Kirin nods. "I'll think about pressing charges." He says softly. He hugs himself just wanting to cry.

"You should press charges, in my opinion. Scum like that shouldn't be on the streets." Rita says.

Terrance nodded in agreement. Then he finished his soup and his drink. He looked up wondering about what to say next. Then he gets a telepathic message from a familiar voice.

"I hope you're doing well, brother, even though we're not on great terms," The voice said, "No use to changing destiny, it is what it is. If things that I told you about long ago are happening, maybe I can help you cope. Although I still hadn't made a good impression on your partner though."

Terrance sighed and forgot who he was around for a minute. He smiled blankly and then sent a message back to the voice, "Well sis, you can still be a good person, you can break that destiny and help people..."

Rachael sighed as she was on the rooftop. She smiled bleakly and then telepathically replied, "You should let your real voice shine, baby brother. Don't try to be a Northerner. So what if no one likes your accent or mistakes you for that other guy. People kill to get that accent of yours. Your partner should hear it more often, and so should the people if you decide to stay in politics."

Terrance takes out his smartphone and looks at the new text message he received, who could it be from?

Rita goes and puts her arms around Kirin. Kirin leans against letting himself cry he sobs softly. Rita strokes his hair softly as he cries against her shoulder.

Terrance sighs not because of feeling Kirin's emotions, it's because of his big sister. He tells them that he'll be right back as he goes onto the roof top of his home.

As soon as he got up there, his sister was right there waiting for him.

"Well, well, kid brother," Rachael said as she smiled, "I knew you would come up here."

Terrance sighed and wondered what his sister was going to tell him this time. He was just confused and mad that she was right about his life.

"Don't be mad, kid brother," Rachael said as he took out a glass a champagne, "You should be proud of yourself. Anyone else would had left that kid in the dust. Years ago, you would of been with the woman of your dreams and be in self-denial."

"What's the point?" Terrance said in anger.

"Point being, give the kid a break and don't try to break your destiny. If you even try the slightest bit..." Rachael said as she took a few sips from the glass, "You'll regret it later. I know I did. I am sad and alone..."

"You're sad because you're a selfish---" Terrance said and then bit his tongue as he didn't want to be un-gentlemen like, "and you treat people like play things! What happened to you sis!"

"Only if you knew, kid brother... your lover might know what I been through, but he won't trust me the slightest bit," Rachael said as she jumped off the roof and landed on the ground on her own two feet, "See you around, Terry."

"Grrrr..." Terrance said to himself as he went back inside and didn't have the slightest clue what his big sister meant, nor could he peak at her mind. Since that part of her mind was locked up like a briefcase.

Kirin is cleaning with Rita though he's still a mess. He still shakes like a leaf. He sees Terrance and just goes and hugs him tight.

"You two go spend some time together. I'll clean up." Rita says to them.

Terrance nods and holds Kirin in his arms as they go to the living room.

"Kirin, I was on the roof top," Terrance said as he was stroking Kirin's hair, "It got me thinking but I still don't know what that encounter was about though. All I know is, I'll be with you always."

Terrance stayed close to Kirin. Terrance's sister was outside of the house looking through the window and smiled. She then disappeared and went on her way to a bar.

"Encounter? With who?" He asks looking up at Terrance. Though he is glad to here Terrance say he'll be with him forever. He feels safe in Terrance's arms.

"With my big sister," Terrance said as he knew Kirin might not have wanted to hear that, "Then she said something strange at the end, but I didn't get it nor understand it anyway."

Terrance smiles and wonders if his sister really did know about his future. Why was she not telling him the whole thing, and torturing him with tidbits just to get on his last nerve. Terrance sighed and wondered if he could break his destiny, meaning he could stay in politics a little while longer. Seek the Senate seat and make his overall dream come true.

"I know... I know you have dreams, big dreams. I also know that... what happened to me and any trial could ruin your chances for your dreams to come true. So I've decided not to press charges." He says softly.

"Well, that's the thing Kirin, she said I don't have a true political future," Terrance said as he sighed, "She said that wasn't my destiny. It was only for a short period of time. She said something about something bad happening if I were to break destiny."

Terrance sighed and then finally remembered the last sentences his sister said before she jumped off the roof.

"Was she raped?" Terrance said softly to himself as he referring to what his sister said to him, "Or was it something else?"

He was figuring out if his sister was in a similar situation like Kirin's.

