covered his eyes in shame at the display of emotion. Severus rubbed a gentle hand up and down the boys thin back, much like he had with Harry. The blond winced as he tried to lean closer to the potions master. He touched his own shoulder briefly for a moment, before letting out a blood curdling howl and clawed at the dressing reviealing the bite mark, "No, No, NO! I can't be..." He grabbed at Severus' lapels, "Tell me that isn't...please Severus."

Severus didn't say another word just pulled the boy closer as he broke down. The blond beat a fist against the potions master's chest, "You should have let me die. You bastard, why did you save me...now I'm f***ing monster!" Grabbing the pounding fist Sev took both of Draco's hands in his own and pulled the boy tighter against him letting Draco scream and fight all he wanted.

"Your my godson Draco. I promised your mother I would always protect you." That was as close as Severus could get to expressing his emotions for his godson. He took the boy's porcelain face in his potion stained hands. "You will live Draco. You will conquer this trail, just as you have conquered your problems before."

"But the mark, Severus. I won't survive if I have to go back before Him again." Draco's voice was soft and broken.

"You never have to go back. I can make your excuses to the Dark Lord and the Headmaster will let you stay here." Draco nodded as he listened to his godfather.

"Alright, but I still don't understand why Potter is here."

"Draco. He is my guest, assistant and soon to be Slytherin. That is all you need to know. You will treat him with respect and understanding." Severus' eyes grew cold and hard for a moment, but softened to kindness and...love when he looked at Potter. Draco was puzzled, but too exhausted to question it. The blond stuck his hand out towards Potter like he did on their first day.

"Well then. Pleased to meet you Potter." He gave a light smile.

Harry hesitated briefly, then grinned, and took the hand that was offered this time around. "Same to you, Malfoy." He said softly. He kept hold of the boys hand a moment before releasing it. "I do hope we can overcome our past prejudices, and possibly become friends." He said. "I regret not taking your hand back in first year.... And... if you need anyone to talk to about... recent events..." He started, nervously. He let the statement hang there, knowing Draco would understand the offer of him willing to listen, hoping the boy would accept. It would help him to talk about it, despite how painful the memories might be. It would help Harry as well, as he'd never gotten the chance to tell anyone.

"Thanks Potter." Draco smirked, what could have happened to Potter? The blond could see how thin the boy in front of him was even thinner than himself. Something must have happened to the boy when he was living with the muggles.

Severus watched the two younger men shaking hands. His heart swelled a bit with pride in his godson and Harry. He placed a hand on Draco's shoulder getting both of the boys' attention. "My door is always open for the both of you as well." His hand slipped from the blond's shoulder to rub up and down his back in comfort. Severus watched as Draco's eyes started to droop. The blond needed his rest if he was to heal. The potions master rose and pulled out a dreamless sleep potion; then helped a still sore Malfoy lay down on the bed.

"Draco, I want you to sleep here until we get a room set up for you. Drink this." He handed the boy the potion and watched him down the concoction. He pet the silver locks in a tender touch before pulling the covers tight around the blond. "Rest Draco, we'll talk more in the morning."

Severus motioned for Harry to follow him out into the living room. Albus and Poppy had shown themselves out, but the potions master doubted that would be the last time he saw the two today. He led the boy to the couch and summoned tea and cakes for the both of them. Severus took a plain cupful of the soothing liquid, his stomach still rolling from the sight of his godson.

Setting the tea down he looked deeply into the yellow flames before him. "Harry, would you like to talk to me about what has happened to you? I know that talking about such incidents usually brings those affected a measure of peace." the potions master reached across his lap taking one of Harry's hands in his own.

Harry poured himself a cup of tea, adding a touch of honey to it before curling up on the couch beside Severus. He looked at the man nervously. "I... Which part of what has happened to me?" He asked, not knowing where to begin. He was worried how Severus might react to knowing that while he'd been stuck in the graveyard in his fourth year during the triwizard tournament, the same thing happened to him as had happened to Draco, minus the wolves being present. And how he'd react to the rest of it, as well.

Severus took a deep breath and set his tea down. This was going to be difficult not only for him, but for the boy as well. It was something that needed to be done especially now with Draco in the picture. Severus as more than happy to care for both of the boys, though he knew Harry would require more of his time. The potions master reached across to Harry and took one of his hands.

Severus was not normally a one for physical contact, but he tried knowing the young man before him needed the contact. "You can start where ever you wish Harry. I promise you I can handle it."

Harry took Severus' hand, and leaned against the man. "I...I'm not quite sure how to begin... or if I really want to.." He said softly, tilting his head so he could look up at Severus. "It's Albus' fault though... He's as much to blame as they are..." He added. "He knew of their intolerance to Wizard-kind... He knew they'd been keeping me in the cupboard under the stairs. I told him they weren't fit guardians... I begged him not to send me home to them... He ignored my accusations and my pleas, though..." Harry turned, and hid his face against Severus' shoulder as tears fell down his cheeks.

Severus held the boy close tucking Harry's head under his chin. He wanted to say how sorry he was, but it was pointless. There was nothing he could do to restore what had been taken from Harry and pitty would not help the boy. His large nose settled into the young wizards' dark hair absorbing the warm wholesome sent. "They're gone Harry. I have you, they can't hurt you now."

His arms wound tighter around the boy and he started to rub the slender back. There was a heavy weight settling in his chest that had nothing to with the weight of the boy in his arms. The way Harry spoke about his abuse under the Dursley's told him there was much more to the story. He waited patiently for the boy to continue.

