Arachne's sad smile slowly shifted into a soft happy smile as she listened to Basou's words. "I see," she said, "I'm glad that you don't find me to be a threat." She smiled a slightly bigger smile, just enough to where her dimples showed.

Basou looked at her and was happy to see her smiling now. "That's much better..." he said to her and chuckled at her dimples. "Why would I find you a threat Arachne?" he asked her curiously.

Arachne shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno," she said, "Maybe cause I'm half spider... and because spiders trap their meals in their webs and eat them..." She blinked once, still staring at Basou.

Basou stared at her for a long time before speaking. "Well...true..." he said and crossed his arms across his chest. "Would you do that to me though?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

Arachne shook her head. "I wouldn't," she said, "You're too nice for me to do that kind of thing. Besides, I only eat wild animals and fruit."

Basou nodded. "See? Then I have nothing to worry about." he said to her and played with his hair. "I also love fruit..." he said to her and yawned softly.

Arachne blinked a couple times when she heard him yawn, her head slowly tilting to the side. "Are you tired?" she asked, "There are a few rooms here where you can sleep if you want to."

Basou shook his head. "Nah, I'm fine..." he said to her. "Well..I am a bit sleepy, but what will you do then?" he asked and looked at her. "I can keep you company a bit longer if you want." he added.

Arachne shrugged her shoulders slightly. "I dunno what I would do," she said, "I might go to sleep too. Or I might take down some of the old cobwebs and make the place seem a bit cleaner..." She looked around briefly before turning her attention back to Basou. "If you're tired then you should sleep," she said, "It's not good for your health to stay up when you need to sleep."

Basoud looked at her and nodded. "I think you should sleep too...you were probably up for a long time you know..." he said to her and was glad that she couldn't see his smiling face behind his mask. "Well I guess I'll get a bit of sleep then Arachne...I hope you do too..." he said and began to walk off to find a room to sleep in.

Arachne nodded and smiled. "Good," she said, "I'll try to get some sleep, too." She headed down the hallway and up the stairs to the room she usually slept in.

When Basou found a room to sleep in, he thought of her and chuckled. He wasn't going to deny that she was beautiful...but he really didn't know her too well just yet, he was still cautious around her.

When morning came, Basou yawned and opened his eyes, rubbing them as he looked around the room. It took him a while to remember what happened and where he was.

Arachne woke up the next morning with a yawn. She slowly climbed down from her large web and left her room, quietly closing the door behind her. She didn't know which room Basou had stayed in, so she decided to wait for him to come out. She stayed silent as she went to the living room, a tired expression on her face.

Basou slowly got up and walked out of his room. Looking around, he walked to the living room where he saw Arachne. "You look tired still...didn't sleep well last night?" he asked as he walked over to her.

Arachne shook her head slightly. "I slept fine," she said, "But I just woke up, so I'm bound to still look tired." She yawned softly, blinking a couple times before looking at Basou. "Did you sleep well?" she asked.

Basou laughed. "Yeah I guess you're right." he said and scratched the back of his head. "Oh me? Yeah I slept very well." he said and nodded. "It took me a while to remember where I was when I woke up though." he said and chuckled. He then remembered that his friends were still waiting for him to come out of the house. He had survived the dare...so now he was free to leave.

"That's good..." Arachne said. She blinked a couple times, her gaze turning to the door. "Sounds like your friends are almost here," she said, "You survived through the night. You're free to go. I won't keep you here against your will."

Basou stared at the door then looked at her. "Yeah, I'm sure that they're waiting..." he said and nodded. "Your existence is safe with me..." he said. "I won't tell them that you're here..I'll just say it's a ghost too.." he said and shrugged. Basou wondered if he would ever be able to see her again though.

Arachne shrugged her shoulders with a small sigh. "Do you know how boring it is to never leave this house?" she said, "Except going into the back yard, that is..." She paused, then opened her mouth to speak again. "It gets very boring."

"Then...why don't you leave for a walk at times?" he asked her. "I mean...if you don't want to bee seen you could always walk around at night when everyone is sleeping." he said and frowned. "I imagine it must be very boring to always stay inside a house." he added.

Arachne shook her head. "There are nocturnal being who live in this forest," she said, "I can't just waltz out whenever I want. It's actually rather dangerous for me to."

Basou frowned. "I'm sure there are times when you can go outside though...I mean...you can't possibly be stuck inside this house for the rest of your life, you have to get out Arachne." he said to her. "You can go crazy just staying inside forever...you need to go out and breathe some fresh air."

"It's not safe for me out there, though," Arachne said with a sigh, "I do get out, though. The back yard, remember? It's just got some coverage from the trees so I'm not spotted easily... I still wish that I could get out more often, though. I just don't have anywhere to go."