Then Rachael spoke into Kirin's mind, "You're going to press charges, kid, I don't want you to end up like me..."

"I can't... I can't... I won't..." He sends back though he is whispering it as well.

"Promise me that Terry won't break his destiny. He won't like it if he does," Rachael spoke to Kirin in his mind, "Also tell him he finally hit the nail on the head, that Terry of mine."

Terrance then figured out the realization of what happened to his sister and he starts to tear up. Rachael sighed as she was on their roof. She wanted to slap her brother because she wanted him to man up and be there for Kirin. Not cry over what happened to her so many, many, many years ago.

"Your sister says you hit the nail on the head." Kirin says. He puts his arms around him. Kirin wonders what his destiny is. He lets out a soft sigh.

Terrance smiles and holds Kirin in his arms. He knew his sister would say something like that, which would explain why she is the way she is now. Maybe she broke destiny and she ended up the way she did. Then he realized what she has been saying all along, although he wondered if he could now bend destiny a tad bit. Not break it, but bend it to his favor and his partner's favor.

"Just hope she doesn't appear in here some how," Terrance said as he chuckled, "That would scare us and Rita even."

Rachael went back on the rooftop and smiled. She saw some glimpses of Kirin's future but it was a bit hazy view wise. Maybe she had to know Kirin a bit more to get a full picture.

"How you two doing." Rita says coming into the living room.

"I'm doing alright. Still not sure if I am going to press charges or not." Kirin says softly. Though he knows it would be good to get Markus and his goons off the street.

"I think you should," Terrance said as he knew that would be the right and ethical choice, "trust me on this one Kirin."

Terrance then started to wonder if Rachael pressed charges on her 'attacker', although he wouldn't know and nor would his parents. This was the first time she mentioned any of this. He sighed and then answered Rita's question, "I'm okay, just talked with my sister for a bit."

Rita goes and hugs him. She knows of his relationship with his sister.


Kirin is just silent still not sure.

Terrance then stood there as there was silence in the room. He wondered what to say next or would his sister appear from no where and freak everyone out. Then again he wasn't too sure right now.

Rachael was still on the roof top as she looked at the view she had. She wondered if anyone would notice her on the roof eventually. Sometimes she stays still enough to make people think she is a roof ornament. Terrance's neighbor's never bother to ask where the ornament has gone when it isn't up there, but one neighbor in particular is suspicious about the ornament. Terrance just tells him to let it be though.

Rachael decided to jump down to the ground and that neighbor sees her. He is in shock and wants to knock on Terrance's door. Rachael sighs and wonders if she should toy with his mind for a bit.

"I don't know what to do. What should I do?" He whispers. "Terrance, what do I do?" He asks his voice shaking. He hated feeling this way.

"Hm..." Terrance was thinking to himself. He wanted to make sure Kirin knew he was serious that he wanted him to pursue charges. He no longer cared about his political career at this state. He knew Kirin's well being was more important than politics. Way more important. He didn't was Marcus to go after his sister next or him even.

Terrance then looked at Kirin and said, "You have to pursue charges on the guy, Kirin. It's the only way and then after that, we'll take it from there to ease the pain."

Terrance then thought about Kirin's friend Kent and wondered if that kid will be ok. As for Kent, he was just trying to deal with his own issues. He still wondered if Kirin was 'ok'.

"Really? You'll help me with that right?" He says hugging Terrance tight. "Can I invite Kent over?" Kirin asks after a moment.

"Yes I will." Terrance said as he hugged Kirin back, "Of course you can, if you can locate him."

Terrance wondered if Kent was ok, or if Kent was going to be the same. The guy that was with him seemed some what familiar but not really. He smiled and then heard a knock on the door.

"Rita can you see who it is, please?" Terrance asked Rita.

It was the neighbor from across the street at Terrance's door, he was going to complain about the lady on his roof.

"Hi can help you?" Rita asks answering the door.

Kirin pulls out his cell phone. ~Want to come over?~ He texts Kent. He truly hopes Kent is back to himself.

"Yes, tell Congressman Pace, that thing on his roof is a woman." The strange man said to Rita, "I need to talk to him, NOW!"

Kent texts back the following, "Sure thing, just let me know when."

Kent was back to himself, but who knows for how long though because he would revert back at any moment. JJ sighed and wondered what he could do for Kent, since Kent's family somewhat dumped him long ago.

"Excuse me you can't just barge in here." She says not moving from the door way.
