The strange man sighed in anger and then said, "I'll tell the police that his roof ornament is a woman! A real woman!"

Rachael then appeared out of nowhere and commented, "When will you learn to mind your own business like the rest of the people?"

"See, she even talks too!" The strange man exclaimed, "I told you she is real!"

"Just listen to the congresswoman and you might not get sent to the bin, got it?" Rachael said as she smiled at him.

The strange man then went, "argggh" or the sound Hank Hill makes when he is scared/frightened.

Meanwhile Kent text back to Kirin, "Ok, I'll be there in a little bit."

JJ asked Kent if that was Kirin. Kent nodded and JJ then said, "Ok, just be careful now."

"You must be Terrance's sister." Rita says to Rachel with a smile.


~See you soon. Oh and your friend JJ can come if he wants.~ He texts back.


"Kent's on his way." Kirin says smiling at Terrance.

Terrance smiled back and was glad Kirin was happy for now.

"Nice to meet you too," Rachael said as she smiled at Rita.

Kent tells JJ he can come as well and JJ said, "Ok, I should keep an eye on you anyways."

The strange man is confused and is even more confused when Kent and JJ shows up.

"I'm outta here, maybe when I wake up from my nap, things will be normal again..." The strange man said as he ran back to his house and went to sleep, "maybe it won't be a craze fest. Maybe the mutants will be gone! eeeeehehehe!"

The other neighbors look at the strange man and wonder if he is 'okay'.

"Hello there," Kent said as he smiled, "Is Kirin there?"

JJ smoothed back his hair and looked at the strange man. He sighed and had a slight flashback for a little bit.

"Sure come on in all of you." Rita says stepping aside.

"Hey Kent, hey JJ." Kirin says smiling as they come in.

Kent smiles and comes in, so does JJ and Rachael. JJ looks at Rachael and blushes.

Rachael reads JJ's mind and then goes over to Terrance. Kent goes over to Kirin and says, "Hello there, Kirin. I brought JJ, but I think he might have a broken heart after tonight."

Terrance hugs his sister and greets her. "So Terrance I see you're doing well here," Rachael said as she sat on the couch, "When are you going back to South Carolina? You know what I am talking about too."

"I am needed here, and at least say hi to Rita," Terrance said to his sister as he sighed, "I promise things will be okay though."

JJ sighs and sits at a stool. He wonders if Rachael just read his mind or she just didn't like him.

"Are you alright?" Kirin asks Kent. He is worried about his friend.

Rita goes and gets lemonade for everybody. She really doesn't like Rachel but she'll put up with her, for Terrance's sake.

"Yeah, just hope he doesn't come back," Kent said as he relaxes, "I hope you're doing a bit better."

JJ looks at Rita and smiles at her. Then he looks at Rachael and wonders what is up with her.

"Oh, hi there," Rachael said to Rita as she smiled and then went back to talking to her brother.

Terrance sighed and face palmed. He wondered if he could just break destiny just to get rid of his sister. Then again he thought about his sister's back story.

"I'm o.k. Lucky to have so much support." Kirin smiles.

Rita just watches ready to intervene if Terrance or Kirin might need it.

Rachael looks at the time and then said, "Well bye everyone..."

Before Rachael could walk out the door, JJ stopped her for a minute to ask her a question.

"Why did you read my mind?" JJ asked, "I wouldn't be too arrogant if I were you by the way..."

"Who are you?" Rachael asked JJ as she said some other stuff to him.

Kent watched as the event unfolded he looked at Kirin and then at Terrance nervously watching.

"What ever happened in your past, you don't have to take it out on other people," JJ said as decided move away from the door.

Rachael looked at JJ. She wanted to leave but she couldn't, she saw her brother and didn't want to hurt him with the emotions that she was feeling. Terrance's palms started to sweat as he looked at his hand. He was trying his best not to let his emotional-path powers get the best of him.

JJ went over to Kent and Kent asked if he was heart broken. "I think the gal is just confused, she been through her own mess. I'm not heart broken though, I think she is..." JJ said to Kent as he then noticed Rachael 'teleported' away.

"I guess she couldn't handle the truth," Terrance said as he sighed, "Maybe hm..."

Kirin hugs Terrance tight. He is shaking a bit.

"She's interesting." Rita says.

"It'll be ok, Kirin," Terrance said as he reassured Kirin, "I think she got more than she bargained for today. The truth can do that to people..."

"Yeah," JJ commented, "To bad she didn't stick around, I felt a connection. Oh well, I have a feeling I am going to see her again though. I just don't know when."

Kent wondered if Rachael was one of those drifters that wonder from place to place.

"Kent, those kind of gals are complicated, just warning ya' now if you ever date one of 'em," JJ said as he then looked at his watch.

JJ is like a cyborg/android mutant, he has a technological mutation. Most people are turned off by it, while some just won't leave him alone.

"Can I get you boys anything?" Rita asks JJ and Kent.

Kirin snuggles against Terrance glad his friends are here.

"Do you have lemonade?" JJ asked Rita.

"I'll take a lemonade as well," Kent asked Rita as he smiled.

Terrance was glad that Kirin was happy, he wondered if he should take Kirin to the next dinner/event like thing but he wasn't too sure. He decided to play the wait and see game before he tells Kirin about it. He knew Kirin remembered the event they were going to go to, but he wasn't going to bring it up right this second or if at all.