Harry snuggled into the warm body of Severus. "Thank you, Sev... You have no idea how much this means to me..." He said softly, though he didn't continue talking about his relatives. He wasn't ready yet to go into detail about it. "When exactly are we going to go and get me new things, Severus?" He asked softly, curious.

Severus enjoyed the warm weight of the boy in his arms. He found his breath was slowing syncing up to Harry's as well as his heart beat. Slowly he found his eyes drooping and his head resting more and more on the boy's. The potion master had never experienced love and comfort like he was feeling now. Severus listened to Harry's soft tone as he spoke, surprised that "You are very welcome Harry. You do not need to thank me for providing you comfort."Anything you need Harry. I promise to give you anything you need.

Severus started to run his fingers through Harry's hair. "We should be going to Diagon Alley soon. I believe that Mr. Malfoy should come with us, I was unable to recover any of his things. We will have to go later and make some special arrangements. The Dark Lord will still be looking for you." His arms tightened around the boy at the thought of the Dark Lord getting the boys.

Harry nodded slightly. "We could use glamours... All three of us... Or I know many of the stores have catalog ordering, too, if that's easier,..." He said, though he'd really prefer the chance to get out of the castle and into the world.

"Glamor or Polyjuice potion would be preferable. Both you and I need to get out of the castle for a little while." Merlin, Severus could not wait until the war was over and he could walk freely among people again. He looked into the bright fire, the heat it emitted paled in comparison to the heat he felt while holding Harry. The sides of his mouth curled up slightly at the thought. "Besides there are a few things I need to get that cannot order from a catalog. Thank you Potter for helping Draco this evening."

"It was no problem, Severus... I...I know what it's like, what he's been through..." He said softly, not looking at the professor.

Severus pulled back from the boy only slightly. As he looked into the bright green eyes he felt the urge to kiss the younger mas' lips. He of course would not act on his urges, choosing to give instead a soft press of lips to Harry's forehead. Part of the potions master's mind yelled, What are you doing? Your taking advantage of Lily's boy. He was about to tell his inner voice to shut up that he was doing nothing of the sort when a knock at his door sounded through the small space. Severus undid himself from Harry's octopus of grip.

A louder knock sounded through the chamber making Severus move faster. Damn whoever that is, they better not waken Draco. The Slytherin opened the door to a slightly more disheveled Lupin. His dark brown eyes were rimmed with gold and his breathing shallow. He started to speak, but the potions master stopped his with an up turned hand. "Before you speak, Remus and embarrass yourself have you taken your second dosage of Wolf's Bane?"

"Yes, Snape! Don't be foolish, I wouldn't be around anyone if I hadn't." Severus was about to bring up the incident from a few years ago; the very night the werewolf had almost killed him, but stopped as he watched the man take a deep lungful of air in through his nose. "Where is he?" Lupin's voice was darker than pitch and thick with the tones of the wolf lurking just beneath the surface.

Severus' eyes widened and his wand appeared in his palm. "Harry is sitting right there Lupin..." He stopped suddenly; Lupin's low growl permeated the dungeon.

"No where is the pup?!" He pushed past Severus knocking the dark haired man to the floor as he moved through the room. Severus could see him heading for his bedroom and...Draco. He raced after the wolf, but stopped at the sight he beheld as he stood in the doorway.

Lupin was curled around the blond whimpering. "I'm sorry pup...poor pup, not alone anymore, Moony take care of white wolf." The flow of nonsense digressed into low whimpers and yipps.

Harry was confused When Remus barged into the room, and headed straight for the bedroom. He got up and went to the door, a little shocked but smiling softly at the sight before him. He entered the room, aproaching the bed slowly, keeping an eye on the wolf that was awake. Reaching the bedside, Harry placed a light hand on Remus' shoulder. "Moony... Calm down. your white wolf will be fine... I know you'll do a good job teaching him... But you'd better treat him right, Moony." he said softly so only the wolf would hear. The way Remus was acting, was much like the way he'd been told a were acted with a close or new member of their pack when they were injured. Usually only pups or mates were treated like this- he was unsure which Moony saw Draco as.

Severus watched in surprise as Harry calmed the wolf curled up to this still sleeping godson. Draco even looked more peaceful than he had before. The blond was subconsciously snuggled up to the older wolf and breathing more evenly. Remus' lithe bosy was trying to tuck itself He approached the bed slowly and stood beside Harry.

Lupin raised his head and let out a soft huff growl towards Severus as he approached. Severus' elegant eye brow raised nearing his hairline. "Remus I will remind you that I am Draco's godfather, and will not be growled at like some junkyard animal." The wolf gave him a toothy grin then huffed and snuggled around the bow almost purring.

The potions master laid a hand on Harry's shoulder. "Harry, I do think I deserves and explanation of what has just happened."

Harry nodded, and took Severus' hand, leading the man out to the main room. "I'm not completely sure why, but as far as I've been told, Remus is acting the way a were will act with a close or new member of their pack when they're sick or injured.... But usually only pups or mates are treated like that..." He told Severus. "I'm not sure which Remus sees Draco as right now, though..."

"Well...well." Severus cleared his throat and tried to wrap his mind around what Harry was saying. He sat hard on the couch with an undignified 'wumph'. "Accio Fire whiskey." He had inherited a Malfoy, Potter and werewolf all in the course of a few days. His quiet life was about to go out the window. The potions master poured himself a large glass of the amber liquid and poured it down his throat in a quick gulp. Another glass was poured and down his throat before he could think.

Harry took the bottle away from Severus after the second glass was poured. "Sev..?" He asked, looking up at the potions master as he sat next to him, looking worried.