"I can easily make a pitcher of lemonade for all of us." Rita says heading to the kitchen.

"So Kent thanks for helping me out earlier."

"Not a problem," Kent said lightly, "Even though I wasn't myself back there. The real me would of been shaking in my boots."

JJ looked at Terrance and commented, "Just relax for now, you don't want to over stress yourself."

Terrance nodded and took out his smartphone to see if any of his congressional aides e-mailed him about any issues.

Meanwhile on a rooftop not so far away, Rachael is in tears. She knew JJ was right, and she wondered if she had a connection with him. She didn't like the fact and she kind of disliked the 'machine' types as she called 'em. She was thinking of popping on back, but she didn't want to make a scene like that.

"I noticed... why is that?" He asks. He doesn't want to offend his friend but he is curious.

Rita comes back with lemonade and cookies. "Here you go?" She sets the tray on the table.

"Well, some say it's another personality of mine," Kent said as he was thinking of a sensible answer, "I think he is just another person that is trying to takeover me. I just want to be myself and not have other personalities..."

JJ Takes a glass of lemonade and drinks some. then he grabs a cookie and munches on it. Terrance puts his smartphone away after a while and then takes a glass of lemonade and takes two cookies.

"Are you really happy being a congressmen?" JJ asked Terrance, "You don't seem like the political type. You seem more like a humanitarian type."

Terrance thought about the question and then replied, "Well I just want the people's voices to be heard."

"There's other ways, kid," JJ said as he finished his cookie, "You still have a long road ahead of you anyways."

Terrance nodded at JJ and then said to Rita, "Great cookies, these taste really good. Just like the ones at the picnic."

"They are my specialty." She says with a smile.

"I am sure you can over come him." Kirin says to Kent.

Terrance smiled back and then saves the rest of the cookies for everyone else.

"So far it hasn't worked out," Kent said as he grabbed a glass of lemonade and some cookies, "He won't leave but oh well at least I am still myself for as long as I can be."

JJ sits there and smooths back his hair. He then gets up and tells Kent he'll be back in a bit. JJ went outside to see if he could spot Rachael somewhere. He found her on a rooftop. He didn't want to join her on the rooftop so he signals her to come down. Rachael sighs and appears in front of him.

"What is it now?" Rachael said to JJ, "You already embarrassed me."

"I'm concerned about you," JJ said to Rachael, "You're not helping your brother's well being. You're doing more harm than good, sweetie."

"How do you know, you're just a hunk of junk!" Rachael said as she was tearful.


"I know you don't mean that," JJ said as he tried to comfort her, "You been through a lot of pain, and you're taking it out on others. That's not healthy. Think about how your brother and your family feels."

Rachael sighs and knew JJ was right, although she wondered how he knew all of this. She though his mutation was just cybernetic.

Meanwhile back at Terrance's house, Terrance gets a phone call and excuses himself for a moment.

Kirin nibbles a cookie and sips lemonade. "When does he come out?" He asks. He wishes he knew how to help his friend.

"I don't even know anymore," Kent said as he sighed, "JJ knows the answer to that question better then I do."

Kent knew there wasn't might Kirin could do for him about that other personality. Terrance comes back to the room and sighs. He had to go back to his office in DC and start talking to his office aids and other staff members about something that just popped up. He didn't want to go to the office but he had no choice. They wanted him down there now.

"Sorry to spoil the fun, but I am needed at the office," Terrance said as he sighed.

Kirin starts shaking a bit but he does his best to hide it. He goes and hugs Terrance. He resists the urge to beg him to stay. "Be safe." He whispers.

"Are you sure you have to go?" Rita says. She can see Kirin doesn't want Terrance to leave.

"I will be," Terrance said as he gets another text message telling him to get to the office.

Terrance looks at Rita and then thinks about it for a minute. Then he realizes something might be up because usually they wouldn't call for him this late at night. Then he calls his secretary to make sure it's legit.

"What? It wasn't y'all that was calling me?" Terrance said into the phone, "and it wasn't y'all that was texting me? That means our system has been hacked! Thanks for telling me"

Terrance went back to where he was sitting and wondered who would set him up like that.

"Thanks Rita, and thanks Kirin," Terrance said as he sat back down, "I didn't realize that there was some kind of trap being set."

Kirin hugs him tight. "Who would want to do something like that?" He asks relieved that Terrance wouldn't be leaving. "Can Kent and JJ stay for dinner?" He asks. "Oh where did JJ go?"

"I am not sure," Terrance said as he was a bit shaken up, "sure Kent and JJ can stay for dinner."

"I have no clue, he said he'll be back in a bit," Kent said as he then looked at Terrance and wondered why he was nervous all of a sudden, "I noticed Pace's accent gets stronger when he is nervous."

JJ came up to the front door and knocked on the door. Rachael wasn't with him, but she told him that she'll meet up with him sometime. Terrance answered the door and let JJ in.

"Congressman Pace, your sister wanted me to give you this letter." JJ said as he handed him the letter, "She said not to read it right now."

"You can call me Terrance if you like," Terrance said as he was handed the letter from JJ.

"All right, you can continue to call me JJ," JJ said as he took a seat near Kent.

Terrance wanted to read the letter but decided to wait till company left to read the letter.
